I was extremely disappointed with our recent experience. We gave the the lady our budget on what we could afford to pay and afford to put down, and we were totally ignored regarding the figures we gave them. Before they even ran our credit they printed out a paper with mo eyes down and payment figures on it, claiming that these figures were true. On top of that they were trying to talk us into a car that was on their lot that we didnt like. They werent very willing to look into the option of getting what we wanted from another lot. When we said that we wouldnt be interested afterm that, then all of a sudden after two and a half hours they were willing to look online. After that ordeal, we returned the next day because we received a text saying they can get us into a brand new Sorento (which was what we wanted) and to let us know what color we wanted. I asked to see the figures and I was shown figures that was more than $200 over our budget a month for a monthly payment and the down payment was way our of our budget that we had informed them we could do. Not to mention what they were giving us for our trade in value wasnt what kelly blue book suggested for our car. I felt like I was just anot her sale trying to be made. I think it is extremely irresponsible of a dealer to not care about putting a person let alone a family with two little children over budget and into debt.

I have a history of replacing my vehicle every three years on average. After considerable research I settled on going with KIA. I visited 4 KIA dealers in my area. Of the four, one at first gave me a price that seemed reasonable until I got to Buchanan which was my last visit. Since I do not enjoy participating in the "car sales" game, I usually go with the first best price. This most recent purchase was one of the most pleasant experiences I have had over the last three vehicles I have purchased. Buchanan is a relatively small dealership located in a small but friendly community some distance outside of the Baltimore Metropolitan area. It turned out to be a smart choice on my part. The price was by far the best offered and I was greatly impressed with the three individuals with whom I interacted. Joe Duckworth, Dan Langford, and Mike Wheeler. Should my experience with my new KIA prove enjoyable to me over the next three years or so, I will most likely return to Buchanan and will surely recommend them to my interested friends. Jeremy OConnor and the Buchanan team did a great job Jeremy OConnor helped us evaluate the Kia Optima and Kia Sportage and was friendly and patient through the sales process and always did his best to answer our questions even if it took a little extra research. In addition we felt he was honest with us and knowledgeable about vehicle technology so that influenced our decision. We needed to replace an old vehicle from another manufacturer that failed unexpectedly and werent sure what we wanted, and were evaluating Kia vehicles for the first time. Although Jeremy always made himself available to answer questions, he didnt push the tempo of the sales process or our readiness to move forward. He listened to our concerns and answered them and gave us time to get comfortable that we were making the right decision. Mike Wheeler did a great job answering all the financing questions and making sure we had all the paperwork and final sales forms in order, so I felt confident this whole team was well organized and were doing things right. We eventually purchased the 2014 Kia Sportage and so far are very pleased with the vehicle and the experience at Buchanan Kia in Westminster.

Hubby and I were looking for economical commuter car...slightly used. James was pleasant and very informative of his Brand as well as inventory on hand. He showed us options based on the "bare bones" request we had made. He listened to what we said and made his choices of cars to show us. I was very impressed with his listening skills...quite rare to come across in sales. We test drove cars and made our choice. After the trip through Finance and many signatures later we left Kia Buchanan feeling satisfied. It was a Wonderful feeling! Whenever we have purchased cars in the past it was always...Did we get a Deal? Maybe a Deal? or Did we pay more? When we drove off the lot my Hubby and I were excited about the car and the great people we met at the Dealership! There is one word to describe my overall experience at Buchanan Kia...AWESOME! From the time my wife and I walked in looking for a Kia Optima to the time we were driving off the lot with a brand new 2013 Ebony Black Kia Optima, our experience was great. Our two main contacts were Rob Graf and Dan Langford. Rob was great in showing us our different options and patiently working with us from start to finish and Dan was great in helping us see why Buchanan Kias prices and perks were better than other dealerships that we were also thinking about. Not only was the price the best at Buchanan Kia, their customer service was top notch compared to the other dealerships. Were so happy with our new car and when we are in the market again, we will definitely be coming back to Buchanan Kia. Great group of People to work with! I purchased a 2009 Ford F-150 from the Used Car Store of Buchanan Kia. I was treated very good by your employees. Mike Royer was sincerely interested in what kind of vehicle I wanted and how I was going to use the vehicle to get just the right fit for me. Mark Erbling was very knowledgable and explained in detail every step of the purchasing process. He went to bat for me with my less than perfect credit rating to get me into the vehicle I wanted, at a rate that I could afford. I was not surprised by anything when I went in to the Finance Office and signed the papers. Michael Wheeler made the purchasing process quick and easy. Allen Loscomb was extremely helpful when I went to talk about purchasing a vehicle. He was very knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. I enjoyed my vehicle purchasing experience a lot as he was upfront and honest with me. I was able to purchase vehicle within 48 hours of entering the showroom. Tim Thompson was the manager working on the finance and was honest and open during the entire process. I truely valued his honesty and explaining exactly what I needed in order to purchase the vehicle. He was willing to answer any and all questions I had about the financing and the experience was painless. I highly recommend deailing wih both Allen and Tim as they were not the "typical car salesman" that you are use to dealing with when purchasing a vehicle. This experience has given me faith in trusting car salesman again.
