Im all about being honest so this is it. I dont leave reviews often. I often set and hold high standards for those I do Business with for my hard earned money. With that being said, I hope this review is really taken into consideration for those who read it. (Let us also keep in mind I drive here from I-17 and the 101) My father sold cars for 20+ years and anyone in this industry will tell you that its a shady shady business. They will Rob you and screw you left and right if you dont know your stuff. Find people you can trust. Wilhelms is an honest company that truly cares. From the moment Luke answered the phone, I felt that he was not only personable and caring, but that he valued providing top notch customer service. I called without any warning or schedule and they still took my car in and made time for me the same day. Drew and Greg are both mechanics that work there who gave me honest feedback. They told me what really needed to be done and what didnt. They gave me options. They also always make sure to step in the office and see how Im doing. Wilhelms has earned my loyalt and I wont take my business anywhere else. Trustworthy affordable people with great caring attitudes. You found your shop.

Chris - the Manager, was very responsive to our needs. I had decided to go with a Bumblebee battery for our dying 07 Honda Civic Hybrid. Bumblebee Batteries only recommend ONE company in the Phoenix Metropolitan area to handle installation of their battery, and its Wilhelm Automotive; and for good reason, I believe. These guys have the process DOWN. The car was in-and-out within 2 hours, and runs beautifully now. The workmanship and care of the cars interior was flawless (like nothing even happened!). The cost to perform the work was very reasonable - and all told, I came away with a far superior battery than Honda was promising, and several hundred dollars to spare. If I had ONE piece of advice to Wilhelm and potential customers it would be to make sure the paperwork carries full details of the work done particularly Battery information (e.g. Battery make, Description, S/N), and Warranty information. I had been assured verbally that the batter carried a 3 year Warranty, but this was not documented. Chris had to email warranty terms upon request. I put it down as an innocent oversight, and no reflection on their integrity. Overall a great experience.

I have lived in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and moved to Arizona 6 years ago. Wilhelm is by far the best automotive repair and service center that I have ever worked with. I feel very comfortable trusting each of their recommendations. They are never pushy that you need X, Y, Z service but they are still proactive to tell you things you may look into down the road when it comes to service and care of your vehicle. I have never been able to feel this trust with any other auto shop or mechanic. While they do not do any body work, they are full service and will work with BMW, etc as well. My wife and her family drive BMW and have had shady experiences with Scottsdale BMW. They all now are really pleased with the service they get from Wilhelm. One time I had trouble changing my headlight bulb due to my fingers being too big...I pulled up to Wilhelm, and within 5 minutes they gladly put it in for me at no charge. They do all the little things that keep you as a customer for life even if you have to wait an extra day or two for an appointment. Bring your car here, you wont be disappointed.

First off I have time start by saying that I am brand new in town. I drove here from Minnesota in an old 97 Honda Accord. Two days after being here my car did not start up...it just made a click when I turned on the ignition. Of course I had to implore some serious stress management then I immediately searched Google and started reading reviews. Wilhelm Automotive had excellent reviews and Lukes name was mentioned a lot! So I called and Luke answered. Omg! I am beyond impressed with Everyone I encountered at Wilhelm. As it turns out it wasnt anything major but the service that I received, both over the phone and in person, was incredible. They all listened to me with genuine interest. I am definitely a lifetime client for as long as I live in Arizona...not Phoenix but ARIZONA! Thanks you guys! They also have a rewards/referral program...whoa..you cant beat that! I have already recommended them to my cousins that Im staying with!

I went in for a simple oil change, and made an appointment the day before to drop off my car for a couple hours. They asked me if I preferred to wait, or if I wanted to come back and I opted for coming back in a couple hours. The staff was super friendly and they were done an hour sooner than they had committed to. They answered all my questions, made it a point to tell me they had checked other areas of my car (engine, transmission oil, etc.). I know close to nothing about cars. I originally chose Wilhelm because theyre close to my house and I usually go anywhere thats convenient. But this time around, I honestly did feel safe, I felt they were honest, they made me feel comfortable and I didnt feel like they were trying to over sell me on services I didnt need. They did make suggestions for me to keep in mind and budget for-which I appreciated. I will definitely be coming back for future oil changes and any future car needs!

I was very impressed. Cherry and Luke acted like businesses used to, like I was their priority. They treated me like a long time customer even though it was my first time. Treated my issue as though it was as important to them as to me. Fit me in although they were very busy, just saying it might take a few hours so Cherry shuttled me home in a Prius to wait (Yes they work on Hybrids). Job was done in a couple hours and they came and picked me up. They checked my car over thoroughly. Luke wrote up a list of maintaiinence I need to get done over time, with an estimate for each and went over them with me to prioritize the needs. I lost the repair shop I had used for years and my car and I were looking for a home. I think we found it here. Price was very fair and itemized, very professional. Reward program is a plus and very nice.

I needed a new Toyota Prius Mechanic. We are usually a “go to the dealership” family since two of our cars are Hybrids. I needed some headlights fixed, and after talking to the dealership I realized that I might be in for some costly repairs. I decided to give Wilhelm Automotive a call. From the first phone call I felt like an appreciated friend. Chris recommended I bring my car in; it was all impeccable service from there. I ended up paying WAY less than I had planned, AND I got an a few more maintenance items done too! I am so excited to recommend Wilhelm to my friends and family. Thanks again Chris, Elicia and all the staff at Wilhelm. We are so happy to have found a great mechanic shop in the Arcadia Area. We will NOT be visiting the dealership anytime soon.
