Absolutely the WORST shop I have EVER taken my car to! Never will again! Craftsman Auto body in Gainesville is the absolute WORST shop I have been to! I hit a deer and went to the shop, did a horrible job the first and second time my car was there. Not only the second time my car was there when I got it back that everything was still messed up I had a HUGE scratch that went into my paint on my bumper and they tried covering it up with CLEAR COAT. Then it was taken back the third time. I can STILL see inside my bumper from both headlights and my fender I can still pull apart. Then I was on my way home from Kings Dominion and my Break Fluid light came on! I knew right off the bat when I took it home that they had done something to my breaks, they had to bleed my breaks. Fine, but once you do that refill the break fluid! HORRIBLE shop!

I went to the one in Culpeper. Total rip off. I had some damage to the rear bumper and front passenger fender. The garage door scratched the rear bumper and a tote fell off a shelf and hit the fender causing a small dent and paint to come off about the size of a quarter. The guy gave me a price of $500 just for the rear bumper and wouldnt give me a price for the fender until he could find a whole fender to price out. Said the whole thing needed to be replaced. All of this after I walked in and had to wait 10 minutes before being helped because the guy was talking and joking with a fellow employee. No one else was there customer wise. I ended up taking it to Chrysler of Culpeper to their body shop and it was fixed in 3 days for $650 total. Looks brand new. Dont waste your time with this place in Culpeper, VA.

I cant write a excellent review because of a few things that happened the last time a vehicle was there. They charged my wife a deductible that wasnt supposed to be changed. This was after I had them call usaa. Then there was a big greese mark on the headrest of the passenger seat. We had to go back and have them clean it.

Initial rating good overall. Lisa worked with me on my questions and was forthcoming with estimates. She ended up printing three seperate estimates and worked with me on pricing since I am paying out of pocket and not through an Insurance company. So far I would say I am satisfied, but more to follow.
