saving you a trip and money! if Unfriendly service, rip off, and untrustworthness is your thing, go here. I think the reviews are fake. Before you get ripped off read this. it seems that they are used to people getting ripped off because as soon as I walked in I asked for an oil change and a simple question to see if they could take a peak at my oil cap to see if it has any moisture buildup and if its something I should look into for a diagnostic to further see if its a bigger problem. I guess I shouldnt of asked that question because the cashier Sarah was firm and telling me its $111+ dollars for a diagnostic test and acting very agitated. They wanted to charge me over $100 dollars just to look at the cap? She went to get the manager Calvin Poisson and he came up to me without me able to ask him my question and said "its $111+ whats your name and the year of the vehicle. I told him and then he said its 111 to look at it and with a uninteresting agitated tone asked me if i wanted to have it looked at or not? i said not after the way i was treated. i am looking for a good place to have work done on my vehicle and to build a trusting relationship with a business but i left there disappointed. I called another place who has great reviews as well and didnt mention the fiasco at #PrecisionTuneAutoCare I asked him the same question and he said no problem and he would look at my oil cap no charge no problem. Will not do service with Precision Tune Auto Careless

I went into this shop complaining of a problem that I know how to repair but simply didnt have the time to do it and figuring that since Im going to sell the vehicle it would be better to have documentation of any repairs. Not only did they not perform the requested repair but they told me I needed multiple other repairs. I assumed other issues might be found once it was dissassembled but REALLY? So I picked up my vehicle with an extra $800 on my bill and still had to take it back for THE SAME REASON I went there in the first place. Now another $300 in parts, $100 in labor, later for a simple assembly that $78 worth of parts, and maybe 1-2hrs could have fixed, and with upgraded aftermarket parts. After an intense conversation with the manager I still had to pay a full bill and nothing was said even though my previous paperwork stated my request for what to be repaired. It was on paper.. right there.. we both read it. Ill admit the people there did seem genuinly friendly but I seriously question their mechanics credentials and judgement.

I wish there was a way to rate less than one star... My girlfriend got a groupon for this place. When we brought her car in, we were told that it would be 2 hours until it was ready. That seemed a little strange to me. There were a couple other cars there, but nothing that struck me as 2 hours worth of work. We decided to wait since we were out and about. We had her 2 year old with us so we tried killing time at some of the other local stores. When we came back after 2 hours they hadnt even started her car yet. We ended up waiting for four hours. When we did finally get her car back, it was the last one in the shop and they were closing the doors. It certainly looked like they just put her car off til the end of the day. Thats crappy service to begin with, but just plain wrong to do to a couple with a 2 year old. I will NEVER go back to this place and I hope that other people stay away as well.

These guys are a rip off. I did an online quote for a head gasket replacement, got a quote for something like $1700 and said it would be honored by precision tune. I called the shop, they quoted me $2664. Its double the amout. So i decided to look at the break down, first thing i see are the head gaskets. They are charging me $389 for the gaskets.... they sell for $89.00 retail and online. So i thought maybe it includes labor...nope the next few charges down showed labor at $1250. I dono, it does not seem right to me. Im not asking for free but im also not asking to be ripped off.

I used a groupon that I had bought for an oil change and AC recharge. They were very personable and kind from the beginning to the end. I was aware that my AC recharge would probably not work to fix my AC but they still continued to try it and not only once but twice and then took the time to figure out what could be wrong. They explained their services and I didnt walk out having to pay for any extra hidden costs and I was very satisfied with their service and will continue to go to them for my auto needs. I would recommend them to anyone.

A number of months ago I went to another business for a quick repair. They told me I needed a complete set of rear breaks. I did not think it was needed so while having an Oil Change this time one of your technicians checked on them. His report back to me was one of seeing no need to replace or even repair the existing breaks. This was a $800 savings as thats what the other company wanted to "fix" them. So yes very pleased with the service and honesty. Also the lady in the office was very pleasant and prompt with the paperwork.

I went in to find out the cost of a tune up. "$400-$600" the guy says...I was a bit stunned. But I realized that gone are the $125 tuneups. BUt what got me is he said "If you bring it in on a fri-sat or sun, those are my busy days and while the mechanic is waiting for parts, he can be working on another vehicle. If you come at the slow times, you pay for his waiting" Thats why I didnt go back. At leas he was honest about screwing people.

When I called, the front desk lady was very friendly and answered all of my questions. When I arrived, she helped me quickly and my car was taken care of immediately. They explained everything that was going to be done and when they werent able to do a particular repair, they did not charge me. I was even given suggestions on cheaper places to go to to get other repairs done, which surprised me. I appreciated their honesty, though.

Ive brought my vehicles here for over 12 years and am always impressed with their professionalism, reliable work and honesty. Theyve done everything for me from looking over a car I was interested in buying to putting on new breaks to maintenance. I referred my husband and my Mom as well and theyre as impressed as I am. The staff at Precision Tune treat their customers like family and Im blessed to know them. Thanks Calvin!

"Calvin and Hobbs" would do a better job working on cars; this guys a joke. Non-existant customer service, shoddy work (that Calvin refuses to stand-behind) and a VERY poor selection of parts made our $400 tune-up cost us another $300 to get done correctly elsewhere. If this shop wasnt on the corner of Andresen and Fourth Plain it would be out of business. I guess its true, location, location, location.
