WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!! NEVER RECOMMENDING TO ANYONE! BEWARE THAT THEY WILL CONTINUE TO CHARGE YOU AND NEVER LET YOU OUT OF YOUR MEMBERSHIP! Mountainside Fitness Peoria has the absolute worst customer service I have ever seen. I have been trying to cancel my membership for over a year and have received nothing but the run around. I was sent an email to cancel, “that was never received “then I sent another cancellation via email again they somehow did “not receive”. At which point my husband went in to cancel in person. He spoke with the manager and explained that we were just trying to cancel our membership. After getting nothing but the run around because he was not the membership holder they canceled the membership or so they said! Again, nothing but lies and zero follow through. Now today they call me and stat that they are going to place my account in collections due to nonpayment. Yes, Wellsfargo blocked them from auto draft due to their inability to cancel the membership. A letter was sent to their corporate office revoking their rights to auto draft. Now still I owe another two months of fees. Mind you I have not used their facility in over a year and a half. The manager said sorry but I cannot do anything for you and if you do not pay I will just send the account to collections. So, sad as you can easily see I paid for 16 months without using the service you provide yet you cannot assist your customer “SCAMMERS”. Just sad that I paid this prior to my friend who is an attorney telling me they cannot legally demand payment after the letter was sent from my banking institution, since there was clear evidence that the balance was due to their inability to operate a business. I will ensure that there is follow through with the corporate office as well as the BBB and social media.

This is easily the most disappointing Google reviews I have ever had to write. Myself, wife, and 2 kids have been members here at MSF for two years. We have referred at least a dozen other friends and couples here who have signed up and are now regulars. One of the greatest appeals that MSF had was that it didnt have the generic commercial feel of LA Fitness or 24 Hour Fitness. Most of the staff knew us by name, and it was a very welcoming place to go. Recently things have been changing. The final straw for us came yesterday afternoon when out of the blue we received a email from Danielle Jarrett that they would be getting rid of the full basketball court. This was a pretty big blow to us seeing as myself and my 2 sons all play basketball here 3 times a week. It also doesnt take a lot of effort to read through your top Google reviews and realize that over half of them mention the full basketball court IN THEIR REVIEW! While the fact that the full court will be gone is disappointing, its more disappointing that they made this decision without AT ALL considering to see what their members thought. Thats not the same MSF that we signed up for and definitely not one we want to be a part of... Be warned if you are planning on signing up here that some of the amenities they use to draw you in may be gone in no time at all and you will have nothing to say about it.

5 star gym. 3 star customers. Cons: 1. recent redesign spreads common equipment all over the place and crams little patches of floor space in random places. To walk anywhere you have to walk through a maze of people and equipment. No exaggeration. 2. No pool. 3. Men treat lockeroom like their mom is going to clean up after them. 4. 50% Men dont wash hands after going to the bathroom, #1 or #2, then proceed to go lift weights. No joke, be warned, and this is typical in all gyms Ive gone to. Not just Mt side. CLEAN YOUR HANDS PEOPLE. lots of germs and deseases are spread through dirty hands. (Ive never seen a Mt. Side cleaning crew cleaning gym equipment, could happen on hours Im not there but Ive been there various times throughout various days.) Id see a staff member cleaning equipment daily at a budget gym I frequented. :-[ 5. Signs say "No bags" dude-bros still bring big bags and strew them around reserving equipment, marking their territory. Cliché will never die. Hoped men here would act more like men. 6. Bags, bags, everywhere a bag bag Pros: 1. Decent price, 2. convenient location/hours 3. lots of new equipment and lots of class 4. Huge kids club, kids love it. 5. Friendly staff

On January 17, 2014 my daughter and I joined Mountainside Fitness, Peoria AZ location. Being 80 years old with a body that has been totally out of alignment after major reconstructive shoulder surgery in 2012 I needed much help and a personal trainer. I am immensely fortunate that Brian Lawson of Core Concepts took me on. Already, after two months of twice a week half hour intensive training, my spirits are up, my body is getting stronger and more flexible, I am sleeping more soundly, hurting much less over all. Brian challenges me within the limits of my abilities, he knows human anatomy, Brian is thoughtful, knowledgeable, professional, funny and very supportive. When entering MSF one always is greeted with welcoming smiles and a warm salutation. The facility is impeccably clean and provides a wide variety of first-rate equipment. Indeed, joining MSF in Peoria and having found Brian Lawson are lightening up my life!

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. PERSONAL TRAINERS WONT CALL BACK. THEY HAVE A BUY OUT BUT THEN STILL WANT THE REMAINDER OF THE CONTRACT. LEFT SEVERAL MESSAGES AND NO CALL BACK OVER SEVERAL DAYS TIME. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE OR ABOUT THE PEOPLE THAT HAVE SUPPORTED THEM. GOD FORBID IF SOMETHING CHANGES IN YOUR LIFE AND YOU CAN NOT STAY COMMITED TO THE WHOLE YEAR. THEY STILL WANT THE TOTAL AMOUNT FOR THE YEAR. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE WHERE THEY UNDERSTAND LIFE HAPPENS AND THEY ACTUALLY CARE AND WILL CALL BACK OR ANSWER THE PHONE WHEN YOU CALL. WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS GYM TO ANYONE. PAID FOR 7 MONTHS ONLY USED IT FOR 13 OUT OF THE 70. THEY STILL WANT ANOTHER 938. RIP OFF. THIS IS AFTER IN JAN WE TOLD THEM OUR SITUATION OF NOT BEING IN TOWN. VERY CROOKED WAY TO DO BUSINESS

Good gym with a lot of equipment and plenty of space for all my needs. The only thing I wish they have, especially for the price, is a pool. They do have a rock wall and a basketball court inside, as well as a spinning room, lockers with showers, dry and steam saunas, separate areas for cardio and weights, and a standalone physical therapy place inside this location. They also provide towels, small ones for working out and large ones for showering. The showers have soap inside the stalls which is really nice. The steam sauna is overwhelmingly hot which is perfect for me. Staff keep to themselves. They do not have their hours posted on the front door and I keep going really close to closing time and end up getting turned away at the door.

LOVE this GYM!! Great classes, the workout equipment is up to date and love how the cardio equipment has TVs on each piece. The restrooms and locker rooms are always clean. The staff is very nice and friendly which makes you feel more welcome and at home. The child care facility is also great and the kids really enjoy going which also makes it easier to go to the gym when you have little ones. Again the classes are one of my favorite things!! There is such a wide variety of classes and you never get board because there is always something new to try or different :)
