I have waited for 2 months to write this review as I was waiting to see if my car was going to have transmission issues, if I needed to file a lawsuit, and to cool off a bit. in late Dec. I had my wife take our Subaru in for an oil change and the transmission fluid had been partially drained. I found out as my wife called me in a panic 5 miles from when she left Meineke as she was stuck at a traffic light and the transmission would not engage. After getting the car back to Meineke the manager tried to lie to my wife and took no responsibility for what happened. He stated that there must have been an issue prior to getting to them. I left work and met this manager in person. I know a bit about mechanics and confronted the manager. He again tried to deny any responsibility and said that he changed the oil again after my wife returned and in looking for the problem they did accidentally drain out some of the transmission fluid. The manager did agree to fix the problem and thought I should be grateful that they werent going to charge me. I dont have an issue with mistakes, but I do have an issue with liars. If they would have taken responsibility for the mistake and fixed it, I would be more than happy to trust them again with my car. But the tech. who changed the oil and removed the trans. fluid lied and let my wife leave the shop in a car that could and did break down, and the shop manager obviously leads by example because he lied to my wife first and then tried to pull off an even bigger and ridiculous lie to me. There is no integrity here and these people put my wife in danger to try and save face. I called the corporate office but all that they wanted to do is throw coupons at me. I told them that I didnt need discounts to a place that I wont be back to, ever. Thats like getting discount tickets to getting your ass kicked!

I scheduled an appointment online for 5pm. The shop closes at 5:30. I get there and they do not have me in the system. Oh well, maybe I messed up. The worker inside said, "that is ok, we will take you." As I am waiting outside this person comes up to me (turns out to be the owner) and said that we are not showing my appointment and that they are done for the day. I told him the worker inside said he will take us. He said, "he did?" Then proceeded to tell me all appointments booked come to him and showed me I am not listed, he told me the system does not allow an option to book a 5pm appointment (it does, try it yourself Steve) and then questioned if I booked the right Meineke. I get there are computer issues and even user error, but his "careless attitude", the fact he reversed what one of his employees promised their customer they would do and the fact they had no customers waiting with 30 minutes left before closing but still refused to do the service are signs demonstrating that as his customer, I did not matter. I said that is fine, I will take my business elsewhere in which his response was "that is fine with me". Perhaps he is normally a great guy and I caught him at the end of a long/bad day, but it was a poor representation of a great Meineke brand. Feel free to go there but I expect more and will not be going there again. I wish I remembered his name but I do appreciate the employee that tried to provide the experience I am used to at Meineke - thanks for offering to do the oil change, you get a 5 star review.

They only get one star because there was no option for no stars. I dropped my car off for an oil change and was told it would be 30-45 minutes. I told the gentleman I was going to run across the street to the outlet malls and Id be right back. I came back about an hour and half later to find my car parked in the exact same spot, in their parking lot, directly in front of the garage. The gentleman that previously helped me, came to the desk, asked my name, grabbed my keys that lay on the counter in front of me and walked out to my car without saying anything. After a few minutes, another gentleman came out and told me they hadnt done my car. He said "...we didnt see your car so we forgot about it." Really?! Thats how this shop operates? The waiting list is visual? They create a visual waiting list based on cars they see drive in? There is no computer system where you input the customer information to ensure everyone is being serviced, in the order they arrived and within the time frame they quote the customers? He did offer to move my car into the bay immediately and change my oil. Of course I respectfully declined and took my car elsewhere. If you plan on taking your car here, I suggest parking directly in front of one of the bays and sitting in your car until they service it for you, this will ensure they dont "forget" about you because they "couldnt see your car."

I came in on short notice when the place opened after panicking the previous day because my car was making grinding noises. They went ahead and took in my car. Not only did they explain what was wrong, but the mechanic took me into the "basement" and showed me the half-shaft that was leaking. They also offered to break off a plastic piece in front of the wheel for free since it was causing weird sounds I was also worried about. Since I had to work, they gave me a free loaner car and sent me on my way. While I was at work, they finished my car in a few hours, and left a voicemail notifying me. I finished work, brought back the loaner, paid, and went on my way.

The guys here were great, they squeezed me in for a last minute service, I felt comfortable with them as for being honest (you never know when it comes to automotive work) they ran the codes on my check engine light, and affected for me to come back anytime for a free deeper inspection to get to the root cause. what I am most happy about is they didnt harass me to buy anything else, you know how shops always say you need a new air filter, cabin filter, tires are old, blinker fluid is low,(lol) etc. The prices were fair, and I felt confident to take my trip after their service. Ill definitely be a customer of theirs going forward.

Excellent & honest service. I had taken my Ford F150 across the street and paid for work that was not done at Mobile 1. If you do not go to Meineke Anthem whatever you do please STAY away from Mobile 1. You have been warned. Steve and the team at Meineke Anthem completed the work that Mobile 1 did not do and for a more than competetive price. I have referred several neighbors to Meineke Anthem and they have all been more than satisfied. Steve has a small following that will sometimes just come by to say hello or share a cup of coffee with him. That speaks volumes. Thank You Steve.
