After being consistently ripped off by every chain garage in Harrisonburg I decided to look for a locally owned garage for my 1990 Ford Bronco XLT. This is the only garage with 5 stars and I can absolutely see why! Everyone was INCREDIBLY friendly and they always called me with updates, ensuring that I knew every detail of what was going on with my vehicle. Theyve had to do so much with my vehicle, including replacing a PCM without having the model number for it, and I have no doubt it would have cost me THOUSANDS anywhere else. Everything in my bronco was factory original so things crumbled the second they touched them, but they didnt charge me for replacing bolts or the hours of labor they spent searching for every piece of those broken bolts. I can honestly say my Bronco has NEVER run this quietly or this smoothly in the 5 years Ive had it. This is definitely my garage of choice. Their staff is super friendly and helpful and their prices are fantastic! Thanks for all your help, guys! "Buck" thanks you as well. He narrowly avoided the scrap yard.

When dealing with auto repair shops, you have to keep your BS meter on high. After doing a ton of research on reputable auto repair shops in Harrisonburg we went with Jacob Kline. When I saw how many parents of JMU students had given his repair shop great reviews in the past we went with him for our college age daughters Subaru repair. Big job, head gasket. I was very happy with the timely communication by Kate (you get texts on the repair timeline), the fast turnaround and quality work. Weve been back for more work in the intervening two years. Last month Jacob tracked down an electrical problem and also repaired an exhaust leak by welding in a pipe at a very reasonable cost. This shop is great, highly recommended.

I could not possibly be more pleased with Jacobs work. I honestly feel like hes treated my truck (a 2005 F-150) as if it were his own since I bought it over 3 years ago. Hes knowledgeable about every aspect of it, and doesnt recommend something unless its definitely needed or in my best interest. Also, Katey is wonderful about keeping you informed if you have to leave it there for an extended period of time, which is very helpful if youre like me and need to try to schedule someone to pick you up and drop you off. If you want an honest and fair auto professional, your search should start and end with Jacob G Kline Automotive.

Took a truck here, completely unannounced, for a pre-purchase check. Id already been to another mechanic, and was told there was a rust issue, but they didnt have a lift open, and since the trip to get to the truck was 2 hours each way, I felt it would be good to see just how bad the rust was. Jacob had a lift open, but walked out to see it and immediately spotted body filler in the fenders. We talked a little bit, and he said it was just a big red flag, and then he refused to take my money. From the days travels Im not very impressed with that dealer in Harrisonburg, but the mechanics were incredibly hospitable.

Theyre more than willing to help you out, the support staff is incredibly friendly and will work with you on payment options. Jacob was the mechanic who actually worked on my truck, and he took care of the thing Id brought the truck in for, and didnt try to upsell anything else. I left the shop with a couple of recommendations (which I will be coming back for) to keep my truck running in good shape, and a good feeling knowing that my truck was in the right hands. I definitely recommend Jacob G. Kline to anyone who needs anything done to their car.

Unquestionably 5 Stars. Very friendly and very engaged with me about my car. Clean all around, with a comfortable (too comfortable?) waiting area. When I picked my car up, I received an empowering "deep-dive" info-session regarding my car and the issues it has been experiencing. No "funny business" at this shop. ...So, Ive decided to breakup with my mechanic of 20 years. So that, now, Jacob G Kline will be my go-to service shop.

We were visiting family and our rotors needed replacing before safe travel home. Jacob fit us in that day and told us an estimate of the work. He kept everything within our budget and did AMAZING work! My van hasnt driven this smooth in a while! Its hard to find a trustworthy mechanic that can do high quality work AND not overcharge! He is a great man and an even better mechanic. His business is strong, but I could have known that based on his ability and skill set. His business is like a true shop with the feel of a backyard mechanic. I dont go anywhere else to fix my vehicles, even though I like working on them on my own. Jacob and Kate were great! My JMU college student and wife broke down while visiting yesterday in Harrisonburg. These guys were pleasant to deal with, responsive on the phone and the cost for the repair was very reasonable. Would absolutely recommend them and if my daughter has any further car needs while at school, she is going here.

Jake Kline runs a very professional Automotive shop. They have worked on my bmw, Lexus sedan and my wifes infinity. I wouldnt take them anywhere else. They help me build a service plan with scheduled maintenance built in so now I spend less on up keeping our vehicles. Thanks Jake!

You as a potential customer have every right to know public records indicate that Brent Kline, whom is somewhat affiliated with Jacob, got scooped up into court multiple times for obtaining money by false pretenses, installing fraudulent equipment, debt, etc.
