This place is a hidden gem in Gilroy. The office and their shop are impressively clean. And Arnold is more than just a business owner, hes become a friend I can rely on for any and all service needs for my 2015 Honda. I work right across from this place and the convenience of being able to have my car taken care of while I work is genuinely one of the best things in my life. Everybodys nice, their service is legit, their place is clean, the prices are more than reasonable (oil changes are way lower than the big name places here in town), what more could you ask for? I highly recommend this place. And it doesnt even matter what kind of car you have; one of the coolest things about working across the street is first hearing the type of classic cars, hot rods, and general monster type rides that show up for service. But then to actually see some of those beautiful rides is a treat too. Place is awesome.

Ive now been going to Gilroy Autoworks for approx a year. We have two Hondas and have had major and minor work done on both cars. Arnold and his team are amazing! I just have one thing to say. GO to Gilroy Autoworks!! You can trust them! GO!!! Ive been looking for a mechanic who knows Hondas and how to work on them for 7 years. Its great to have an option thats not a dealer. Gilroy Auto Works repairs and tunes up ALL cars even classics. There is no up selling like at the dealer or other mechanics in town. A native from Gilroy, Arnold is honest and does a great job. He has a vast knowledge of multiple models of cars. Hes been a mechanic for 20+ years. The shop is very clean. They will even help you with transportation if you need that service to drop off and pick up your car. Im telling all my friends and acquaintances about this place. I will definitely be back!

These guys are terrific. I was on a family road trip to LA when a "low on oil" warning unexpectedly flashed across my dashboard. I took the first exit off the freeway and googled "oil change," which brought me to Gilroy AutoWorks. They could not have been nicer when I explained the situation: They took care of me immediately, refilled the oil, checked that no leak was taking place and sent me back on the road after only charging me for the price of the oil itself. Just looking at the shop and talking to the guys a bit, you can just tell they know their stuff and take great pride in what they do. Grateful to have stumbled upon this place when I needed help.

Absolutely the best! The staff made the entire experience. They treat you as family from the minute you walk in, very friendly. I came in thinking a joint in my wheel was going out but they figured out it was something completely different and knew exactly what to do. They quoted me at least $150 cheap than other shops, and after the service I saved nearly $300 when they gave me the final receipt. I plan on taking all my business to them from now on and I will recommend them to everyone I know. Arnold is the man, knows what he is talking about and quick to fix it!

During the 5 years I’ve lived in Gilroy I’ve gone to several different auto shops. Each time I’ve left feeling less than satisfied. It difficult to find a good mechanic. A friend of mine found a new shop and had a good experience. I’ve since gone to Autoworks numerous times for a variety of services. The shop owner, Arnold is honest and trustworthy. I don’t think anyone enjoys taking cars in for service, but it has to be done. I’m happy that I have someone who I trust and know will provide quality work. I highly recommend Autoworks.

Arnold was super helpful with our situation with our vehicle. We had some issues with previous mechanics who werent honest with what was actually wrong. Arnold did a thorough check of everything and told us what was good to fix and what wasnt essential that visit. Hes super honest and he gave us a little off our total! They have very friendly and helpful staff here. I went to a different shop where a guy quoted me with well $1300 in repairs for my clutch slave and master system. The guys here fixed it for just over 1k. I literally saved hundreds by coming here and its good to know there are still honest people in this business.

We had low tire pressure while driving on highway so we stopped at the auto shop and have a check on the car. They checked the car, aired up the tire and reset the lower pressure light. It takes 5 minutes and everything is great!
