***************** WARNING, WILL GET RIPPED OFF***************** Made an 8:00 AM appointment for a diagnostic and smog check. Upon arrival the service technician or manager took my vehicle in very swiftly. Was told it would be about an hour or less wait time, no problem, I came prepared with my homework. On occasion he asked what I studied, I digress. Approaching 180 minutes later, sitting in a very cozy ice box (showroom), I was finally summoned to hear of new discoveries on the diagnostic. After being told that I had to pay for new oxygen sensors to pass a smog, I was surprised of that, and more surprised of paying $925 for 4 new sensors on a 13 year old vehicle. Once I declined, the manager generated an invoice for the diagnostic of $180...??? Since when did a diagnostic or smog check cost almost double the amount as opposed to Joes shop down the road. So out come the discount cards, Im a student, wearing college memorabilia, vehicle has a university sticker on the back, AND he knew I was working on my college homework. With that in mind, I asked for a student discount, his utter response was, "let me see" and followed by "looks like we do have a student discount". Why not offer that in the first place. After reading all the bogus reviews of great customer service, why was my visit not as phenomenal? The bottom line is why was I mistreated differently or perceived that way? Why did I have to fish for a discount, given a false hope of a promised wait time when no other customer were there on what was a simple plug and play electronic device, and why did I leave that shop with such disgust? With one to many strikes against this shop from myself, Im obviously not taking my business here or recommending my tremendous network of friends here indefinitely. On what was and should have been routine for these trusted experts, felt like I was at backyard garage and on the other end of a good morning.

Scott Sherman Auto Care is amazing! Its rare to find an honest mechanic that conducts his business with the highest level of integrity. I know nothing about cars and to completely trust their recommendations and prices give me complete confidence. I know I dont need to shop around for pricing or second opinions because I have found the perfect place to take our cars. I purchased the life-time oil change and have gotten new breaks and repair work done on my cars over the past 3 years with them and have sent about 10 friends to them, knowing that they will be taken care of with the same level of service that I received. Im glad I found my life-time auto repair and service team for our cars.

We started using Scott Sherman within the last year to install aftermarket rear leaf springs on our new Nissan NV2500s we use in our fleet. Jeremy & Chris are both always very helpful when it comes to scheduling & getting work done when they say it will be done. Having one of our guys out of his service van is always difficult with any type of repair, but the guys at Scott Sherman sure make it a lot easier on my end & do great work. You cant beat the warranty either!

I love SSAC! Ive been taking my car there for 3+ years and theyve done everything on my car from oil changes to 60,000-mile servicing to brand new tires. They always get the work done on time and for often less than the estimated cost. Its wonderful to have an honest, reliable auto repair shop that has my best interests in mind. Cant recommend them highly enough!

Ive had two recent car emergencies (anti-lock brake system malfunction and a destroyed tire from a bad Halloween prank) and both times the service I received was better than exceptional. As a plus they did their best to keep prices low and still give quality service. I plan to send everyone I know here and I know theyll receive top notch service.

I hate cars and going to get my car fixed is like going to get a tooth pulled. However! I love working with the fine folks at scottshermanautocare. They are super friendly, fun and make car repair and maintenance easy to understand. They really go out of their way to provide stellar service at great prices.

I was in a bind. I had no headlights and didnt know why. Scott Sherman managed to squeeze me in even though I made a mistake about which of their two shops I was going to. The service I received was great. Id gladly go back again.

Suggested a complete transmission and clutch replacement, I took it to another shop that fixed it for 1/5 the price. Also: dont give them your e-mail, youll go on a list that you CANNOT unsubscribe from. Avoid this place.
