I was in the market for a cheap tire until it started to snow and then I would get some snow tires. I called this place a day before and they had a tire but they needed to pick it up and they would have it at the shop by 2pm. I agreed. On the following day I received a call confirming the appointment before the appointment. But once I arrived to thw shop at the correct time I was informed that it would be a 1 and an half hour wait at best and it could be longer. I informed the personal that I had an appointment and it would take me 20 minutes to change 2 tire with low grade tools. I informed them that if they could complete the work sooner that would be best. I then got my new born and by the time I walked from the car back to the shop office, I was informed by the manger that he knew I was going to get mad! I informed him that I might be displeased about what you are about to say. He informed me that in fact they did not have the tire and I could come back Mondayx. I promptly informed him that this was unacceptable and that yall even called to confirm the appointment, but now when I arrive there is an issue. Something didnt feel right and I informed them that is feel that yall are being malicious. They promptly say no and what not. But I got the feeling that if I was a good ol boy (Caucasian) I would not be going through this issue. We just moved to the area and needed the tires cjaged and do the the hurricane that was coming to the area we wanted to make sure we got new tire just in case we would have to leave. Now after hours of looking and over 100.00 dallor more Ill be done with the tire matter at another shop. So instead of getting the work done in a reasonable amount of it time, it was done close to 6pm because it was a late notice with others shops and I had to wait for them to work on other peoples cars... cause they had an appointment. THEY SHOULD HAVE AT LEAST OFFERD A DISCOUNT OR OFFER TO PAY 15, 20 % OFF MY PRICE AT ANOTHER LOCATION. I THINK IF I WAS A GOOD OL BOY OR GIRL I WOULD NOT HAVE THIS ISSUE... I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANY SO CALLED NEGRO, NATIVES OR MEXICANS GO HERE, BUT I DO RECOMMEND GOOD OL BOY AND GIRLS GO HERE, I SURE YOU WONT HAVE ANY ISSUES! Also it was raining a lot and I had to drive around to find a tire place! The Most High dont like wickedness and The Most High will bring judgment too yall fact!

I went here after we blew a tire and needed it replaced. I agreed to get two tires since we had just replaced two of our other tires six months before. The price seemed reasonable for the two tires. As I was waiting, they came back with a long list of other items, including rear brakes that they claimed were unsafe, and filters. The bill was going to total around $1800. I was expecting to pay a little over $400. I was very uncomfortable and had my husband call and deal with them. We agreed to have them add on an oil change since that was almost due, and the tires. We spent $548 for two tires and an oil change. This was completed in mid-May. I refuse to go back there because our tire pressure sensor light wont go off and we ended up with an oil leak. We were also getting really bad gas mileage. Im afraid theyll find even more problems if I have them check anything. When our alternator went out, we took our van back to Complete Auto Center. They fixed the oil leak and rechecked the brakes, which they assured us are fine. They also didnt try to pressure us into getting any unnecessary work done.

I stopped by G&C this afternoon after reading all of the positive reviews on Google. All I needed were my safety and emissions inspections, but I was looking for a more convenient shop. I stopped by the G&C in Manassas and inquired about the inspections. The owner, Greg met with me and advised that they would be happy to inspect my car immediately, but they only offer emissions inspections at their Chantilly location (at this time). I went ahead and had them complete the safety inspection since I was already there. They have a very clean shop with a comfortable waiting room. Additionally, they had an Apple iPad available for customers to play with while waiting. Much to my surprise, when they finished with my vehicle, Greg had contacted another nearby shop and arranged for me to get my emissions inspection immediately. He had also printed me a map showing the location of the other shop. I was extremely impressed with the customer service at G&C. I will definitely be returning in the future and I would recommend this shop to anyone.

There are some things you only want done to your car by technicians who understand what they are doing. The technicians at G&C are excellent. They are straight-shooters. They do what you ask and dont try to pull any fast ones, which I really appreciate in this day and age. I was grateful that G&C was able to provide a loaner so I could allow them to take the time needed to do the job right while I took care of my business. They did exactly what I asked and were able to handle an unexpected curve ball they encountered and helped me avoid an unpleasant surprise later. I know enough about cars that I could see that the few additional service items they recommended were legitimate, so I came back two days later to have that work done. In short, G&C is an honest business that does good work for a fair price and, as a result, earns repeat business. Hats off particularly to Ryan. Hes a credit to G&C. I highly recommend G&C as an honest, competent auto service establishment.

I dropped by today (08/11/16) at around 3:00 PM because my check engine light turned on. I was hoping that someone at G & C could run a diagnostic check on my car since I was due to drive to Massachusetts the following day. The employees I encountered in the office and on the floor were so nice, even when I did not have an appointment. They were able to get the codes, run the diagnostic check, and fix the problem (which luckily, was not too expensive and daunting) that day. While I waited for the car, I was updated frequently on the status of the repair. I felt like my input during the process was valued, even though I know relatively little about cars. We have taken our vehicles to G & C since moving to the area and will continue to do so! I wish I could remember the names of the guys who helped me out today, but I am having trouble recalling all of them. Please check the schedule and tell them they get a glowing review! :)

Picked this shop since its family owned with great reviews. Initially, Gregg the owner gave an awesome quote to replace my tie rod ends even if I provide the parts myself, was about to drop it off Chantilly location when the manager there questioned the quote and said they dont know where Gregg pulled the numbers from and basically said to expect about double what Gregg quoted. So I went to the Manassas location instead that honored the quote from Gregg. Unfortunately, it wasnt the tie rod ends that was the problem, it was the caliper and control arm. Since I didnt have time to buy the parts myself I just let them do everything even tho the parts are double the price, everything came to about $1,700. Im 2 weeks due to give birth, so you can only imagine how heavy this is for my pocket. I offered to pay cash in hopes of getting some discount but nope never happened.
