I honestly cant say enough about how awesome my experience was. The movers I hired were originally supposed to pick up my items to be stored around 3pm. 3 bacame 4, 4 became 530, In the end they didnt show until 615, well after the storage facility closed gate access. I let Kurt and Robie (resident managers) know about the delay ahead of time. They seemed to understand what a pain moving can be even when things are running on-time. They said they would come back and open up for me even if it was past closing when we arrived. Which they did almost an hour past closing. They then took the time to explain everyhting and advise me on safe storage practices (even helped with a mattress bag and moisture kit). they didnt try to rush me out, I felt like a valued customer that showed up during regular business hours. Kurt and Robie were so great it felt like I was dealing with family. Additionally the facility was very well kept, safe and easy to find. The prices are more than reasonable. I would recomend this location to anyone, even if its out of the way or a little more expensive, you cant put a price on the quality of service and friendly experience!

Want your stuff stolen? Wish I knew the truth about how the management has changed this year. I found out half my stuff was stolen when I went to my unit yesterday. Apparently theft is rampant and upper management could care less. If you want your stuff stolen, I highly recommend storing it here. I posted pictures of the blatantly broken into lock latch which management said did not in any way make them think there was an issue (besides the fact that the burglars left stuff hanging out under the door and management didnt think anything of that either.) They claim they walk the units almost everyday and yet it only took me one second to look at the damaged lock latch and know I had been robbed while it looked normal to them. I was told the police would need a subpoena to get video footage - clearly management doesnt care and does not want to help. They just want full units and are happy to rent to anyone even if they look like they might be a Thief. The great former managers left after saying there were 15 thefts in a few months due to corporate demanding they rent to anyone.

These guys are Just Fantastic. I Own a local Italian restaurant down the street from this facility and was in need of room for some old furniture and kitchen equipment while we had some changes going on. I wish i had known these guys from the beginning and came here right away. I used the other guys across the street from them and what a mistake.. a week or so Later I saw Stor-it and decided to stop by and check it out... Man, I wish i had Come here first because I had to go empty my Storage across the street and bring it over here,,, twice the job, But extremely worth it... clean spaces, great great Rates, professional people who run it Kurt and Robbi. We are now Friends and I am telling everyone about this place... If you have to store anything just head on down here they will take care of You!

By far, the best service you could ever expect from a storage unit. Kurt & Robie are kind and welcoming people, who made it clear that they want their renters to feel comfortable and confident renting from their facility. The grounds are very clean (my storage unit was freshly painted, which is part of their regular maintenance) and is noticeable upon arrival. There are ample moving carts on the grounds, which greatly helped me during unloading. A large concern of mine, was whether or not the facility was safe from break-ins, and after talking to Kurt, I felt confident that my belongings would be safe at their location. Again, extremely kind and welcoming people, clean grounds, safe and secure facility. Highly recommended.

I happened to stumble across Stor-it when I was searching on the Internet for best pricing. I didnt really believe how great the prices were! I went to my old storage unit and got a price from them. I decided to go to Stor-it to check it out. WOW! They have great spaces for extremely affordable pricing. On top of that, the managers, Robie and Kurt were SO nice and have a vision for the place that I agree with! They keep the place really clean, are very helpful, and know the meaning of customer service. I have an upstairs unit and its really simple to get to. I am ecstatic that I discovered Stor-It! I would and will recommend this storage facility until the cows come home!

Theyre the BEST!!! Ive worked in this neighbor hood & I know that it is constantly patrolled by police. Theres a bunch of other little businesses in the area so everyone keeps a good eye on the neighborhood. The staff is super friendly & helpfull! The facility is clean and someone is at the location most of the time. Even if the office is closed there is someone there to keep an eye & ear out. The fact that a lot of the storage unites are inside & up stairs makes it harder for someone to brake in & get away with anything. Ive had a few other storages and the vibe here is GREAT! Im pleased knowing my stuff is safe. *Thanks Guys!!!!

I have been storing in so ca for 30 years and I am a handy man and come highly recommended. I have seen a lot of management teams in the storage business but none that were quite sufficiently as Kurt and Robbie. I go in and out of my unit daily and I have seen the tasks that are being done at this facility. As I interact with Kurt I see that we have a lot of the same similarities regarding our work qualities. There has been lots of improvements to the facility over the last 5 mos. Kurt and Robbie have a great concern for other people and quick to see their needs are met. I would highly recommend them and this facility. Carl g

I have never had a need to utilize a storage unit until recently. I wasnt in that much of a hurry to find one so I was able to shop around a bit. Not only did Store-It Costa Mesa have the best rates, the couple that runs the place, Robie and Kurt Dembaugh, are probably the nicest and friendliest people you could ever hope to work with (there is no way they are from So Cal). The fact that they live on site probably speaks to how clean and orderly and secure everything is. I would highly recommend Store-It Costa Mesa to anyone and everyone!

GREAT RATES, BETTER SERVICE! These guys are awesome. I recently got married, so it was time to clear out some stuff from my tiny apartment to make room for marriage chapter of my life. Me and my wife had an great experience with Stor-It in Costa Mesa. Every single person we talked to on the staff was welcoming, and knowledgeable. This is my first experience using a storage facility, but I will tell you, we area not going anywhere else! We highly recommend Stor-It, we will be customers as long as we are living in so Cal!

YOULL LOVE THIS PLACE! Kurt & Robie have done wonders when it comes to customer service. They are alway accommodating to the customers needs. They both have always gone that "extra mile" to make for a very pleasant experience. They have many options of units to choose from and are happy to offer you the best most competitive prices available. No question they have great prices and sizes of units available - however, the deciding factor for me was their personable customer service.
