I dont know how else to describe my experience with this business other than being completely flabbergasted by their behavior. I arrived at this location to access my familys storage unit and found that the keypad for their front gate wasnt functioning. So I called the number on the posted sign to get assistance. The lady on the phone was unhelpful and unpleasant. She directed me to the "RV entrance." I wasnt sure where that was so I asked and was met with a bunch of sarcasm and an odd tone of hostility. She told me something along the lines of "If you have a unit here then you should know how to get in." I didnt comment on that but then later on she said something like "I dont want to see you try to tailgate someone else that has a code." At that point told her I thought her attitude was unacceptable. Why are we paying this much money for a storage unit if the second time we even access the facility is met with disrespect and sarcasm. I later went into the office to let them know we wanted to end service with their business and to talk to a manager. The manager told me "Sir, usually when people drive they pay attention to their surroundings." I couldnt believe that even the manager such an unwarranted and poor behavior. I even hit record on my phone before I went into the office and documented the interaction. Long story short, from the first point of contact and then later the manager, I found their behavior to be incredibly unacceptable and would never recommend this business. What was meant to be a quick trip to grab some stuff out of our unit turned into an incredibly terrible interaction.

This company bought the storage center where Ive had stuff stored for several months. I randomly got a letter in the mail in May, with money orders Id sent for payments from February thru April, stating that they couldnt cash them, as they were made out to the previous owner and that Id have to send new payments. I went thru the hassle of canceling the money orders (waiting for the refund, too), and then sent them all the payments AGAIN, along with the next months payment. I also made sure to get something in writing that my rate of $50/month would stay the same through the end of 2016. Well, I just got a letter that now is asking for an extra $5 for all those months and that that payment Id sent went toward those overcharges and that I now OWE them another $20 to be caught up, because now Im apparently late because of this. I call to make a payment over the phone and cant do the automated payment, because I have no code (thanks for the heads up on that National Storage Centers), so I call customer service and try to make one there, but they will only take a payment for the "past due amount" plus a $3 fee (which jumped to $3.95 in the next sentence), but I cant make the entire payment for July, too, because they can only do the past due amount. But when she runs my card, suddenly the fact that its past due, makes it impossible for them to process the payment. Now I have to wait until tomorrow to call again and hopefully make and entire $75 payment, otherwise theyll cancel my contract and sell my stuff. Long story short, this company is awful, go someplace else.

Unfortunately, when I went to see the storage space the woman working there told me she couldnt leave the office. How do you rent a a space without seeing it? Well, the answer for me is, you dont! Also, their website needs to be updated. The website has the wrong price for spaces and they dont have a truck anymore. I rented a unit at another place and got the first month free. The manager where I got the Extra space was super helpful and had no problem leaving the office to show me the space.

Had a unit here for about 3 years. Clean start, no water/humidity anywhere, very good drainage. Not 24 hour accessible. Found one dead mouse when I moved out.
