Its very clean unlike some other storages including the restrooms, which is nice. Any concerns someone may have with a storage facility are not a problem here. The employees are trustworthy and always pays attention to who comes and goes so you never need to worry. Mark has always been great to have around and always helps out with any issue big or small. Hes saved me much stress on a few occasions I will not forget, and that is very appreciated. Not too long ago I was rushing to get done in my unit cause it was so hot out. Even though it was busy in the office that day Mark came out of the office to bring a couple bottles of ice cold water for me and my girlfriend. He always takes care of matters promptly and has gone far out of his way to help me a few times. Thanks Mark!I would not have a storage unit anywhere else.

i have to say this was one of the easiest duties of my entire household relocation project. Arriving 2 minutes before closing time, the only worker on duty, Mark, was knee deep in the middle of a phone call providing info to someone on the other end who asked all of my questions. I couldnt help but get the answers as I listened in. Before the end of his call, another customer slipped in behind me, and Mark just smiled. I found his positive attitude refreshing and uncommon. Im more accustomed to being shown the door at closing time but instead got the entire tour including the how-to extended version for dummies. There is only 1 place to store anything in the East Bay, and youall can rest now-cuz this is it!

As storage goes, it doesnt get any better than this. I finally moved out of storage after 13 years. I doubt anyone was there longer than I was. I chose the facility based on location, security and price. The response time for customer support over the years was immediate. The facility was a safe place for myself and my belongings. I closed the door to the unit, came back 13 years later and found everything as I left it. Aside from the modern facilities, Mark the manager is what makes this place shine. Most moves are short on time and high on stress. Having a courteous professional to work with makes all the difference. The Manager went above and beyond. If you are in Contra Costa, this is the place to go.

I have rented at several places over the years. I had to move my house in Concord due to personal issues. I have rented at another place in Concord and they kept hitting me with all kinds of fees and rude treatment. Made me feel like I was doing something wrong. I was driving by this place and stopped by on a whim. I asked about prices and other things and Peggy was eager to help me. The prices were pretty good. The property is spotless and the service is great. The 2nd time I went in to pay they remembered me, not common these days. When I finally had to move they pro rated my rent. Something the othe places would not do. I recommend this to anyone who needs storage.

It is an awesome place 1. Very Clean 2. Good Service 3. Very Save We used the facility for 13 month and we never had any problems or concerns. Our stuff was clean and dry at the time we got it back. My only concern at the beginning was the access times only to 7pm BUT we actually never had to access after 7pm so it was great. The online paying option was very convenient and good, i got an email every moth about the next payment. Very good. Mark is awesome! :) Thanks A1 for taking care of my stuff. Ill be happy to do business with you again!

I needed to rent storage space in hurry and Mark at A-1 Self Storage made it happen. I was in and out in under 15 minutes including a tour of the space and automatic payment paperwork. Ive rented 6 different spaces during the past 13 years in Concord, Pittsburg, Pleasant Hill, and Martinez. This was by far my best customer service experience. Add to this reasonable pricing and convenient access and one need look no further for a local storage solution than A-1 Self Storage.

I went to A-1 about a month ago to buy some moving boxes. The guy working there was very helpful. He showed me how to use the tabs on the boxes to keep them open while loading. He also saved me some money by suggesting I get two more boxes making me eligible for a discount. He then helped me out to the car with the boxes.

We have rented a storage space several times over the years. Peggy is always so helpful and very nice. I have referred quite a few people to A-1 storage and will continue to do so. The prices are fair and the grounds are very clean. The most important thing is that I feel that our belongings are safe.
