I visited this business in April of this year. They did a full brake job on the front and rear of my vehicle. Within a short time of this repair I found myself on the side of the freeway a long distance from home. I had to have my vehicle towed back to Olympia as the wheels were locked up and the vehicle could not move. When the vehicle was inspected it was found that a caliper bolt had come off allowing the caliper free movement until it lodged,causing the wheels to lock up. The incident caused me significant fear as I cannot imagine what would have happened had I not pulled off the freeway before the wheels locked. The expense for towing and repair amounted to almost $500, only slightly less than I had paid them for the brake work. I took the towing and repair bills to Menieke, asking that I be compensated for the expenses. The repair clearly explained to them what had caused the problem with my vehicle. After weeks of calls and even signing a release resolving them of further responsibility, they kept putting off sending a check. To this date, they have never reimbursed me. I am sorely disappointed in their response and am considering legal action against them. I would strongly recommend against having any work done in their shop!!!

I really wanted to like this place. They are next door to my favorite bookstore and across the street from the best coffee shop in town. I wouldnt mind having an excuse to go downtown, get a cup of coffee, and peruse the bookstore once every couple of months. But I was very disappointed with my first experience, which will also be my last. To start with, I requested their "preferred oil change" package, which was supposed to include synthetic blend oil, a 35-point inspection, and a tire rotation. After waiting for an hour-and-a-half (which was way to long for a scheduled oil change) I discovered that they had given me the basic oil change with regular oil and no tire rotation. Additionally, there was no report from the "35-point inspection." In addition to all of this, the staff was unprofessional in their presentation and the front office was a mess. While I cant speak directly to their automotive abilities, their inability to deal with the small things of business has lost me as a customer.

I had an appointment for an oil change. One and a half hours later I asked the new young man there why my car was sitting there for half an hour with no one working on it. He said he changed the oil but didnt have time to do the other things. He was working on 4 cars at the same time. The paper he gave me said I needed a new belt but refused service. He never said that to me. I had a new belt and adjuster put a year ago, but not there. I wont go back. I have been going there for three years and spent a few $$$ there, I wont go back now. He spoke to me like a sassy teenage boy talks to his mother. Other people were grumbling about service and lack of communication. Bad move losing Brian.

I come to this place, on a Saturday mind you, so this is NOT how Id like to be spending my time. Anyhow, I need new catalytic converters installed. The guy quotes me a price and ordered the parts to come in. This is at 9am mind you. They estimate the work to be done by 2pm. So I literally wait all afternoon for the parts to arrive. Then when they arrive, two hours late, theyre THE WRONG PARTS! So they part my car back together with the same faulty parts and Im on my way..... I consider myself a pretty understanding person, but this is inexcusable and unfathomable. I will NEVER EVER waste my time with this place again. I suggest others dont as well.

I called before going to Meineke and was told there was no wait. After arriving I waited over 3 hours and still nothing was done, not even a full diagnosis of what was wrong with my car. To me it is very disrespectful and rude to waste someones time, so I cannot recommend taking your car here. They seemed understaffed and unable to handle the workload. For example, customers who came in for oil changes were told it would take 1.5 hours.

We go there for everything that isnt covered under our cars warranties. They are honest and fair, not many car repair places you can say that about! I refer co-workers and friends and they have been fair and honest with all of them. They will tell you what really needs to be repaired or replaced and what can wait. Helps you to budget car repairs and plan for what needs to be done. Highly recommend!!!

I made an appointment to have my oil changed and dropped my car off early. They had a cancelation and were able to finish it much earlier. One of my tires was low on air and they got it inflated properly. They also checked over the vehicle, let me know of any concerns and logged them into the system so that they could check on them on the next oil change. Service at the desk was great.

Highly recommend! The manager, Bryan, is an outstanding guy. He went above & beyond for me - more than once - in some really difficult circumstances dealing with my daughters vehicle. Carl was super helpful as well - these guys look out for your better interest. Pity the fool who uses someone else!
