College Hunks were great! Ive moved over 5 times in the last 10 years and have used a moving company each time. Each time I used a moving company the service was "ok" but definitely not a company I would recommend to friends. So...needless to say my expectations werent to high and just wanted to find a company to get the job done. Luckily about a week out from moving I saw a "College Hunks" truck driving down the road and immediately had a good first impression because of the nice trucks & branding of the company. I called up and the scheduling was very easy and quick. *Side Note: One of the managers (Mike I believe) called me up a few days before the move and politely informed me that there had been a mistake in the scheduling. He apologized, gave me a couple other options for the same day and for the inconvenience applied a discount to my bill. (This is Great Service which goes a long ways with me) The day of the move, the movers arrived early and also called up 30 min before arriving (Another Big Plus). When the movers they were in uniform, polite, professional and informed me of the process. Each piece of major furniture was wrapped in blankets for protection. It was mid-afternoon 110 degrees and they worked quickly and efficiently and never once complained about the heat or work. The final stage of the move was to move to a third story apartment. It was a very hard way to end the day taking all my items up 3 flights of stairs. Again, they completed the job remaining positive and professional. I would definitely recommend again.

I heard great things about College Hunks of Tempe moving so I called and booked them for my move. I ordered a 16 POD and a 16 moving truck for my move. Francisco called the day before and said theyd be here between 7-9am. At 7:30 they were knocking on my door and immediately began loading. They loaded the POD in no time and began loading the truck. As we were about half way through we realized the truck wasnt going to be big enough for all of our stuff. Francisco offered a couple of suggestions and after I tried those I realized my only hope was to find a bigger truck. Penske came through for me and we had to do the unthinkable.........unload the truck so I could go get a bigger one. They hustled and unloaded the truck and while I went to get the bigger truck they took their "lunch" break saving me an hours worth of labor. I came back with the bigger truck and Francisco and John were back at it. These guys actually were jogging while loading the truck as they realized I was now out more money for the truck.......no fault of theirs. They remained upbeat and positive throughout the entire loading process and never pressured me. They actually felt bad for my situation and tried to keep my spirits up. They loaded the truck and made a sweep of the house and garage to ensure they had everything. These two guys were rock stars...always upbeat, always hustling and very conscientious throughout the loading process. I would fully recommend College Hunks of Tempe! Job well done guys!!!!

First, the Relocation Specialist, Mike Neumayr, was exceedingly professional and helpful. Even while out of town, he accepted my phone calls, updated my move date, and sent me comfirmation all from an area with very spotty cell & internet service. Then, on the morning of my move, I recieved the 30 minute notification call as promised and, ON TIME, Brady and his team arrived. Like a well-oiled machine, they went to work. I grew up in the 70s with parents who were "house flippers," long before that term was ever coined. I lived in 6 homes before junior high school & since then have moved (by my rough estimate) at least 30 more times (across 4 states). This was, without a doubt my easiest move ever. Bradys team was positive, helpful, and focused. Every item was moved with the utmost care, as if it was their own. The unload was just as efficient and, now that all is unpacked, I can say not a single item was damage, scratched, or broken. That has NEVER happened in any of my other moves. Though I wish I could say this was my last move, I know thats not the case. But, what I do know, is I will never use another moving company. Please thank Mike, Brady, and all the guys who made this move my best ever.

First Id like to say thank you to Bill and Vinnie: THESE GUYS ROCK!!!! We lived in Gilbert, AZ and moved to Tempe, AZ. Every year we move in the summer and ask for the punishment in the sun. However this year we decided to make things easier we would use a service. After some searching and debating we decided to go with College Hunks Hauling Junk and Moving. Unsure of what to expect as this was our first assisted move we were EXTREMELY SURPRISED AND PLEASED with our decision. Bill and Vinnie worked amazingly well together and surpassed every expectation we had of them, including an amazing demeanor and sincere politeness. The move was thorough and quick with the help of these two professionals who know how to get serious jobs done. I will be recommending them to anyone I come in contact with and will continue to use them when needed. As a side note I was extremely impressed with their ability to be gentle with the fragile items. I will never move without these guys again!!!!!

I like the professionalism and courteous approach to making a stressful situation less stressful. I want to compliment Gaspar ( who called me on the morning ) and worked with Colby to arrange and have my experienced even less stressful knowing my situation. He was wonderful!!! I was so surprised and appreciative that he helped me out.. He called me back kept me up to date and ensured everything would be ok. I also got a 2nd chance to work with Colby and he is great too and very professional. His work ethics are fantastic and he worked with me completely to endure everything was done to my satisfaction. I also met Rudy and he was also just as supportive and receptive in working with us!!! I really appreciate your mission and even though you may not be the lowest cost, you display the highest regard for customer service and it shows... Please dont change!!! I am extremely disappointed with this service. I had moved and needed some items taken to Goodwill. There were also items we intended to place out for bulk trash. College Hunks asked if we would also like those junk items removed. We agreed to have them take these items but requested that several items NOT be removed. These were items needed for repair to the house before listing for sale, including 2 wood valances, a doorknob among other things. My husband was dealing with a carpet representative when they finished. He paid them, asked them if they got everything and if they left the items he asked them not to take. They said yes. Afterwards my husband discovered that they had indeed missed taking items they were asked to take and had taken everything there were asked NOT to take. And the cost for this service was over $600.
