After looking at dealer options extensively and being turned down more times than not due to cars old age, I decided to take my 1976 Mercedes 450 SLC to Mike. First major difference: He was excited to take it in and work on it! Car needed a lot of work. Im a classic car enthusiast and would consider myself "picky" when it comes down to mechanics and service in general. Mike delivered well beyond my hopes by 1. doing things in the right order (sounds basic but not that common), 2. always taking the time to walk you through what was found, what that means and how it can be dealt with. 3. Providing true quality work, at times craftmanship at a fair price. 4. Mike is very candid and appears very trustworthy. His car inspection is worth 3 times what he charges since he is logging everything he finds need attentiona dntells you how much it wpould cost to do, should you choose to: very empowering. This is where my car will be maintained from now on...

We absolutely love Mike and his shop!! We have had to take our 98 SL600 there a few times for work to be done and we have always found Mike to be very helpful, honest and willing to take the time to tell us what was wrong, what needed to be done, and he really does go the extra mile. Like I said we absolutely love this place and the owner and will never go anywhere else as long as they stay in business. Mike Schulte is an honest, knowledgeable and ethical business man. On a number of occasions, Mike had the opportunity to counsel us to repair and advised against it because the car was not worth the repairs. Despite opportunity to make a lot of money, Mike counseled us on strategies to get our moneys worth out of the car rather than incur costly and wasteful expense. His repairs (two vehicles) are top notch and good values.I will recommend his shop any time I have the opportunity.

Excellent Mechanics are hard to find! Mike is a Mercedes Guru... It is hard to find a shop you can trust! This is one place you can definitely count on - quality service at a reasonable price. Mike has taken care of both my husbands and my Mercedes for years now. He always stays within reasonable maintenance unless completely necessary and when it is going to cost more than what was planned he always calls to verify that we want to spend it. Extremely rude! I drive a tow truck and was about to unload a vehicle when a guy came out and started yelling and swearing at me saying I couldnt leave the f***ing car there because it doesnt run. I would never deal with a business that treats people like that!

Mike is a good mechanic, but he has his limits. I had to take my MB to another Mercedes shop to have a problem fixed that Mike was not able to repair. The other shop fixed the problem.
