Sadly, I have to give Public Storage a poor rating. I have rented a large space from them for 10 months. I paid via auto pay every month. The unit was expensive-over 300.00 a month. Service was generally good until 5/20. I moved most of my unit items out of town. I left a few items and took the lock to swap with another unit we were renting. Upon return a week later, I found that they rented it the next day to someone else!!!! What!!!! Im paid through 6/1 and had no intention of giving it up. The Manager said they have people leave in the middle of the night all the time and have the right to rent it out. My contract says I have to give 2 days notice and trust me, if I were late to pay, they have severe remedies. In this case, I did not give notice, I was paid in full for 12 more days and had no intention of leaving and they rented it ( with my garden art in it) to someone else. They did not try to call me, email me or send a letter. Nope, they just rented it 12 hours later. Terrible Terrible Terrible!!! Will not do business with them ever again!

My mother rented a storage space at this location and my personal experience with this Public Storage has been great. The units are clean, with easy access. The price for storage is very reasonable. To me, aside from a clean place to store personal items, it is important to like the person who you must deal with. I found Kristel to be courteous, kind and very willing to help with anything. Her demeanor is always warm and friendly. One day as I arrived, she had just locked the door and was leaving for a lunch break. I needed help with an issue and instead of telling me she was now on a lunch break, she unlocked the door and let me in with a smile. I had lost a receipt and she took the time to look up the receipt. I never felt rushed, and she kept a good attitude. Wow! How often does that happen? I would definitely recommend this location to anyone.

I rented a storage unit at this facility for short term storage. Amazingly, the reduced fee for the first month applied even though I was only planning to use the unit for one month. The people on the telephone and the facility manager, Kristel, were very helpful. Kristel showed me to the unit which was clean, dry and ready to use. Shed even put a lock on the door for me. I had a couple of questions over the next few days and Kristel was available, knowledgeable and patient. The only problem I encountered was that I could not find anyplace capable of making an extra key for the type of lock they sell. I recommend this business without reservation.

This Public Storage in Lake Oswego is very convenient for us. Were keeping a storage unit for 6 months or so while were making the transition from selling to purchasing a home. Great access hours. User friendly. Clean facility. Alyssa showed us a few different sizes of units so we could settle on the appropriate size. She was very attentive, patient, very personable. We came back another day to do the paperwork for the unit. This time Kristal did the honors. Again quite personable, efficient, attentive. Great customer service. Wonderful people to work with. A great experience. Thank you.

Dec 1,2013. Discovered I had a water leak in my storage unit. Kristal suggested I transfer to another unit, She showed me a nice unit in a well lit area, sure do like those skylights, they help a lot. What makes them so nice, is, you dont have to turn the timer on to get to your unit, even when it is dreary and raining, like today. She was so efficient, made it quick and easy. I decided to go ahead and buy the lock she sells, they are very nice. This is my second review on Kristal and PS, but she sure deserves it. It has been a pleasure having her there. Thanks, Lana Vance

Our unit was damaged, by water. We had purchased the ins, however with more than $4000 worth of damage, the ins. Is paying out less than half of what it will cost to replace these items. The pay out wont even cover 2 of the items, that were damaged and HAVE to be replaced. 1 being a mattress that was covered in mold, from the water and the 2nd was a TV that costs double what they want to pay. Those are not the only 2 items that were damaged. How am I suppose to replace anything when they dont pay fair market value?? Would not recommend this storage or the ins. Coverage.

The staff was great. We got the unit we needed and easy access plus the staff assisted us in getting everything we needed. The only problem with this place is that it is hard to find. There needs to be a sign up on State St. My GPS told me that I had arrived at the location but since it cant be seen from the road when traveling north, I didnt see it and drove right by. I then had to turn around, go past it heading south (which is when I finally saw it) and turn around again to pull in to the driveway.

My Experience was friendly. Kristel was very nice. I have had my account for Four years now. She has no hesitation to find a good bargain on a storage unit for YOU.and what you can afford. I feel safe there. You can go there to get your stuff or stuff your stuff from 6am to 9pm. They have moving supplies and I like the disc shaped locks too. You can take care of the rent automatically from your account. no suprises, no BS.I like that. Easy!

A received a price that was far lower than the next closest storage company, so I started off pleased with that. The girl that sold us our boxes was really great...asked a lot of questions to know what we would be putting in our space and acted like she cared about our business.

Not too much different than any other storage place. The prices are comparable, the people are nice enough and its a good experience. They do have the deal where your rent is a $1, which is a good deal. If its near where you live I would think it would be a good choice.

I am not sure who is accepting the calls for this place. If it is a corporate calling center you should request more training. The guy I spoke with was extremely rude and condescending, and he helped me make the decision to go elsewhere.

Was only here a short time but during that time I got top notch service. Calls about bills I forgot to pay before late fees etc... The location is horrible, but the service alone is enough for 5 stars. The unit I had worked great.

I only needed a small (5ft x 10ft) space, but everywhere I checked only had larger, more expensive spaces for rent. I was able to get the smaller size here and its actually the closest to my business, so its the most convenient.
