Earlier this year my computer caught the cryptolocker (ransomeware virus) and David performed miraculous tasks. He discovered the problem and managed to salvage almost all of my data. He got me off XP to 7 seamlessly and switched out my old spinning hard drive to a SS. I called Aplus today with a new issue and Allen thought it wasnt a problem, a piece of cake!. I bought a Dell Ultrasharp monitor and it wasnt compatible connectivity wise (didnt want to go the route of an adapter) to my computer because my Dell tower had a VGA port and the new monitor was DVI-D. I brought my little, old, Dell computer back and David solved my most recent problem which was adding a new HDMI port and a new DVI-D port and a new ( for my old, monitor, in case I want to add it back) VGA port and my new monitor is exploding with a joy joy dance. I LOVE THESE GUYS! Who knew my Dell tower had an empty basement to add all these luxuries? Oh, by the way, I spoke on the phone to Allen in the late morning. I brought my computer to Aplus around 1pm and David said it would be ready after 3pm and it was at 3:05pm!

This is an update to my previous review. If there was an option of 3 1/2 stars I would have gone with that. I initially brought in a very slow laptop to find out what my options were for making it faster. It was suggested that I put in a solid state drive which made sense so they went ahead and did the work. Unfortunately that did not solve the problem of making my laptop faster so I had to bring it back a few times. The reason for the three star review is that although I brought it back about 4 times it was never communicated to me what the problem was until I was able to speak with Darren. Darren was very helpful in letting me know what the issue was and worked quickly to resolve it. Turns out the processor on the laptop was very inadequate and any other type of upgrade wouldnt be able to help it. Darren was very helpful in getting my money back on the hard drive. If I had talked to Darren first, before all of the trips in I would be giving a five star review, but I had to mark it down a bit for the initial lack of communication and my time spent running back to the shop.

I am a business owner in Southcenter Mall. Just last month, mall had a power outage, when the power came back, our two computers werent power up. We gave A Plus Computer a call and they asked me to bring the computers in. They were able to provide the RUSH service and fix the computers at the same day. They described clearly what happen to the computers and also gave suggestion on how to prevent similar senario happen again in the future by adding APC Surge Protector. They truely put their customers in priority and also very knowlagable about fixing computers. For the business owner, we just cant leave our Point of Sale terminal computer borken down for any longer. They were able to resolve the situation quickly and got our business back on track again in a short amount of time. I highly recommend this local computer repair shop to any business owner.

Integrity, superior knowledge, professionalism! A Plus has solved my disasters for the last six years. I am in a profession that demands instant attention to my clients at all times and when my computer crashed or I needed problems solved immediately A Plus also tried to fix the situation immediately. Honest, trustworthy, knowledgeable, and responsive are only four of the many superlatives I can offer about A Plus Computer Tech.This is a fantastic company and their knowledgeable personnel are counted among my group of professional advisors. Although I am effective in my field and line of work, I am a complete and hopeless dud in working with the complexities of technology. Now, when I experience a problem with my technology, break something I dont know how to fix, or have the need for support, I simply dial A Plus Computer Tech and know that very shortly my problem will be solved. BEWARE!!! These guys do not know anything about Laptops. Forget about servicing. I gave my laptop my laptop for service here for fan overheating. They told the harddisk is corrupted and had to change the harddrive for 350$(with service ofcourse). Even after I got it back I had the same issue an had to return it to them in 2 days. Then the analysis was that the cement or something in the fan unit is gone. Had to shell out another 100$ to put the cement.( to fix the fan, I guess). The shop has only 2 technicians and the above work was done one by each of them. Which tells what kind of service you can expect. The reason I am giving this comment is because NOW the issue I initially had, has come back last week and I am even not able to use my laptop now since the harddrive is crashing..

Definitely go see these guys for your computer issues. They went above and beyond what I asked of them. Had a four year old sony VAIO that needed a battery replacement. They stayed in great communication with me - I needed this done ASAP because I was leaving town, I never felt like I was a nuisance for checking in with them. They were polite and professional. My computer came back cleaned, and they also fixed some dings and cracks on it free of charge. This was my first time ever getting a computer fixed up, and Im glad I went here instead of best buy (they were the first place I considered going to) which had pretty dismal consumer reviews. All in all had a great experience with A Plus, will definitely use them for later issues!
