I planned a spa day for my boyfriend and myself this previous weekend for his birthday. I booked us for the Carribbean package, 60 minute masssage and classic pedicures. When we arrived everything was great we had rags and tea while we waited to be seen. Ladies at the counter were great. I had the pleasure of having Heather and she was superb. She is a truely gifted at her job. Kathy was also great I had no complaints when it came to the service they provided for me and my boyfriend. But when it came to check out that is where I had the biggest concern. I called ahead to see what packages were going to be best suited for what I was looking for and I was quoted a price over the phone. When we go to check out the price changed by $94.00 per person, when I asked about it I was told that she quoted me for a different service, one by the way, that I didnt ask about. I had a great day up until then. My boyfriend didnt even get his foot scrub which was apart of the Caribbean package. Kathy who performed my massage did tell me she used the Caribbean lotion anyway with a different type massage oil so it would not crumble up on my skin but I didnt feel that was a complete body wrap I wasnt wrapped in anything. I had my arms and feet wrapped with warm towels but that is not considered my entire body. I was told that the massage oil and the Caribbean lotion for the body warp would just turn white and crumble up on my skin which I understand because when we got a pedicures done she put lotion on my legs and it did exactly that. Each service that was performed was performed by different ladies which after spending that much money you had to tip each individual person, which in my case, was 6 different people which also seems a little outrageous. I felt bad because I didnt tip all of the ladies as best as I would have liked because I was coming out of pocket about $200.00 more then expected when cashing out. No kind of discount was offered for the misunderstanding. I felt cheated in more ways then one at this spa and will not return.

THE WORST MASSAGE OF MY LIFE!!!! The "therapist" spent half her time rummaging throughdrawers and mixing oils rather than having her hands on me. She somehow found out that I was a massage student and she began to offer me the same massage routine I was learning in my school, then halfway through two moves, she quit as if maybe unsure of herself. She admitted to me that she had been to three different schools and that she was unfamiliar with human anatomy. I love massage but this ignoramous girl taught me a very important lesson that I owe it to all of you to be studied and qualified before I ever charge you money for your time and risk you health. The only reason why I did not complain and demand my money back is beacuse the owner of this "spa" is close friends with the owner of my school and I did not want to draw that kind of attention to myself. But for the records, LADIES, your technician did not model the qualities of a therapist that you have asked me to represent. She is an embarrasement to you and the fact that she attempted a one minute half hearted routine from the first semester of class and then stopped when her knowledge of what you asked her to be out weighed what her capability was as a practitioner is, does not reflect well on either of your establishments. It just shows that she was trying to show off her "superior" skills to a junior student and then abandoned her attempt when she realized that she did not know the routine she was attempting. You have asked me and my classmates to exhibit professionalism. So please do the same when you hire people, thank you.

Ok, so I was going to VA Beach with my family for only 3 days. My wife has been totally stressed out so I decided to do some homework and get her a Day Spa package. Ive done these in the past so I was pretty familiar with packaging things together. I called a few places before feeling comfortable w/ Best Body. To make a long story short my wife HIGHLY recommends this place because they made her experience the best shes ever received. These are her words. She has had so many massages in the past, and Ive given her packages for other occassions as well. The package I got her was this: 1 hr full body massage. not deep tissue. Aroma Therapy or something like that. My wife said Jeannie Marie was the best!!!!! Used aromas, was quiet and talked in a soft tone voice, was just great. 30 min facial - same comments and same person 30 min reflexology treatment on her legs and feet - same person and then she finished off with a Pedicure. The lady giving her the Pedicure wasnt all that great to be honest. On top of my wife having the most relaxing experience ever she came out smelling just awesome. Really nice scents that were used in the massage. One thing my wife said was the products used were not oily as shes had at other places in the past. So, with all that said I highly recommend this on behalf of my wife. You should not be disappointed in your visit there. Just ask for Jeannie though. Good Luck

Please give this place a shot. We moved from Florida and I just couldnt find a place that was right for me in town. I finally tried Best Body Co and I have been going religiously and loyally since. Alyx is just amazing and does my cut and color. I get a wonderful head or arm massage with the service (included) and I get to enjoy a wonderful appointment with someone I love talking to and really trust. I can tell her to do what will look good on me and she takes it from there. Aveda products are fantastic and the color they use is very kind to my hair, even with their bright modern reds. If you want a bolder look use Aveda, they are just as funky and cool but not so harsh. Go here for a spa day or cut and color, you will love it!

This is a Class "A" spa! The massages are the best in town. Meticulous, soft lighting, soft music or nature sounds, heated bed, non-allergenic lotions and oils Aveda products, warm cloths heated constantly in crockpots, and excellent staff. My favorite massage therapist (who is also a RN) is Kathy Nelson. Kathy has the strongest hands in the world! Her personality is very warm and inviting. She sets a very relaxing environment and is very professional. The best in the business. If youre looking to de-stress, this is the place to go! Ive visited dozens of spas and none can compare to the Best Body Company! I feel like I can pour myself into my car by the time Im ready to leave. Total relaxation that lasts for days!

I cant say enough great things about this spa! I absolutely love getting massages from Best Body. I try to only go as a treat every once in a while, but I would love to be there every week if I could! I have had several different therapists and they are all wonderful, especially the owner, Ms Best. The last time I was there for a massage, I was complaining about lower back pain and the therapist recommended that I see their in-house chiropractor, Dr Jen, and I am so glad I took the advice. I have also had a facial at this spa, and that was great as well. Never miss an opportunity to spend a relaxing hour or two at Best Body; you will be so happy you did!
