BEWARE OF THIS SHOP! I have had my vehicle to the Midas in Leesburg, VA four times and Ive also tried to use the Midas in Wilmington, NC multiple times. I have never once had satisfactory service. They have a tremendous markup on their parts and labor, by far one of the most expensive shops in town. I am mechanically savvy myself and I only use a mechanic when I dont have time to work on my vehicle or when I dont have the correct tools. I can tell you that they do not employ mechanics at Midas they only employ Parts Changers because they do not know anything about a vehicle. They can only do what they think the computer is telling them. I had my truck in their shop in Leesburg to fix the brakes and after several visits I finally had to fix and replace the brake system myself at my house, and they did not refund a dime. I then tried to use them again to fix an AC accuator. I had already purchased the part and just wanted them to install the part. Since I had my own part they were going to increase the labor cost from $60 to $120. Essentially taking away any money I saved by purchasing my part myself from the same store that they would have purchased it from! I then went in to have them change my oil...how can they screw this up? I had a discount coupon that they had mailed me and they were not going to allow me to use it because I had visited their shop in the past! And last but not least, I went into the shop to get a state inspection. Once again, how can they screw me here? They rejected my state inspection and told me it was because I had two bulbs out. They wanted to charge me $28 to change two bulbs!!! I bought both bulbs with two spare bulbs included for $12. Therefore you can see the markup here. I took the vehicle home to change the bulbs, and wouldnt you know it I did not have a single bulb out. They were simply telling me this to get me to let them change bulbs that were not bad!! So PLEASE BEWARE OF THIS SHOP! They are more than willing to scam you out of a buck at every chance they get. I know this from first hand experience. If theyll do this with light bulbs imagine what they would be willing to do when they tear into your enginge?! A place that you cannot confirm whether they are giving you the truth or not!

I have been taking our assortment of cars over the past six years to James Marsh (owner) and his guys for oil changes, new tires, diagnostics and more. Whether its a mini van, SUV, BMW or high mileage car, James has great integrity and treats you as if he is giving advice to a sister or family member - never looking to tack on unnecessary procedures to hike up your bill. He stands by his work and has gone over and above for my family and the safe running of our cars. His shop is a busy one, but you can usually get in within 24 hours if you set up an appt. and I have found them to be very quick with their service. Highly recommend his shop for all your car repair/maintenance needs.

I took in my car two weeks ago for a start-up issue. I thought it was the fuel pump. They checked it and said it wasnt the fuel pump but instead a fouled sensor. A week later the car completely refused to start. I hauled it back to them and this time they said the fuel pump was bad. Grumble. Grumble. But OK. How much will it cost? A TON! They wanted to charge me over $550 for just the fuel pump! The exact same brand is available for only $250 at any auto parts store! Thats WAY over a 100% markup, and their hourly labor charge is almost $100 an hour. Forget it. Way too expensive and I dont feel like I can trust them.

This auto shop has great pricing and the guys that work here are very nice and hospitable. They also explain all car problems in detail and try to work out whats best in your situation. The office is very clean, with many common services and prices listed. The waiting area has coloring books and such for kids, but for a longer stay, you might want to wait at a coffee shop down the street.

Very honest, I have been going there for years, they have had many opportunities to take advantage of me being ignorant of what needs to be done on a car and they are always upfront and make good recommendations and arent afraid to tell you everything is fine (even if it means not selling me something)

14 years!!! Ive been taking my vehicles there for 14 years and highly, highly recommend it. James and his mechanics are honest and will tell you whether or not they need to perform a particular service before you decide. You can trust them. Myself, my family and friends take their vehicles there.
