I have to admit that I know almost nothing about cars. So when it comes to buying a used car, my first priority is to find a seller I can trust. I want to be sure that the car dealer is thinking about my best - and not only trying to get hold of my money as quickly as possible. I went through quite many local shops for used cars before I came to South Ave Auto. Here the service I got convinced me quickly that these guys I can rely on. They were friendly and honest - and seemed to know what they were doing. We narrowed down the choice based on my budget and preferences. The car that I wanted - Buick LeSabre 2001 - had not been looked at yet, but Vance promised to fix everything that needs to be fixed in two days. He eventually worked until 9 PM one evening just to make sure I got the car when I wanted it. They fixed a long list of things - most of them things I wouldnt have realized to ask for. They also helped me to go through all the paperwork related to registration. Throughout the process I felt comfortable. I felt that they were looking after me and really made an effort to make sure that when they handled the car over to me, everything should be in order. I would recommend South Ave Auto to anyone who values reliable and honest service. In this business, it is sometimes a rare quality.

2 years ago, I took my car to South Ave Auto to be inspected. I was told I needed new front wheel bearing to pass inspection. after getting new wheel bearings, I noticed that there was a pause when trying to accelerate the vehicle. I took the car back to the garage and was told, "good thing you brought it back." My car was leaking transmission fluid because the axles were not communicating with the wheel bearings. After that fiasco, I decided to never go back to South Ave. 2 years later, my left front wheel bearing sensor has failed. I took my car to a different garage to have it fixed. when I asked if there was anything else wrong, I was told that my right front wheel bearing was installed improperly. It is backwards and there are wires going to it that are being stretched since they barely reach. I know it is only a matter of time until I have to also replace the right front wheel bearing. I would not recommend South Ave Auto to anyone, for I believe their work is incredibly amateur.

I love this place! I move around a lot and it is always hard to find a good honest mechanic. Forget the chains, I have had so many bad experiences with chains. These guys are awesome, you can call them up and tell them what you need done and when, they will fit you in. I wait on site for all my service to be done and they are fast and helpful. If they are busy they will tell you so (instead of waiting two hours for an oil change). I recognize the guys that work there and the owner even remembers me when I call to schedule service. Bottom line: theyll help you save money by getting used parts when possible, wont make you wait hours, and dont try to sell you stuff you dont need. Plus they have wifi!

I cant say enough positive things about my experience with South Ave Auto. First of all they got me in quickly at a time that worked with my schedule, and then provided exceptional care. To be able to trust and have complete faith that Im getting the best quality and service is invaluable. Often, as a young woman who knows the basics about cars, I am cautious about being taken advantage of, but here I can trust that they will talk to me about all the available options, and only do what I need/want without pressure. I am so thankful to have this garage nearby.

This is a good shop with pleasant, friendly people throughout. Im happy with the work they performed. Importantly--considering I know little about cars--they are low-pressure and honest: when I balked at the prospect of a certain labor-intensive repair, explaining that I drove the vehicle only rarely, the shop owner suggested an alternative solution that would cost me very little. This was not a true fix, but a "work-around" that was acceptable considering my particular driving habits. Considerate and impressive customer service!

Ive been to see the guys at South Ave Auto a few times now and they are excellent. Their prices are reasonable and their work is top notch. But the best part is that they are genuinely nice people. I never feel like they are trying to take advantage of me or my lack of automobile knowledge- they are always willing to show you exactly what is going on in your car. They also stayed late on Friday night before a holiday weekend to make sure my car was safe and inspected. Highly recommend and will be going back!!

I have never made payments before in my life, and after researching other dealerships I chose this one. Antwon was very helpful in finding me a nice car for a great price! I have had my car now for a month and still have had no issues. Everyone here is very friendly and Vance was awesome in helping me finish up the paper work for my car. I highly recommend this dealership to everyone!

I stopped today for directions as I was a little lost. The gentlemen in the office were very pleasant, and took the time to find the me the easiest route to the place I was going. Even going out of the way to print me a map. The directions were great. I arrived with no problem and even indirectly found another place I wanted to go to that wasnt on my agenda. Thanks
