DO NOT HIRE! If i could give them zero stars I would.I had hired them to do a checkup and a clean out of a backup that our tenant was having in a rental property we have in Glendale. At first they tried cleaning out the backup using a snake to unclog the drainage. After unsuccessfully trying to unclog the drainage they recommended using a camera to see what was causing the blockage. I agreed without hesitation to have them go in to and use a camera to see where and what was causing the blockage. To make a long story short the plumbing tech claimed that the he believed that A bush i had in the front yard had gone into the plumbing and the roots had gotten into the system. He recommended that I needed the front of my yard excavated and I needed new piping and a outside access installed. The price they quoted me was a little under $4000.00. I live out of state and i had to fly out in order to have other estimates for the repair. The other companies i had called all said that It was hard for them to give a proper estimate since Robins plumbing never marked where the problem area was. I had to call Robins plumbing back in order to have them show me (since they claimed) that they had put a marking when they originally came out. When the plumber came out to the property again he pointed and said that he had sprayed underneath the bush leaves as a marking. There was no marking or spraying visible. So he ended up putting a real marking upon his second visit. I ended up hiring another company to come out to do the repair. Surprise! Surprise!. There was no roots in the system. And the repair of piping was not really needed. All it needed was a better drain cleaning. The trip from Chicago to Phoenix Arizona ended up costing me thousands of dollars. I personally believe they was trying to scam me for unneeded repair work. I would not recommend them to anyone EVER!. Side note having worked for google in the past. One way to spot fake reviews is by the lack of other reviews for other businesses and lack of activity on accounts! A response to there response! As you can see from the tone and the attitude of there response. It shows how unprofessional they are as a company and as management goes. I am lucky i was able to find A HONEST! and qualified plumber to do the work on my property. As far as my tenant being without water? Sadly they was without water for the days needed to find another plumber. How ever I did at my own cost provide them with a hotel stay to help the situation. My biggest problem with them is the lying and as you can see from there reply the attitude. I did not pay them to assume what the problem was for the plumbing. I payed them to find the problem and not to guess work, and guessing that the problem is root-age that have gotten into the pipes. As far as the stoppage that could not be cleared out? The plumber i ended up hiring actually said he would have been able, or another company would have been able to clear out the blockage if it was done correctly. On top of that as you can read from there reply, No they did not spend hours trying to fix or provide information. If they was not sure what was causing the blockage they should have told me that instead of trying to do not needed work. But let there own reply show you what type of company you would be hiring. As far as this being the only review i have left? This is the only time I have ever felt a need to leave a negative review to any company. And due to your response prepare for other negative feedback on other sites! Another Response to there Response. I am a educated professional, who never tends to leave negative A negative review for any type of business. I have homes rental both in California and Arizona. The reason i hired them in the first place is because of there "reviews" online. I am 100% truthful in my statement. And what the owner forgets to mention one of the golden rules in working in customer service is not to inflame a customer. It is a BAD Company. My response never changed!

I was dreading calling a plumber for some drainage problems my triplex was having so I went and bought industrial drain liquid and a 25 auger/plumbing snake to try to clear it myself. When I finally gave up and realized I needed a professional, I called a company close to me but they couldnt come until the next day and the drains were overflowing NOW. I went back online and decided to go by ratings so i called Robins. They certainly lived up to the ratings theyve acquired. They advised me there was an after hours emergency fee but if I really needed someone tonight - which I did - theyd send a technician out ASAP. True to their word he was there in 45 minutes and worked hard for the next 2 hours, not including cleanup and quality checks, which were extensive. Even with the emergency fee I think the rates for the work done were reasonable enough to really regret screwing around with it myself. I will always always always call on them in the future and highly recommend them to anyone who could use their expertise, even if its just to avoid the hassle and frustration of TRYING to do it yourself. Excellent response time, excellent service, excellent communication so I always knew what was happening, just all-over excellence. Thank you guys

Brian at Robins Plumbing saved the day - I should have called him before wasting hours and money trying to solve the issue myself. I had a shower valve that would slow to a trickle on the hot side, and the cartridge needed to be replaced. I was able to loosen and pull the old cartridge but the plastic sleeve of the cartridge remained stuck inside the valve. I tried everything (or so I thought), and after watching numerous YouTube videos (which revealed that this was a common Moen issue on that generation of faucets) and going to several hardware, automotive, plumbing stores to find something that would help me remove the remnants of the old cartridge, I gave in and called. Brian came out and had it working within about 30 minutes (hed seen the problem before, and made quick work of it). I wasnt charged for parts, as he was able to use the replacement cartridge I had purchased, and the price was super reasonable (especially considering the time I had wasted, to no avail). Brian had a great attitude, and I cannot think of a single thing more I would have hoped for in the experience (he even got along with my renters dogs). If youre pretty handy, like I am, and you get stuck - dont waste your time... call these guys!

Our home is 27 years old, and our bathroom fixtures have never been changed. We wanted to replace the commodes with high efficiency Toto commodes, replace our bathroom faucets, and replace our shower faucet cartridge. We also wanted to put in a NUVO H2O soft water system. After checking on google for a local plumber that was licensed and bonded, we checked the state registrar of contractors, and the Better Business Bureau. We took bids, and felt that Robins Plumbing offered the best price, along with an A+ rating with the BBB, and also no unresolved issues with the state registrar of contractors. Chris did the installation work, and did a very professional job. It took a little over 7 hours to complete the work, and then Chris checked it twice for proper completion and function. Chris then reviewed the work with us to make sure it met our satisfaction, and it definitely did. He made sure we understood how all of the new fixtures and water softener functioned, and demonstrated all of the new work. Finally he did his clean up, and left everything in good shape. I will use Robins Plumbing for my next plumbing job, and will be referring them to my friends.
