Joe, Dan, and Brandon where awesome! They arrived a few minutes early, and they got to work right away. I appreciated their professionalism! They have the process down. They did a walk through before starting to ask about any special instructions. Another walk through after the job was done to make sure nothing was missed. They did a great job explaining the process, and took great care of our possessions. They must be master tetris players, because the truck was packed perfectly! They even brought plastic wrap, and used our furniture pads to secure bulky and fragile items (Furniture, TV, Large Picture Frames, Etc). We helped them carry to reduce our overall time, but they definitely took the initiative, and made our experience as simple as possible! I moved out of town and wish I could have used You Move Me to unload. We ended up using another company on Uhauls list of preferred vendors. Comparing against "You Move Me" , the other company was horrible and the difference was night and day! "The other guys" sent 1 guy, and a lazy 15 year old kid who could barely lift anything. They couldnt navigate bulky items through door frames, dragged fragile things. They were avoiding the heavy lifting at all costs, so I had to remind them multiple times, that is what we hired them for! I highly recommend Joe, Dan, and Brandon. If I ever move back to the area, I will ask for them by name!

YOU MOVE ME was the absolute worst experience Ive had. Im a disabled older, single person who bought their sales pitch. They showed up with no moving equipment at all! They chipped my stair railing because they were hand lifting a refrigerator instead of bringing and using dollies. They take much more time moving things this way then using the proper equipment. They lost my bed castor and charged me extra time going to look for it and they never found it. I paid almost an addtional $300 because they were so completely unprofessional, ill equipped and frankly incompetent. Ive made my complaints known and if they had taken even one step to make this right, I wouldnt be writing this. They told me theyd place everything in the appropriate room and instead they dumped everything just inside the front door where I couldnt get at anything. They never apologized and in fact charged me almost $300 additional for the move. This company if the worst of the worst. They find every way possible to add to your bill, they do damage and give no compensation. Sad way to do business.

We had a bit of a last minute emergency when the moving company we planned on using stopped responding. With barely a week before our closing You Move Me was able to save the day. The phone staff was courteous and quickly responded to any questions I threw their way. On the day of the move an ice storm hit the area and we offered to let them reschedule. Not only did they keep their appointment, but showed up with an extra person to help with the move free of charge! We planned on only having them move the heavy items and furniture. However, they were so quick and efficient that we ended up having them move more than we planned. The moving team was just as courteous as the phone staff. Top notch. They took great care with our belongings and with our house. They put down ground tarps from the truck to our front door so their feet would stay dry and not track snow and ice over our wood floors. Nothing was damaged and they finished an hour faster than estimated, even with all the extra boxes we had them handle. Amazing team, highly recommended.

Used this location to move a 1 bedroom apartment from Madison to Milwaukee. They took almost 8 hours to move 2 bookcases, 2 dressers, a bed with mattress and box spring, two end tables, a small couch, a coffee table, a small dining table and a few other items. I received an estimate prior to the move, and moved items personally between the estimate and the move date, but they still charged me way more than the estimate they provided. There was much less in the apartment for them to move than there was at the estimate, so that is unacceptable. I was also told on the day of the move, not at the estimate, that since the items were fiberboard (from Ikea) they were not covered for damage that may occur during the move. Had I known that, I would not have booked this company. Furthermore, they damaged the floor and walls in my apartment and I have yet to hear back about how they plan to compensate for that damage. The Madison office is impossible to get a hold of and did not contact us with move details; we had to call them. Stay away!

We had a terrible experience with U Move Me for an in-town move last week, in particular with their response when we reported that our TV was damaged in the move. After the move, the base of our two-year-old TV was extremely unstable (TV bent back and forth at nearly 90 degrees) and the sound no longer functioned. I called the company to tell about this and was told that the general manager, Matt, would come out to fix the TV or assess where to send it to be fixed. When Matt arrived, he quickly looked to see that the TV wasnt physically cracked or broken and told me that they werent liable and wouldnt fix it. They lied about what they covered in order to make sure that we didnt physically break the TV and try to rip them off (which we would have never done). I would absolutely not recommend this company to others planning moves in the future.

We had a huge move ahead of us and at this point in our lives we had acquired two 26 foot trucks worth of belongings. Family and friends were thrilled to hear that we had hired You Move Me!!! These guys are great! They showed up on time! They were all in clean uniforms! They worked quickly and didnt complain about anything being too heavy. We were so happy to tip them because they had made our move into our New Home an absolute pleasure!!! If we ever move again, You Move Me will be who we call! Adam was so easy to communicate with and he organized a smooth move for us. Our Family and Friends sat back and enjoyed celebrating our new home instead of needing a week of Chiropractic Treatments and Messages. Us too! Thank you Adam and all the Men from You Move Me!

We had to move at the end of October and had to move items not only from our apartment but also a couple of items (including a chair) that were in storage at a different location. You Move Me was there at our apartment to pack up our apartment promptly at the time that was set. It was decided that the actual move would be the next day and we were still able to use our apartment until the next day. We set a later time so that the new condo we were moving into could be cleaned properly. The move went smoothly and we totally moved in with enough time to do some of our unpacking. You Move Me did such an excellent job that we used them again a few weeks later to move items that a friend of my wifes was giving her. I would highly recommend them for your next move.
