The collision center was mediocre on the service, could have been better but Kim Smart the apparent manager of the collision repair body shop was very rude on the phone when she is supposed to be a manager dealing with customer service. I am in the hotel service industry and if i talked like that to a customer they would never come again and i would be fired. Too bad this place is where people go because they have to because this place would be out of business if it wasnt for that just looking at their customer service. My mother was on the phone with me and my mother may have been trying to get too much information at once but the way Kim Smart handled it on the phone was completely wrong. The rudest remark was saying she couldnt deal with my mom as she was handing the phone to someone else. As a manager myself, i would never hand the phone to an employee to tell them to deal with a situation like that. That is a managers job. I dont know why she got on the phone in the first place because i was talking to the person that was looking at my car and i told him i wanted to include my mother in on the conversation and she was there when i got back to the call saying she has done this for so and so years and that my car was totaled and giving options of what to do instead of telling us what was actually wrong with the car. I called back to tell her i was upset at the way she spoke to my mother and i wanted an apology because no one is supposed to disrespect your mother and she tells me she acted that way because of a death in the family in an angry tone and continued not letting me speak just like she did to my mother. I was very calm about the situation but i do not let people walk all over me especially when i just got into an accident the night before. I am sorry for her loss but in a workplace a manager especially should not be bringing up family issues because personal business should be left at home when at work. And maybe she should not be at work if she cannot handle it. Kim Smart should not be a manager.

AAA chose this company for me twice, once in 2016 and once in 2017, and I advise any AAA customer to demand another company. That is noted on my file going forward and I will also be reminding any AAA employee not to send a tow truck from this company. The driver on the first tow tried to overcharge me on mileage because I only have 5 free miles and my mechanic was 6.4 miles away from my house, and I had to threaten to have him unhook the car en route to get away from his price-gouging if he didnt go the speediest route. But the 2nd experience costs me $85 because the driver on that tow flooded my engine trying to get a car to start that wouldnt start (thats why I needed a tow!). The holes that the spark plugs sit in as well as my motor oil were flooded with gasoline at my mechanics shop, and this put my mechanic and his employees in danger because a stray spark could have set his entire garage on fire. In addition to paying for a new distributor, which was why the car wouldnt start in the first place, I also had to pay $85 for an oil change and for the removal, cleaning, and re-insertion of spark plugs multiple times. I filed a complaint with AAA about this company, and it told AAA that the engine had already been flooded when the tow truck driver arrived, which wasnt true because I had only attempted to crank it two or three times before calling AAA. I urge every AAA customer whos had or has in the future a bad experience with Mobile Repair to tell AAA; if enough people complain about the same place, hopefully AAA will remove them from their metro Richmond database.

Mobile repairs put a axel and seal n my 2003 Volvo suv. In a couple of months the seal they installed went bad.As a direct result of the seal going bad all of the transmission fluid ran out of the transmission.I was made aware of this because my vehicle would not pull when I hit the gas but then it would just snatch extremely hard.I called them and they said bring it out to them so they could have a look.At that time they told me it was in fact the seal they installed that caused this problem. They fixed it by replacing the seal and I provided a new axel which was damaged as well. They test drove my vehicle and told me I could pick it up.My truck ran fine that day but the next the transmission started slipping severely.IF ANYONE THAT HAS A LEGIT PROBLEM OF THIS SORT PLEASE CALL CHANNEL 12 THEY WILL HELP MORE THAN U THINK! They fixed the first part of the problems but then turned around and said they were not liable for the damage that was done to my transmission due it being driven while continually losing transmission fluid.I am sorry to say that they do not fully stand behind their work and acted as if I was at fault and refused to do anything but display terrible attitude.I AM VERY UPSET AND WILL PURSUE LEGAL ACTION!

AAA tow truck was the owner of the shop who met me for a tire change. There was a problem with the tow truck and it took him 45 minuets to be able to attach my car to the tow. He was very rude and unprofessional. All I needed was a tire replacement. The tow truck driver said we can pick up the car the next morning (Wednesday morning was the promised day of pick up). We called them in the morning the next day and were told that they wanted to replace all three tires rather than one, I refused and went to meet them for one tire replacement. When I got there Wednesday morning, I was told that the tire employees left and wont be back til next Monday, six days after the day the truck was towed! Although there were many mechanics at the shop that could help, they refused to change the tire! I had to drive the car on a flat tire for a trusted car shop to get my tires replaced. This business is not reliable and are waiting to take advantage of their customers. I am disappointed AAA would recommend this and question their reliability.

Wonderful company! I had to use AAA to get my car towed on the Saturday of Easter weekend. My key fobs werent working for my car and the battery wouldnt turn over. Bryan came in 30 minutes of contacting AAA and helped us in the rain AND denied a tip! So nice! Come Monday morning, I contact the dealership where my car was towed and they "couldnt find it." I called James Smart, the owner of the company, with the order number to ensure my car made it there appropriately. He confirmed the tow job and even called the dealership personally to find out the issue. Come to find out the employees at the dealership had not even looked on the lot before telling me my vehicle wasnt out there (and throwing me into a panic attack!) Both employees of this company were MORE than helpful and kind. Hopefully we wont need a tow or more repairs any time soon, but if we do, well be getting in contact with Mr. Smart!
