Stay away from this Plumber...I submitted a online request for a estimate and repair for water leaking into my ceiling from my master bath on 1/4/2017 at 9:35pm. I understand the lateness of the request and didnt expect an immediate call. received a call from Mr. Rooter (Stacy) at 8:35am to schedule an apt for Thursday at 2 after their techs finished with a pipe break in Yorktown, to my surprise for a quick response and repair was really great. After reaching out to my wife to see if they had contacted her, but they hadnt. I called Mr. Rooter at 2:20pm to discover that they werent coming today and needed to reschedule...I work for a service provider and I understand that we rescheduled for Saturday (even knowing that the reports for the massive snow storm) we agreed on 12pm. I then received a call from Mr. rooter at 2pm on 1/6/2017 (Friday) asking if anybody was available at our home to allow a tech in to do the work. I advised that no there was not and that I could be home by 5:15. The assistant advised that she would check with the scheduler and call me back to see if they could accommodate since this is the second time that they would need to reschedule. I called on my way home at 5pm to check on the status of a tech with once again they wouldnt be making it again, they dont roll trucks past 3:30pm and would need to reschedule for Monday 1/9/2017 at 12. I called this morning 1/9/2017 to see if it was possible to have the apt moved to 1pm, since I would be driving from Hampton to meet with them. Stacy with Mr. Rooter advised that they in fact would not be able to get to me today once again. At this point I will be going to another provider because if theyre willing to reschedule on me 3 times, whats going to stop from 4, 5 or 6 times. I understand the weather is inclement but from one service provider to another....you should take care of your new customer and actually contact them before they have to contact you to verify if youre actually going to show up.

Their plumber, Mr. Gaddis, arrived promptly on a Sunday, quickly assessed the problem and cleared a major blockage (that had stopped up every drain and toilet in the house!) in short order. He was very professional in both dress and plumbing experience, 33 yrs, had all the necessary equipment, plus a high-tech camera to check the inside of the pipes for any probem areas (and did have suggestions as to what was causing the issue in the first place). He was also careful to leave his work area tidy. Not cheap, but this is the 3rd plumbing firm weve had to work on this probem in the last 5 months, and we think the most successful. Doing it "Right the First Time" pays dividends vs return visits (ground hog day plumbing). Wed definitely use them again.

They were outstanding and had a new hot water heater installed within 14 hours of my first call. The customer service rep took my call at 5:45pm and by 7:30pm Howard was at my home inspecting my heater. As suspected it needed replacing AND Howard had the exact model in his warehouse for such an event. He offered to get it installed that night but I said 7:30am would be fine if more convenient. He gave me a firm and fair price, especially for such immediate response and the next morning Howard and his assistant were on the job and by 9:30am (a perfect fit) the new 80 gallon NG heater was installed. Mr. Rooter is now my plumber of choice!

Finally found our go-to plumber after dealing with W’burg plumbing mediocrity for 18 years. Mr. Rooter of Williamsburg is incomparable! They installed whole home water softener we purchased from a big box retailer. Stacy was courteous and kept us apprised of installation schedule. Gordon actually listened to us; didn’t try to sell us another model and successfully installed system. The bill was same as estimate and VERY much less than big box installers’ quotes. So happy with them we signed up for the 3 year Advantage Plan!

I highly recommend this company! I came back from a trip to a leaky toilet. I called and they picked up right away, and fit me into the schedule just a few hours later. The communication was great with the office, and the tech came when they said. The technician, I believe his name was Travis, was so friendly and professional! He quadruple checked his work, and communicated well with me every step of the way. I will definitely call them next time Im in need!

Last Friday when we discovered we had no hot water.we called Mr. Rooter. Our initial call was late in the afternoon. Before the end of the day Mr Rooter came by to assess the problem. He quickly determined that the burner had given up and that the 10 year old heater needed to be replaced. We agreed and asked him to install a new water heater. Before noon on Saturday, he had returned and completed the installation. Very responsive. Great work!!
