A while back, I had to trace a package sent from Amazon (which I never have problems with) and the item happened to be delivered the next day. Two days after that, the post office called saying the package was still on the east coast, the shipper generated a label but never gave the package to them so they werent at fault. When I told the person they delivered it two days prior, they had nothing to say. Same thing is happening again and Ive tried for two hours to get through to the Chino Hills Post Office to give them additional info they were requesting and the line has been constantly busy. I think they leave it off the hook. Between work and home, I ship and receive A LOT of packages and NEVER have a problem with UPS, Fed-ex or OnTrac, but USPS is constantly late or losing things. And with SmartPost, UPS or Fed-ex can get packages across the whole country in a day or two and deliver it to the local post office, who then takes five days to get it to my door. USPS is spending a fortune on their public relations campaign designed to make us believe theyve changed and they are now competent. What a joke! It takes more than a TV ad to do that. For decades, postal employees have become so unionized in their thinking, focusing on the minimum of work they need to do for the maximum compensation. They have no idea what "customer service" really is. To turn the USPS around, they would have to fire every employee from the archaic thinkers at the top on down and start fresh. If theres any doubt, watch a UPS driver deliver packages and then watch the postman.

I had an urgent package that was supposed to be delivered today. Its a part of a build I need for a client, whose order is due tomorrow. Well, of course, the shipper put signature required. I knew this and was at home awaiting the package by the front door. Its urgent, I cant have any delays since it requires testing before I can hand the build off to the customer. Well, the USPS driver flat out lied and never came to the door. No notice was left, although online tracking stated that there was. No knock, no ring, nothing. Just dropped off our normal mail in the box and drove off. I called USPS Redelivery, was on hold for 45 minutes, never got to speak to an agent. The online system did not work to submit a redelivery/hold order. So my package was in limbo--no notice, no recourse. Called the local USPS office, spoke to a pleasant young lady who assisted me and won the stars back for the office. It was not supposed to be available until tomorrow to pick-up, so I was in a whole mess of hot water, but she was able to locate the package and hold it for pick-up today. I despise that lazy *** driver that potentially ruined my weekend and my customers weekend, but she assisted me as far as she could. I could not go pick it up myself due to other work constraints that I had to get to after being home all day for no reason, but I have an agent on the way to pick it up and get this going. Thank you local office, screw you idiot driver.

Made an appointment for renewing passports. Waited 2 months. Got there 20 minutes before the appointment time. Long line. No sign what so ever if the passport service is in the building. Getting into the line would mean missing the appointment time. Went to a separate window on the side from the main counter just trying to ask where I go for passport renewal. The Indian lady worker got up set and yelled at me saying she is not supposed to help me. I explained what I am hear for and she told me to go to the last Window. Saw the long line again and worrying missing the appointment time. A lady in line nicely told me to just go to the door and knock on it. I went, there is a sign "Authorized Personal Only". Knocked, no on answered. Pushed the door slightly open and saw a waiting area inside with sofas. Confused. It is the passport service area and yet the door said personal only. Looked at the long line again and decided to go in. Sat there. After a short while, an Asian lady saw us and yelled at us saying we are not supposed to be there. I explained I had an appointment... I was wrong going in to a sitting area with the authorized personal only sign on the door but why do they even put the sign there if it is a passport service area for the publish. Dont go there if you want to renew passport. Go to city hall. That post office should be pushed out of business by truly private companies that respect people.

Zero star! A package from Amazon supposed to be delivered but never show up. No notice left in my mailbox nor door. Not until i check the status on Amazon, it say delivery attempted. Called, confirm redelivery the next day, nothing show up. No tracking status update. Called again the follow day, i was asked to wait till 5pm, nothing show up, no notice whatsoever. Called Amazon, they kind enough to ship a replacement. Same thing, attempted delivery, no reason given. The first package wasnt delivered because it says no safe place the leave the package, thats no true. They have been leaving package at front door. The replacement package that wasnt delivered which had a note to leave the package when they redeliver, guess what, no tracking up, nothing happen. I am guessing, the mail person doesnt want to carry the 62lbs package to 2nd floor and simply said delivery attempt. Both packaging show the attempts were around 9am to 10am, where my wife was at home. I will ask my neighbor to pull out recording to find out where mail person actually came. They might seat in the truck and scan the package and update the status as delivery attempted. Very disappointed with their services!

Two major complaints: 1. I live in a town home to give you a perspective. One day my neighbor rings my door bell and hands me a destroyed USPS "priority" package with an appology. Apparently, our package was left behind their garage door so when they opened the garage door and drove out they drove over our package. We told him that it was not their fault. Why would anyone leave a package behind a garage door is beyond me. To make matters worse, I called and also wrote emails to USPS, but never heard anything back from them. 2. I got the little orange card that I need to pick up a package at the post office. I work from 7 - 5:30 so I cannot make it out to the post office by 6. So, I took an early leave from work and went to the post office at exactly at 6:01. The person was closing the door when I ran in and told him that I really need to pick up the parcel because I cannot pick it up during the week due to work. He told me to come back on Sat. Hmmm... it was Monday that I went there. This is an important parcel that I need this week. This person had absolutely no sympathy for my circumstances. This is the epitome of poor service.

My family and small business moved from one location in Chino Hills to another residence in Chino Hills. I filled the official USPS forwarding mail documents and handed them to a supervisor in the Chino Hills post office. We have since had utility bills, credit card bills and new credit and bank debit cards to include incoming receivables for our business come up missing or returned UNDELIVERABLE. Electric service at our new address was shut off (once) and I am missing over 3 checks for my business, one being over $15,000.00. I have filed complaints as to the forwarding system and was told that it would be investigated and a call would be returned to me. 30 days later still no call from a supervisor, still no checks, my customer has not received it returned to them either. So, Dear USPS, when the internet takes over and there is no need for home mail delivery anymore, remember that it was your crappy service that put you out of business. The Pony Express was an awesome break through, but you are no longer needed. Bye-Bye and good ridden.
