C300 4matic, drivers side door replaced; I am trying to schedule an appointment for the forth time. Past three times, they could not adjust my door right causing wind noise & water leak from car wash. Tysons Corner Collision Center could not fix these problems and I was not feeling welcomed by them when I took my car in for the third time. Now, I just found out that they damaged my speaker... I am going in for this one and will update my review. Update 1. Just found out that they damaged my original door (Harman Kardon Speakers). I finally scheduled my forth appointment on Tue. coming week. I will update again... Update 2. Today I visited Tysons Collision Center again and spoke to Tim, a director. He was very kind and understanding and told me that he will contact insurance company and get back to me. I guess my next update will be the last one since Tim is the highest I can reach at the shop before taking them to court. Update 3. I went to the shop for the fifth time. Tim said he will contact the insurance company to replace my damaged speaker. I dont know why this takes weeks from my last update. He could have looked at the speaker when I was there last time. So, there will be another update, I guess....Its been almost three months since my first visit. In the mean time, I have been building up my documents for court, just for in case... Update 4. Again after few weeks, they received a check from insurance company to cover the damaged speaker from the accident (from a 4 inch door dent?) and they replaced the speaker and re-adjusted my door. It is not perfect, I still hear wind noise but I will settle. Its been longer than 4 months long battle and I will stop. I will probably take my car to MB dealership to fix the rest. I am bumping up to two stars for Tim, director there for dealing with his poor performance employees. To the employees at the body shop, please stop wasting company money and look for something you are good at!

My Porsche Panamera 4S had some minor bumper scruffs and underbody scrapes from unfortunately rolling down our driveway in neutral and hitting a retaining wall iron railing at very low speed. I am very detail oriented and maintain my cars immaculately so wanted to ensure my car is fixed to as good as new. There are currently only 2 Porsche approve collision repair centers in the DC metro area: Ty sons Corner in VA and Euro Pros in Gaithersburg, MD. I spoke to both and was concerned about the poor online reviews of Tysons Corner. However, after speaking to their director, Tim Pfeifle, I concluded that their 2-star rating was not representative as they fix hundreds of cars a year and only had 15 or so reviews online. Their clientele represents busy, successful professionals who wouldnt write a review if they were satisfied but if something went wrong, they would find the energy to trash the body shop online. So, a dozen bad reviews out of hundreds of cars per year wasnt a concern for me. Tim assured me he would take care of my Porsche so I decided to give them a try. I called in a few times during the repair process to ensure every part that I wanted to be replaced was replaced and they worked with GEICO to make it happen. I didn’t always get called back but they are a collision repair center not a 5-star hotel so you have to be proactive and work with them. I would simply try again and eventually get through. When all was done, I was satisfied with their work. There were a couple of minor issues but Tim had his team take care of them promptly. In fact, he went out of his way to fix an unrelated rock chip and didn’t even charge me for it. The work was good quality and the service was as good as you would expect from any high end body shop (they only work on Porsches, Aston Martins, Audis, MB and VW). Overall, I would endorse them strongly.

I rarely write negative reviews but based on my experience here in 2017, I would not recommend taking your vehicle here for repairs or service. I took my car here after it was broken into, resulting in a broken window and damaged headliner. In total, the repair took 6 weeks. Tysons Corner Collision seemed to have no sense of urgency and had endless reasons for delays. I later learned that they did not order several key parts until over 2 weeks after I dropped off the vehicle, exacerbating my delays. After a month, when my insurance rental coverage expired and I had to pay out of pocket for rental vehicles, Tysons Corner Collision offered no assistance or compensation despite the delay being caused by Audi. Throughout the experience, I very much felt like the management at Tysons Corner Collision treated me like a number, did little to mitigate the delays, and offered nothing to keep me as a customer or show me appreciation. To add insult to injury, when I finally received the vehicle back, they had not filled it with gas and my car had only 3 miles until Empty. I almost ran out of gas finding a station to refuel. I will say that, despite my frustrations over a seeming systemic lack of customer service, I found my primary case manager, Nabia Pirzada, to be very responsive. While she was unable to fix the situation, she was at least responsive to my concerns and elevated them to her management when appropriate.

I had a carbon fiber chin splitter which I cracked and broke while driving in Washington DC. TCCC and especially Shaun Robinson were recommended to me by several of my friends, so I decided to bring the car and the part by. To start, I was extremely impressed by the high level of attention to customer detail. I have had to work through several body shops over the years and one common issue is their lack of communication. That absolutely was not the case with Shaun Robinson. Shaun kept me abreast of the entire process. His technician Brian was also outstanding and is certified to work on Carbon Fiber Repairs. They did NOT use an epoxy of some sort but rather sanded the piece and used REAL CARBON FIBER pieces to repair the part. From start to finish I was proactively contacted making me feel as though regardless of how small the job, it is just as important as the major repairs they do there. When I saw the part, it looked SPECTACULAR and 99.999% of folks could not tell it was a repaired part compared to how I dropped it off. Thank you to Shaun Robinson and Brian for an outstanding job and great overall experience!!!

Unfortunately, my car has ended up here more so than I had wished. Regardless, Ive always had great experience with Tysons Corner Collision Center. They always call in to give an update and are always prompt in returning your phone calls. They work with your insurance so you dont have to deal with them after youve turned in your car and called your insurance. The work they do on your car is professional. Once youre done, your car looks brand new, almost like nothing had happened. They are open early and till late in the evening which makes it easy to drop and pick off your car around typical work schedules. Theyre located near Enterprise rental, which makes it easy to pick a rental if needed. They do take a long time to do the work but they call you frequently to give you an update and if you would like, you can also call in to see why its taking so long. Usually, they give a fair estimate on when your car will be ready.
