Agree with Kim. Save your money and workout elsewhere. This club is small, the staff is EXTREMELY rude, the facility was very limited, as was parking. I decided to check out their facility using a 7-day free trial they had posted on their website. So I signed up for it, and they emailed the promotional offer to me, with instructions to print it out and bring it with me. I then promptly received a phone call from them this morning checking to make sure I was planning on coming in, and insisting that I make an appointment to start using the promotion. So, I scheduled for 4pm, and then arranged my day accordingly. I also explained that I was moving in one month and would only be interested in purchasing a one month membership if I decided I liked the facility. She said that would be a cost of $55 for the one month. She did not indicate that I could not use my promotional pass due to my lack of a year long commitment to the establishment. When I arrived, one of their representatives approached me and immediately started trying to up-sell me into a membership. I explained that I had already spoken with a representative, and that I was moving in a month and would only be interested in purchasing a one-month membership. He then informed me that this promotional offer was "really only for people who want to join". I then pointed out to the line in their club email which stated that this was a "FREE, no obligation, 7-day trial for non-member first-time guests". He then re-stated that the offer was "really only for people who wanted to join". The repetitive drivel was irritating enough, let alone the blatantly false advertising! He then asked if I would like to speak to the owner to which I said I would. He disappeared for a bit, and when he came back, he informed me that he was "unable to reach the owner, but had decided not to LET me workout today" and once again repeated that this offer, despite stating "no obligation", wasnt "really intended for people like me". People like me?? Um, you mean people who fall for their false advertising? Not allowing someone to use a stupid seven day free trial, because they arent interested in joining for longer than a month (still a $55 fee), is the very definition of an "obligation". In unabashed disbelief (I think my jaw may have been hanging slack), I turned and exited their establishment. I WILL NEVER USE THEIR LAME EXCUSE FOR A GYM, EVER! Im not usually a gym person anyway. I prefer running out of doors, but I just thought Id give something new a try based on THEIR advertised promotion.

Save your money and workout elsewhere. Fees are expensive and facility is not great. Very small and limited supply of machines. Parking is terrible and rarely during typical workout hours is the machine you want open. Staff is even worse! They are rude and self-righteous. If you do decide to give them a try better get all agreements in writing because they will absolutely not honor verbal comments. And if you do question anything at all you better watch out! They will make it impossibly uncomfortable to even walk in the door much less have a good work out experience. They are very "clicky" and will defend even the most egregious behavior of each other even when they are dead wrong. Hope you dont want the internet while you workout because they dont have it. In fact the owner actually encouraged me to steal internet from the coffee shop next door! Wonder how Forza would feel about that? They will also say almost anything to get your money. God forbid you actually consider cancelling your membership as they will accuse you of making excuses not to work out. They are clearly way more motivated by duping people out of dues than they are about providing a clean, convenient and friendly workout environment. Don walk...run as fast as you can to another place for fitness. I would not send my worst enemy to these people or this facility.

If you are ready to take control of your health, Gig Harbor Anytime Fitness is the club to join. As the name indicates, it is open to members 24/7. You can also access any other Anytime Fitness which is a bonus when traveling. There is a wide variety of equipment and cardio machines to keep workouts varied and interesting. The equipment is well-maintained and updated regularly. The club also has various challenges to keep you motivated. The owners of Gig Harbor Anytime Fitness (Dean and Becky Carpenter) won the club operators of the year award in 2013. They take pride in ownership and in helping the community by involving the club in various charity events allowing members to participate. The club has numerous qualified personal trainers including one (Cory West) that won “Trainer of the Year” for all Anytime Fitness clubs nationwide. The club is always spotless (thanks Christi) and the Manager, Chris, keeps the club running like a well-oiled machine. It is a truly a team effort by all employees to maintain such an excellent facility. I just turned 57 and I think I am in better shape than when I was in my 20s. Join the club. You wont regret it.

I no longer am a member because I changed Medicare Supplements, but when I belonged, I found this a great place. As for parking, yes, its limited, as its in a "strip mall" with other businesses, so during peak hours, spaces will be difficult. How difficult would it be to go in OFF HOURS? I did, and never had an issue! As for "small", yes, smaller than the YMCA, but certainly adequate for the community and I never had a problem with finding machines available, nor a problem with staff! Quite the opposite! I wish my current supplement covered this facility, as I found it convenient and a safe place for a woman to be in, even ALONE at "anytime".

I would and do recommend this gym to everyone. The staff is extremely helpful and fun to be around. They are always trying to improve the equipment and ask for suggestions. The fact that its open 24/7 also makes it extremely accessible for people like myself who work during the hours of other gyms in the area. If youre looking for a personal training, I would highly recommend seeing Chris Emery. Hes a great trainer. Very knowledgeable and keeps the work outs fun while kicking your booty. Plus, they have a great massage therapist come in to do chair massages randomly. If youre looking for a new gym definitely go here first!!!

This is a great place - it is clean, the machines are in top condition, and the staff is friendly and helpful. I always can find a parking place and I can always find open machines and equipment (cant say that for other places I have used), and I use the facility 5 to 6 times a week. Being open 24/7 is really helpful - I have been able to go in at odd times when I needed to. Another benefit is that when you join one AF you join them all - I have traveled out of town and out of State and been able to work out at another local AF.

This is not the place to go if you want to swim or take group classes. But if you are looking for a clean gym that has a variety of cardio machines, a good assortment of weight machines and free weights, with hours that cant be beat (24-7 using a card to get in), and a friendly staff, this is a great gym to consider. I used to go the YMCA, and although I liked it, I kept showing up not long before they would close, or after they already had.
