Weve been going to them for 25 years since our next door neighbor recommended them and theyre amazing. The first time another shop had a huge list of expensive "must do" fixes. They said that half were completely unnecessary, and indeed they were. And they fixed the rest for a far lower cost. They never overcharge, never do more than the car needs, always come up with creative solutions, and are great at preventive maintenance. Weve gone to them for Toyotas and Nissans, but they also do a great job with domestic cars, like Ford pickups of friends. We tend to drive our cars until theyre 20 years or more, even 25 years, and Foreign Car Workshop keeps them running, fixes problems before they get bad, gives us reliable transportation that saves us huge amount of money, because if theyve looked at our cars and done whats needed, we can drive them with confidence instead of having to get newer ones. Just the nicest people as well. I started out with Ryans father, Perry, who had the original business. Truly the best of a family operation, and I feel lucky to have them in West Seattle.

These guys are just awesome! I had an electrical issue a while back that I couldnt quite get a grasp of. I went to Ryan and told him I was tired of fooling with it ....just shot gun the electrical ....new alternator..new regulator ect...I gave him permission to do several hundred dollars worth of repairs on what I had convinced myself was some sort of intermittent short in the electrical system. He discovered that the trunk light was not turning off because the latch was worn...so he unscrewed and remove the bulb......when I asked him what I owed him..... he told me not to worry about it...no charge!

I wrote a long review on Yelp so Ill keep this one simple. I trust these guys. Like the other reviews say, you can tell that its family owned. But more than that, I felt at ease. I was using Jiffy Lube before coming here -- called them to get an estimate for B1 service for my car. They told me it would start around $450. Called Foreign Car Workshop and received a $154 quote. Better pricing, better feeling. I highly recommend Ryan and his team.

I recently went to foreign car workshop to get my Toyota Tacoma serviced. Seemed simple enough and it was quite so. Staff is friendly and inviting. There is something to be said about the feel of a local family owned business. They treat you like family right? Price was in line with the market so absolutely fair- I like supporting local businesses and If your looking for honest advice and get treated like family, they are at the top of my list.

Foreign Car Workshop services my Acura, GMC, Toyota and Chevrolet. If they would work on my motorcycle Id let them do that too. Ryan cares about cars and customer service. Danica is always professional and courteous. The shop has been there 40 years for a reason, and I think its the way the family takes care of business. Glad there is such a resource in West Seattle.

I have been going here for almost a decade and I wont go anywhere else. Chris has always worked on my vehicle. Shes a 2001 and shes been so amazing. Hes so honest and kind, its very much like having family help with your car. Everyone there is so nice. I cant say enough good things. Having a dependable mechanic that you trust is so valuable.
