GREAT experience, We recently bought a car from a Chevy dealership in Tacoma. My wifes wheels were chrome and after 2 months the chrome was peeling and causing two of the tires to have slow leaks. After battling it out with the dealership in Tacoma with no progress we decided to just get new wheels (we wanted to do that anyways). Schwab had to order them because they were 21"s and they didnt have them in stock, we scheduled a time to get there and when we got there the wheel that came in the wrong size. Dave our salesman/tire mechanic was very apologetic and we understand that "stuff" happens. A few days later the correct size wheels arrived and were installed. Dave, Skinner (Kevin Bacon), and James provided great service. A month later I found out that I needed front brakes for my 3/4 TN truck and I asked for Dave again, good guy. I ended up getting new brakes and I also bought new wheels for my truck, the service was impeccable. When I haggled on the price for my wheels with Dave he came down about $80 and I said ok lets do it as long as you get my truck washed also, (lol, my truck was dirty and I am lazy). When I got there to pick up my truck I had new brakes, new wheels and it was washed and they even shined my tires. Sure I pay for all of this stuff, but contrary to other posts I have read the customer service I receive there is great. Dave, James, and Skinner are my guys!!! Thanks for everything......GO HAWKS!!!

I had to cancel my account today after 15 years of using Les Schwabs all over the state.I have found some to be good and some to be poor. When I move out here to Maple Valley I was hoping this was a good one. Well I wasnt so lucky. Although the employees are nice and even call you when they know you are disappointed with their service, the workmanship isnt there. I shouldnt have to return to the store and get my alignment redone a second time when I spent a hour+ there the first time. I dont complain about much so when I brought it back they fixed it without question which was nice. But when I bring my jeep in to get the wheels balanced I dont need to hear you tires arent a good brand and thats why you have a balance issue when you sell them and mine are almost brand new still. I know what my issue is, its the fact I deflate them down to 8 psi for playing with my jeep club and they slip on the wheel bead, nothing to do with the tire brand. I have to go through this every month when I get back for playing. Dont talk down to me and think I dont know the tiny bit of technology that goes into balancing a tire. I hope I can find better service out here in Maple valley.

Everybody has a different experience. My experiences here at Les Schwab have always been positive and honest. Our entire household ( hubby, son and daughter ) all take our vehicle to this location. They are honest and trustworthy. If they werent, then the lobby waiting area just wouldnt be full of people waiting for their cars to be serviced. I comparative price shop ALWAYS. I also take into consideration friendly service people and if they are knowlegable. This location has the best prices for tires and repair. I checked Costco, Discount Tire and Covington Tire. When you roll up in your vehicle, its like the 1950s.....a nice young man comes trotting out to greet you and answers any questions without you having to even get out of your car. For me, this place works. I can only base my review off of the 10+ times Ive been in here with all of our cars, and everytime has been positive. Im sorry to hear of the other negative experiences, but I wouldnt base those negative experiences on whether you should do business here or not. Judge for yourself. It wont cost you anything for a price quote and you can decide for yourself. Im glad they are here in Maple Valley!

As a 30+ year customer of Les Schwab in various Northwest cities, I will NEVER step foot into another one of their stores because of the Maple Valley stores dishonorable behavior. The store manager has imposed a policy that they will not touch any tires not purchased from Les Schwab. He told me it was the Corporate policy implemented 1/1/17, but when I called the Corporate offices in Oregon they denied that this is a company-wide policy. I can understand trying to discourage people from buying tires elsewhere, but to turn away a long standing customer (as their system would show them) because I need support to mount & balance a tire in a rare instance because the tire in question was not purchased at their store is a dishonor to the man who started this company. Les Schwab would not approve of this behavior. Its too bad that the company culture is shifting away from valuing long standing customers to one that only looks at a point of sale opportunity.

Dont go here, My family (Owns 6 Cars, and 2 trailers) has been buying tires here since the store was built and we wont be going back. They are not faithful to road hazard repairs, the manager is only looking out for his bottom line and is a complete shyster and not at all trustworthy. My cars tires had wear bars that show when they are worn down, the tread was about halfway to them and yet the manager refused to even touch them unless I paid for two new tires. His claim was that I had used the tires to their full extent. The real reason was he didnt want to bother unless I spent an additional $600 in tires. I will stick to Costco or TireRack- Im always for the local businesses, until they lose their morals. Do yourself a favor and skip Les Schwab

I just needed a low profile tire aired up to get the beads seated on a 20" wheel, they dont charge for this so they have no obligation to provide any kind of service, & they didnt. They gave up after 2 minutes just like the Covington les schwab, & sent me away without any suggestions or hope of getting my problem solved. They had no trouble mounting all 4 last year while charging me $50 a tire. (Because of the tire size ) Anyway thankfully Discount Tire seated the bead & got it aired up in under 5 min. They had to use a Cheetah tank, but it worked 1st try. I dont think Discount Tire has more experience, they just obviously cared more about helping me when it wasnt going to make them any money than both les schwabs. I wont waste their & my time again

I must say, I have been a customer of Les Schwab for the past 15 years, and have always received excellent service until now. I purchased a new Camaro in 2013, purchased custom wheels for this through Les Schwab, and had them do the unmounting of the stock rims, mounting of the new rims, balancing, etc. I have had these rotated twice since then. When I went in to have them rotated again a few weeks ago, I was told since I didnt purchase the tires from them, the charge would approx $80. So,,,I spend over $800 on custom rims, have had previous service, and now I cannot get them rotated without paying? I guess when I need new tires, I will not be using Les Schwab anymore. Dissapointed Big Time!!
