On Monday October 4, 2010 I proceeded to come pick up my dry cleaning at Newport cleaners & laundry. I found 2 holes on my $300 B.C.B.G dress )which was only worn once) so I told the desk man and he called the manager out. The manager Khristy Bonham came out and claimed that the 2 holes on the dress were already there. This was highly unlikely due to the fact that Ive only worn the dress once and the girl working the desk the day I dropped it off even inspected it before taking it in. The note that was placed on the dress at the time it was dropped off also did not say that there was a hole in it but the note that was on it after said there was. This would mean that the hole was made while in the cleaning process. I told her it wouldve been ideal to have contacted me about the dress if she had noticed it. She had the audacity to tell me that if I wanted service like that I should have gone to a place that is more expensive. I ensured her that I was not looking for a refund, just that she would treat her future clients with a better quality service. I then asked "is that how you treat your clients?". Khristy Bonham responds " I get A**HOLES that bring in ruined clothes all the time" she then calls me an A**HOLE. I would never recommend this place to anyone but masochist nor will I ever come back. Their slogan "service that exceeds expectations" should be changed to "service that rips your clothes then cusses you out"

It is obvious any positive reviews written were written by the owner Christy or whatever her name is. I took in my daughters dress 2 years ago to have if ruined by stains on the neckline. Christy blamed my daughters deodorant. No stains by the the armholes but only the neck. She paid me $25 for the dress. She is an idiot. But not as stupid as me to go back earlier this month. I went to pick up 2 coats I left 10 days earlier and was told they couldnt be found. I then was pushed aside and told since there was a line she would have to look for it later. I called back the next day and was told they were found. Then when I got home Christy had left a nasty message that someone had picked them up and signed for them. she screamed into my phone WHYYYYYYY??? I immediatly called the store to find that they had given my coats to someone else by the same last name and had gotten them back. The woman is an idiot and I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone unless they want their clothes lost, ruined or double creased! She also had insuated that the place is cheap and you get what you pay for!

DONT USE THIS CLEANER. THEY WILL RUIN YOUR GARMENTS. They ruined my 100% back embroidery design Tommy Bahama shirt- I had owned it for over a year, had it drycleaned a few times with no issues. Took it in and they ruined it--the sleeves bled onto the shirt. I inquired how we would remedy the situation and they told me to take it back to the store. The drycleaner was not even availalbe and the associates told me she will call me. I waited for a week, went back there and she still wasnt there. The associates told me the same story. To this date, I have not received a courtesy phone call from them and it has been over 3 months. I decided not to pursue this because I just dont have the time but my advise, dont use this cleaner. They will ruin your garments and you will get no help!!!!

I HAVE BEEN TAKIN MY CLOTHS TO THIS CLEANERS FOR LITTLE OVER A YEAR AND THEY ARE THE IN MY OPINION ONE OF THE BEST I HAVE CAME ACROSS. THE EMPLOYESS THERE ARE VERY FRIENDLY AND THE OWNER KHRISTY IS VERY HELPFUL AND NICE. ITS NICE TO SEE AN OWNER WHO ACTUALLY COMES UP AND TALKS TO THE CUSTOMERS AND LETS HERSELF BE KNOWN. I HAVE DONE EVERYTHING THERE FROM MY HUSBAND LAUNDRY SHIRTS TO DRY CLEANING HIS SUITS AND THEM CLEANIN MY COMFORTER. THE ARE CHEAP FAST AND FRIENDLY. AND IF I DO HAVE A PROBLEM THERE IS NO PROBLEM WITH THEM CORRECTIN IT. IT IS KEPT CLEAN FOR BEIN A DRY CLEANIN WHICH I WAS ALSO IMPRESSED WITH. I AM ALWAYS GREETED WITH A SMILE AND OH YA WHO CAN FORGET THE CANDY SHE HAS OUT ;-) I STRONGLY RECOMMAND THIS CLEANERS. WHO CAN SAY NO TO A SMILE AND CANDY

If I could give it a Zero rating I would. The only nice part about this place is the staff is quite friendly. If you send your shirts to the Laundry, expect them to have more wrinkles in them then when you dropped them off. You show to the staff and they look as if you are speaking Alien when you show the creases are off as well as more wrinkled due to the way they place them in their bags. Sometimes convenience is the best. You definitely get what you pay for here - clothes you will need to re-iron!

Trust me, I used Delias cleaners here in phoenix for 9 years and have recently switched to Newport Cleaners. Kristi runs this place and it is a well oiled machine, quick, pleasant and helpful service that is always consistent. Dont worry about a coupon, Im spending 1/3 of what I used to with Delias and Im getting clothes that smell freshers, with faster service. Only cons are that I cannot drop off my own bag, and you must pre-pay - otherwise, I recommend them without hesitation!!!

I have taken my clothes there on multiple occasions and have never been satisfied with their work. One time I brought a pair of pants back that looked like they had not been cleaned or pressed and someone (I do not know her name) informed me that I should have put starch in my pants before I brought them there in the first place. I actually got in trouble? I have not been back since.

Called in asking for a quote on dry cleaning service for a comforter. Lady on the phone was very direct and obviously lacked customer service skills. I asked her if it was ok that the comforter had poly fill on the inside and her exact response was "What is that?" When I said ok thanks, she slammed the phone. No way am I risking taking my stuff here.

We have been going to Newport Cleaners since they opened. We had been frequenting another discount dry cleaners but found this one was closer to home and they did a much better job with our clothes. Many of the employees know us by name and are always friendly. Highly recommend this cleaners if you live in the area or drive by on your commute!

I have been coming here for years ! Love the staff! And the ladies in the back are so hard working ! I get all my clothes back super fast and almost always get all the stains out ! They so alterations, starch, and they even repair shoes !!! I got two of my heels done here. I love this place it is so hard to find a good Dry cleaners now n days.

Newport Cleaners is the best! The staff is great and they keep track of everything that comes in and out. Ive been a loyal customer since its been opened and I will remain one. The staff is very friendly and hardworking, every once in a while some stains wont come out but its reasonable because I dont expect my clothes to come out brand new.
