DO NOT BRING YOUR CLOTHING HERE for dry cleaning because the General Manager’s method of Service Recovery is avoidance. I dropped off 8 items; one was a buttoned up polo I recently purchased for $125 , and shortly after I picked up my cloths, I noticed 2 of my shirts had sleeves ripped in identical locations. (See attached photos.) I contacted the General Manager Jerry, who supervises both locations on Shea and Frank Lloyd. After listening to my feedback via phone and WITHOUT seeing the shirts, Jerry insisted it was not a mechanical issue and that the rips in both shirts must have come from sitting in a chair. Jerry stated that I could come by the store but he leaves at 1pm every day. I stopped by the store at 740 am and front line staff stated the manager was present… only to return to the front counter a few moments later stating Jerry was “in a “meeting” offsite with the owner, and for me to leave my shirts, they will “fix them” and that “accidents happen”. I agree that accidents happen but I will not leave my shirts in possession of a store where the franchise owner, supports a Manager who will not appropriately interface with customer service issues and uses frontline teenage staff to resolve complaints above their pay grade. I asked the front counter person for the corporate number and for this reason they contacted Jerry on their cell. Repeating what Jerry said, the staff person responded “He says neither he nor the owner knows the corporate office number and you can GOOGLE it.” Overall this is a mere franchise ruining a corporate brand’s name. Save your money and take your clothing to businesses that will appropriately follow up, because the common scheme at Tide Dry Cleaners is they want you to drop off your ripped cloths so that they can patch them up with shoddy work after their machines have ruined it. Check out the yelp website for the Frank Lloyd location, there are similar reviews.

After being a loyal customer since they first opened years ago, I will no longer do business with them. They have accidentally given my orders to other clients. I am still missing an outfit that I dropped off several months ago. Last month, I dropped off a couple of sets of sheets and a duvet cover. I follow the status of my orders on the Tide Dry Cleaners App to see when it is complete and ready for pick-up. The duvet cover was not showing complete so I stopped in to check the status. After looking for it, they could not find it anywhere. I told them that the value was $300 for me to have to purchase a replacement. Ramona said she would talk to the owner. After following up a few times to get resolution, she finally called me. She said that me since they do not have it (even though it still showed as an undelivered item in their system) that I must have picked it up and therefore they are not offering anything to replace it or attempt to further track it down. They then closed out my order in their system. I was not an occasional dry cleaning client. I was there every week with orders to drop off and pick up and spent a lot of money with them. But this new low level of service and total lack of accountability from a huge Brand like Tide is surprising and unacceptable, and I have since taken my business elsewhere.

I dont write very many reviews, but in this case I felt I just had too. I go to Tide about once a week for my dry cleaning. They are the most convenient dry cleaners around, because I can pick up and drop off my clothes whenever I want. They never lose my collar stays, and they sew on any buttons that are either loose or have fallen off my shirt. Their customer service is also great. I give them 5 stars just for their every day effort. Last Saturday on 12/17 their GM Herm went so far out of his way to help me, I will be forever greatful. My sister was getting married on 12/18, and I had the task of taking my future brother in laws shirt to the dry cleaners. I forgot to do this the day before and I needed it done by 12/18 at 10AM. Herm made an exception understanding the circumstances, and got the shirt finished in 2-3 hours. Herm- I cant thank you enough for that favor. I always get great service there, but this was amazing. I will forever be recommending people to your store!!!

This location has changed ownership a few times. The past six months the service has deteriorated. You throw the young staff a curve ball, like replacing a button or two, and its like the request was never made. Twice I have had to drive 19 miles back to get it taken care of. Word of advice: Check your order and also make sure you have your Tide laundry bag with your order. Those young kids will be looking for a new job soon because this location may close of they cant take care of simple requests. The clothes do come out nice! Tonight, they get lowered to ONE star. For the third time in two months their kiosk system was down. I dont live around the corner from here so this is another inconvenience. The owner should look at selling his interest in this franchise before they take it away from him. Not worth the extra miles any longer.

The only place that Ive felt inclined to write a bad review for. I went there to get a suit dry cleaned. Upon picking it up, they thought they had lost it, resulting in a 15 minute wait. Then, when they found it, it looked like it hadnt been dry cleaned at all. So they said theyd do it again. I then dropped off another suit with it. When I came to pick them up again. I found that BOTH suits had been snagged. $1,500 dollars worth of suits down the drain because of poor workmanship. Then to accommodate this, they gave me FOURTY dollars of STORE CREDIT. To a place I wont go back to. Very disappointed and disgusted with the lack of professionalism at this place.

Very untrustworthy...beware! First time in my life that my drycleaner has lost items, and this place has lost two very expensive items within the past 6 months. They gave me a quick ticket when I dropped them off, but then didnt process the items into their system, so when things disappeared, there was no way to track what happened. The owner and manager will lie to avoid responsibility, and do nothing to remediate the problem. It is not even possible to track the error back to the staff that took my items because everyone works under the managers logon on the computer.

I hate to be "That Guy", but I actually read reviews before making local decisions. They gave my expensive suit to someone else!! Kinda makes that really expensive system of theirs seem pointless. Although Im giving them a VERY poor rating, I will say that the place was clean and the staff were polite and professional. Im sure this kinda thing only happens once in a blue moon, but it was my first and last experience with this business.
