I cannot recommend D&D enough. They are courteous, friendly and professional. I brought my car in recently for what I thought was a minor issue - not only were the staff at D&D extremely helpful in looking at it straight away, but when it turned out to be not such a minor issue (and in fact pretty serious, requiring virtually the whole engine to be replaced!) they immediately recommended I take it in to the dealer where the repairs would likely be covered under warranty. They wouldnt accept any money, despite spending almost an hour looking at the engine and giving me four quarts of oil to get me from their shop to the dealer (the car was not safe to drive more than a few miles!). One of the mechanics even offered to give me a ride to my next engagement, since the car wouldnt make it. I couldnt believe the level of honesty and kindness - rare in this day and age - D&D thoroughly deserve their excellent reputation and I recommend them to everyone in the Leesburg/Ashburn area.

After weeks of research on the net and observation of my cars vibration problem, I wrote my 2 pages of findings, including detailed observation of what exactly is taking place when Im driving. When I initially visited D&D to set up an appointment they read all of it! I set an appointment and they were able to repair my cars vibration and brake problem. The car drives like new. Thanks for reading, listening to what I wrote and said. I think I saved some money and made their job easier, something that I found not many people in the forums on the net with similar problems were able to say.It was the first time that I used them as Im new in the area. A rumbling sound from the rear passenger side tire of my vehicle was diagnosed by another mechanic shop as a faulty hub assembly. I took the new hub assembly to D&D to have them replace it, thinking that this was the problem. They said "Let us check it out and we will give you a call to let you know what we find" Twenty minutes later they informed me that all I needed was a new tire. They saved me money and a headache. I will always go to D&D whenever there is a repair that is beyond my abilities. I even trust them over the dealership. #RealTalk

I got the run around from POHANKA Lexus, telling me the catalytic convertor needed to be replaced. I had the work done believing them and the next day the same problem reoccurred. They would not honor their work saying it was the other side, and it would be another 1500. Needless to say, I brought it to D&D and they did the REAL testing finding it was simply and O2 sensor. I will always use them for future repairs and suggest others to drop their dealerships and follow suite.

Local, honest car repair. This is the kind of shop you can trust. I had my oil changed in February and they remembered me when I came back in June because of a conversation we had. Diagnosed the problem for free on my June repair and gave quick service. Good prices too. I will pay $30-40 for an oil change (a little more than some places with a coupon) because they are a real ma/pop shop. My go-to place for car repairs in Leesburg!

I needed work on my catalytic converter, cooling system, an induction service, as well as some sparks plugs. After I had gotten the car back from D&D it was making a funny noise and my first thought was "Im gonna have to fight this." But I didnt, D&D fixed it happily, and were very professional about it. The prices were fair and everything was done in a timely manner. My car works great and I will be going here again.

While my car is running again, Ill tell you how they lost the other 3 stars. First Star: Blew through two estimates, and charged much more than my mechanic, $120 per hour. Second Star: estimated it would take two days, kept it for eight. Third Star: while Mike was friendly and professional, the owner was rude and treated me like a common criminal when his payment system didnt work. I wont be going back.

A TRUSTWORTHY shop. Repaired my 20 year old truck for half of what I would have paid elsewhere. Forget the over priced dealers and chain repair shops. Its about time we once again have a shop where the owner is involved in every vehicle. They understand cars have owners at D & D. Save yourself some $$ by going where they tell you straight up what you need and let you make the call.

Doug and his crew are honest and reliable. I will not take my car anywhere else going forward. They do not try to "upsell" with all kinds of repairs and services like the other shops in town do. They tell you what is wrong and what it takes to fix it. They add some nice touches to their service that do not cost extra. I highly recommend this shop for auto repairs!!

Was VERY pleased with the service. I thought there was something wrong with my car because of the dashboard light that was on. They checked and double checked, and assured me all I needed was an oil change. WHEW! *huge sigh of relief* It is so rare to find a mechanic who does not try to rip me off. Will definitely be going back to D&D in the future.

-Honest -Owner-operated -Easy to understand explanations -Quality workmanship Ive had routine maintenance and also brake/tire work done here. Great work, honest delivery - saved me $$ by machining rotors when I was prepared to replace them. Its the kind of place you dont have to worry about the up-sell. Highly recommended.

Only place I will take my car now - they are honest, skilled and reliable. Doug replaced my rotors and brake pads for a lot less than the dealer was asking. I supplied the aftermarket parts and he installed everything - something the dealer refused to do! Goodbye dealer - Hello D&D! Wish I had found them years ago.

Took our 05 Odyssey to D&D for a whining power steering pump. Dealer had told us the pump was bad, $700 to replace. Took it to Doug and he flushed/filled it and cleaned a screen in the reservoir. Took care of that problem. D&D will get all my repair work now. Thanks Doug!

Recommended by a friend. The check engine light came on and needed my car diagnose and fixed on the same day. D&D diagnose the issue and fixed it within 4 hours, bad coil causing the cylinder to misfire. Great price and would highly recommend them.

I have always been happy with the service from Leesburg Automotive. They are very friendly and care about their customers, not just the cars they work on like most other auto shops. I will be taking my car to them for years to come.

D&D Automotive is hands down the best service center I have used. They are fast, friendly, reasonable and reliable. I had to have a CV axle replaced and state inspection and it was completed by lunch time.
