Second time Ive taken my car here and they are WAY to over priced (learned my lesson) But the second time I took my car there I was told I had a bad valve and for the labor cost and to send the head off I was quoted $2500! So I priced around at some other shops in the area with the information I was given by T and P Auto and got a quote for $1600 to resurface my valves at Terrys Auto by the way, and they went through the labor work to take off the head and send it off. The machine shop called the next day and said there was absolutely NOTHING wrong with my valves so the shop had to waste more time putting the head back on and then had to look for the actual problem, mean while I had to pay $50 to T and P Auto for a WRONG diagnostic. When it was all said and done, Terrys Auto found the problem....my spark plug was sticking a half inch out and was pretty gunked up...they replaced all spark plugs and my cars runs good as new! In my opinion thats like the basics and should have been checked first. Im glad I decided to look around at other shops instead of paying $2500 out of pocket for something that wasnt even wrong with my car. I will NEVER take my car back to T and P Auto and will never recommend them to anyone!

DO NOT GO HERE - EVEN IF YOURE DESPERATE TO GET YOUR CAR FIXED. This place over charges for everything! We asked the lady at the front desk to have The techs check out a noise coming from under the car specifically felt like a brake problem. She told us that the problem wasnt the brakes but the entire transmission was dead and would cost $2500 for a rebuild. I honestly couldnt believe this because the car only has 79k miles on it and its a 2005. So I took it to TK automotive by four corners... He found the solution within 5 minutes.... SURPRISE IT WASNT THE TRANSMISSION.... It was a lose bolt under our passenger tire..... He FIXED AND REINSPECTED THE CAR FOR FREE.... He told us the tranny was fine and the car is good.... Guess what the NOISE WENT AWAY.... TP AUTOMOTIVE IS A SOLUTION TO GET RIPPED OFF.... DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE...

I would give them a negative star if I could. I have a car only running on 2 of the 4 cylinders. Ive checked all the basics myself and just didnt have the time to work on it at the moment so I took it to t&p automotive in yelm after a month of the car being there only for diognostics they said it needed a new ecu and quoted me $1600 for the repairs. I found a brand new ecu for $125 and installed it myself and it still didnt run correctly. And when I went to go pick up the car they said it was all ready to go. I got there and everything was still all disconnected so I spent about an hour putting the car back together and still had to pay them for their wrong diognosis,and a car that still doesnt run, I wouldnt recommend this place to my worst enemy!

I was having some electrical issues in my old Dodge. I was sure they were capable fixing it, but I was worried at what cost it would take to do so. Much to my surprise, I was quoted far less than what I had thought to get the job done. They even had the necessary parts on site. After my car was done, I made sure to have my mechanic buddy look at it just to double check. He said that he couldn’t tell a difference between their work and the way it looks after it’s made in the factory. Glad I came to TP Automotive.

We started using T & P back in October of 2010. We love having our vehicles serviced by them. They are a smal shop with a great attention to detail. We have experienced some unfortuante circumstances with other larger shops and T & P always comes through to save us. We are very statified customers and will continue to bring our vehicles there to be serviced.

Now that my warranty is up on my car, I bring my Range Rover here and they do a great job! They are honest, hardworking and friendly not to mention 1/3 of the price that the dealership charges for the exact same tires. Totally worth the drive no matter where you are coming from.
