I have been here a few times now, but wont go back again. 1.) The $25 massage special they advertise was awful, my lower back was hyper extended for most of it, and after the 3rd time of asking for a pillow for my lower back, I finally got one. Then they had the nerve to tell me my lower back was tight when it got massaged. 2.) I got a gel manicure done twice. The second time I got a French manicure. One nail broke the next day, no big deal, but I didnt even make it to the 2 week mark when 3 more fell apart. I went in to have them re done, and the nail tech told me my one nail was too short, so she wouldnt do a French manicure, that I should have just regular polish. Correct me if I am wrong, but arent I the one paying for a service here? I have never heard of nails being too short for a french manicure. I asked for the gels taken off and left. I went to Nails of the World over on Baseline and 51st Ave, S/E corner by the Safeway and paid less than what I would have paid at Laveen Nails and got what I wanted. And guess what? My really one really short nail looks just fine.

June 4, 2012 was my first visit to the Laveen Nails and Day Spa. The only service I had was a pedicure. I appreciated the variety of services they have to offer. The Pedicure packages ranged from $22-$45 and included things like callus remover, sugar scrubs, cucumber lotion massage, hot wax treatment and the list goes on. The more services you want the higher the package price. I dont believe their prices were unreasonable. They are open unusually late (up to 9pm on certain days) this makes it very convenient! I was greeted by a pleasant receptionist. The Spa was very clean, soft lighting, the music/ sounds were very relaxing. I was fortunate to not have to wait. They used plastic linings in the tub. The nail technician I had was very friendly. I was offered a glass of water. She listened to me, to make sure that my needs were met. She was concerned with my comfort. I would definitely go back to the salon for a pedicure and Im likely to try out other services there as well.

Best full set acrylics EVER!! I went to Laveen Nails & Hair after an awful experience at another nail salon. The gentlemen in the front greeted me promptly and asked how he could help? I told him i wanted to remove the god awful acrylics i had and get a full new set. He sat me down to Tammy right away. She is so nice and took great care of me. The whole salon did as a matter of fact. Tammy was gentle, personable and made me feel right at home. I will never go to another salon again after finding this gold mine in Laveen. As for the other negative reviewes i can only say i obviously dont share the sentiment in regards to this salon. I also posted a picture of the beautiful job Tammy did on my nails. Please go for yourself and get your own experience as i did. For once i didnt listen to reviews and in this case im so happy i didnt. Thank you Laveen Nails & Hair Beauty Spa for making my salon experience a GREAT one!

Booked an appnt for 5 girls for wedding party/bachlorette girls night out. They were super friendly and all spoke English and did NOT talk to each other in a foreign language. They gushed over the bride to be and spent extra time on her mani/pedi. In addition to being so nice they did awesome work. My french manicure looks awesome the white line is perfect. The place is VERY clean & STERILE. All tools were autoclaved and they have the disposable liners in the pedi trays (very important). They also worked 1.5 hrs past closing to accommodate us. PRICES are good, not the cheapest, but very affordable $22 for pedi and $32 for mani/pedi combo. Met a regular patron in there who has tried all other nail salons in the area and she said this one was the best experience and work, hands-down. The decor/music/ambiance was pretty nice too.

My experience was the worst!!! They changed owners 3 days after I bought my fiancé a $400.00 gift certificate. When my fiancé went in there a week later they would not honor the gift certificate, due to the fact that they had changed owners! The name and phone number are still the same and what difference does it make if you changed owners, you are still liable for all the business debt or dues. Thats what happens when you take over a business!!!! They told me it was fraudulent and it wasnt worth anything there. Ive been buying GC here for years and never had no problem. How can someone spend that kind of money and it be worth nothing in a week. Im writing this post for my father.

When under the old ownership, the place was awesome. Very clean and lively. I went there a couple weeks back and their pedicure seats had bed bugs! I was bit three times. They tried to say it was a mosquito but the bites were in a straight line like the bites of bed bugs. I was horrified. The gal gave me some Chinese medicine oil to sooth the itch. I did not want to pay for the awful experience. What should have been a relaxing time turned into a nightmare. All the manager gave me was three stamps on the visit card they give out. Beware of this place. Its just not the same no more.

DO NOT GO HERE!! Being in Laveen, our options are limited. Ive tried them multiple times and its the same bad service. Long wait times, very bad customer service, very bad services. One time, they couldnt get my gel polish to stay, so they told me to come back the next day instead of fixing it. Another time, the nail tech was a smoker and had the nastiest nails. He tried to keep using his nasty nails to push my cuticles back. It may look nice at first glance, but unsanitary. Ill drive further before I go back again.

I have been going to Laveen Nails since it has opened. I have never had an issue with there services. If there was a nail tech who did not do a good job, Im sure the owner would have did something about it. However, if he doesnt know, he cant fix it. I would recommend Johnny he is the best. The other ladys due well also, I have just gotten used to his technique. The owners are very friendly as well as the techs. I have been to all salons around Laveen and they are the best.

Though the prices are above the other places in the area by a couple of dollars, it is sooo worth it! The staff are great and do a wonderful job. Most definitely the best pedicure I have ever had (Id recommend Amy-shes awesome!). They are very, VERY clean, and are the only salon to change a disposable tub liner after every pedicure. They do a great job with acrylics too, and will fix any messups before you leave. I absolutely recommend them!
