Update: After reading my original post below, the upper management met me at the office of the storage facility and asked if they could move me to another storage locker, slightly larger, for the same cost. I accepted their offer. They also offered to give me some boxes, but that wasnt until after I had already gone and bought boxes to put our stuff in, because they had originally told me they would not give me boxes. They also said that this new storage locker had wire fencing across the top, but it did not. We accepted the unit anyways on the condition they would fix that issue asap. Mr. King (the upper management personnel) was very pleasant to deal with, and honestly made it to where I agreed to amend this review. I do wish they would have offered me these two things when I had originally asked for them this morning when I called the office. Customer service goes along way with getting good reviews! So my updated rating is going from a 0 star to a 3 star. Not because of what they ended up offering me to compensate for the flooded unit, but because I should not have had to write a negative review in the first place to get the customer service I deserved in this situation. Original Post: If I could give this facility a 0, I would. First we had issue with our unit not having a proper shutting door or lighting. They fixed that only after I pointed it out to them that it was a problem. Then it took me over a month to get them to secure the top of the storage facility where they had removed the wired fencing to do remodeling. Took me 2 visits and a phone call to get it done. I then returned to the unit yesterday to find that a pipe had burst over top of our unit and flooded our unit. Boxes and some of the contents ruined. Items ruined were memorabilia items worth $$. Management refuses to replace any of it. They wont even give us new boxes to repack the items that didnt get damaged! Stating that since we have home owners insurance, and chose not to pay extra for their insurance, they dont have to pay for anything! Weve only had the storage locker for 2 months, and all of this has happened in that short amount of time. There are plenty of other storage facilities in Federal Way, go someplace else.

My Husband and I are so happy with how amazing the new staff have been with transitioning from the previous owner. The remodel looks amazing and the new units are so clean and secure! Rickie has been the biggest help to us so far with having to move units so they can finish the remodel. The office is clean with modern decor and a comfy sitting area! The bathroom is also very clean, well stocked and is very handicap accessible! The website is also extremely easy to navigate and understand, but if you need help someone is there to answer any of your questions! I would definitely recommend Daffodil Storage Federal Way to my friends, family and anyone on the street!

Cheryl @ Daffodil Storage was great when we signed up for storage. She was so friendly and helpful. We used their truck to move in on Labor Day and the office was closed but Cheryl came in the morning and at closing to handle the keys. Having the truck to move in during Labor Day was a life saver!
