This company is the worst. When we first started with them we had extremely poor reception for both TV and Internet. They sent out a technician to take care of the problem. He spent half of the day doing what I dont know, he surely didnt know. He came back to our door late in the afternoon and said he thought he might have figured our problem out, stating he replace the cable to the apartment complex. He sure did, it was run on the ground across the sidewalk and through the flower beds and hooked up to the complex.He never checked to see if it helped but said to let the office know if we had any more issues. Sure did! Nothing was fixed, but we had a new cable strewn all over with rocks laying on it to keep it down. I called the next day and the woman on the phone sounded perturbed when I told her nothing had changed, but we now had a cable running across the ground for anyone or anything to trip over. She told me that the technician told her it was fixed and an above ground line was okay. Need I say more. it finally got fixed, and I say that lightly because their service sucks still but nothing we can do but pay over One hundred a month for slow internet connections and poor TV reception.

After living in a small town in Eastern Washington (Chelan Falls) population 250, where our service was $34.00 for 50 X 6 internet and unlimited data, I was shocked at the price and service of Coast Communications. I have never seen such a scam. Internet is low, which is all I purchase from them. I use a Google Nexus phone with a AT&T plan with no contract. I usually tether my phone to my computer whenever I need a reliable connection. Speed is 16 X 3 with my phone (3 times faster than Coast.) I pay $60.00 a month for 6GB data unlimited phone, text, in US, Canada, and Mexico. As long as you are not watching movies, etc. 6GB goes a long way. I can surf the internet, check e-mail, etc. and hardly use any data at all. I use gotomypc to connect to my home and let my computer there do the heavy lifting. Just a tip! No roaming charges in any of the countries for data as well.Am seriously thinking about soliciting private investors to start up a better service. There is power in numbers.

VERY disappointing! Painfully slow, crashes often. Evening hours are the worst as the internet bottlenecks as everyone forced to use Coast on the peninsula is online at the same time. The worst part is that this is a Monopoly! You are forced to use Coast or have nothing at all as they have the whole of Ocean Shores locked down and blocks competition. Finally, their packages have limited data usage. As if we are on a cell phone plan, we have limited data or receive significant charges for overages. This is an archaic practice as many companies provide unlimited data for all users. Comcast and CenturyLink DSL for examples. Even though I am very disappointed and limited with Coasts services, Kim is an awesome customer service person! Ask for her if you want help!

Absolutely terrible. They are horrible and rude people who dont solve or dont know how to solve any problems you may have. If you actually know anything about computers, routers, modems, Ethernet, and the likes then you can kick out their lies and expose them for being monopolist scammers. Their internet claims to be 6 mb/s but its usually around 4. The prices? Horrible overpriced for a company that is government funded and I know they are. If you ask them how much they pay for their internet they give you a blank refusing to answer because we pay nothing stare. Id switch to Century Link; a service offered in some of Ocean Shores. Unfortunately it doesnt reach where I live so im stuck with this crappy company.

If you want to watch the Mariners baseball games, or Seattle Sounders or Portland Timbers soccer matches, youd better get another t.v. provider. Coast Communications stopped carrying Root Sports NW without much if any notice to its customers. They increased their rates and eliminated carrying Root Sports at about the same time. There are a lot of Mariner fans in Ocean Shores who will be in for a rude awakening come opening day and they find the games arent carried by Coast Communications anymore. Comcast, you would do the residents of the North Coast of Washington a huge favor by buying out Coast Communications and providing us with decent service.

VERY expensive if you buy into the high bandwidth data plans, which you basically need if you download any amount of data. Netflix buffers constantly in the evenings. Century link is a joke, so theres really no viable competition in the area. I wish Comcast would either buy them out or start service here and get us onto unlimited data plans. They would make a killing out here as subscribers would drop CC like a hot rock. Ive spoken to Comcast and they told me theyre blocked from doing business in OS. Not sure what the real story is...

A terrible company. Coasts internet and phone service is slow and overpriced. Since they have a near monopoly in the Ocean Shores Washington area their attitude is: "Is I dont care." They are rude, dont return phone calls and if you visit the office management refuses to talk to you. They are are hated by most in the community. They bill you for 6MBps service and youll never get over 4.9. Their website says: Our customer will always come first." but the reality is that like their 6MBps Internet service speed its a lie

The front desk people have always treated me with kindness . We have lived here for many years and the internet / tv service is worse than ever . Internet slows down so bad at times you cant even get online . Not good when your running a business . Even have tried at 2 am to get online still even worse ! Have upgraded wireless box still no change . Tv service blanks out and tiles constantly . Hope we can sell our home and move soon .Cant take it anymore !

Internet is awful! It is constantly slowing down or stopping completely. If you call the tech. support you get told that there are "outages" in your area. There may be data caps in which they start slowing things down, but we are only here about a weekend a month, so I cant see how we could be reaching the limit. We were thinking about moving our business to OS but we dont feel like we can depend on Coast to supply reliable internet.

as a long time customer 10+ years, this has to be one of the worst services I have ever been robbed for. Pay for 6 down and 2 up. Well right now I am getting 0.60 down and .010 up. You can get half your bandwidth from 2-3am usually. Dont plan on streaming anything, or for that matter surfing the web. I wish there was another choice. Might have to move to SAT. So frusterating.

Service was generally good for a couple of years but has been going downhill lately. More outages for TV and internet. And without any warning Root Sports, the channel of the Seattle Mariners was dropped. I had to call and ask why I wasnt getting the Mariners games. Bars in Ocean Shores have switched to satellite to get the games. I may do the same.
