Went to this storage place to ask about a parking spot for a vehicle .The elderly lady at the counter was snappy right away with me telling me how busy she was and to come back in 15 minutes .I told her no problem that I could wait .I only asked two simple questions about the spots and she got short with me telling me she couldnt talk anymore .I left that place and will never return. I came in as a potential customer willing to pay the high price of 140 dollars a month for a parking spot and was treated like I was bothering them and they were doing me a favor.This place must have plenty of buisiness and could care less about customer service .That is about the worst treatment I have ever had at any storage place a very sad situation.I will not recommend this place to anyone ,.It is also in a really bad part of town and I would be very worried about safety of my vehicle at that place.

Having lived in NYC for over 25 years where customer service is at its very best I have to say it was the very worst. My reservation for a 10 by 20 unit was not to be found. When I asked the employee, she wouldnt give me her name, to please look again, no nothing is what she said. I made a call to confirm the reservation and she, the employee looked on the computer and found the reservation. She was nasty and rude. I will never do business when the service is for the employee and not the customer.

I have enjoyed dealing with the friendly staff at Des Moines Way Self Storage. Carol and Janice are both kind and easy to deal with. In the 4 years that I have been storing items, I have found the facility to be dry, safe and secure. The cost of storing items long term at this facility are reasonable compared to other units, which I have used. I highly recommend Des Moines Way Self Storage for all your storage needs.
