I can understand where people would find it irritating that the office moved to the absolute fringe of town, located off a long and desolate frontage road nowhere near civilization. I can understand and accept this however with the knowledge that this is a business, albeit a government business, but still a business. Its no secret that the postal service has been suffering dramatically since the obsolescence of the traditional letter and increased competition from the major private parcel carriers. Since people get up in arms over a 10-cent stamp increase, a business like this has no other choice than to do what it needs to reduce overhead and I assume rent is much cheaper in the middle of nowhere than it is in the center of town. So, until people become okay with paying a little more to send their holiday cards across the country, Im okay with having to put in a little more effort to get to the office when I need to. What I can say about this office is the staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful every time I go in. Often times Ill have questions that Im sure would be annoying, especially when its busy, and theyre always patient and helpful. I cant ask any more than that from a civil servant and a government operation. Im reserving a 5-star rating because I feel the only way to achieve that would be if they offered me a donut and beverage as I walk in.

Horrible and Rude customer service. I had gone there to send a mail with a return receipt / signature card sent back to my address after delivery. The agent at the counter would communicate only in few broken words rather than in a full sentence. I asked him the difference between different options listed at the board. He said return receipt option for pkg, no mail. So only can do Certified mail. After paying for certified mail, he said ull get signature confirmation.Confused, I asked again if the confirmation would be sent to my address. He seemed to get miffed and told me told u 3 times return receipt for pkg, u know a computer ? , u hv to type tracking number and see signature confirmation, pay extra for sending signature to house" I asked him to do the same and left the place. Question to USPS Customer Service Dept. - Though I do not think Ill ever want to go back to this location again , is this the service you expect to be provided? The agent getting miffed for asking him a question politely, when he himself is communicating in broken sentences and words.Morever on what rationale ,does he mock a customer if she knows what a computer is, especially when he is unaware that I am a Computer Engineer by profession !

If there were no stars to give this branch, I would give them a minus review. This is not only a terrible location, but the service is dreadful. My mail has not been delivered in two months, due to a dog in the neighborhood harassing (not biting) a postal carrier. This is not my dog and I live across the street and one house over. There are 5 other neighbors in the area surrounding the dog owners home who are not receiving mail either. The post office supervisor has not tried to remedy this situation in any way, and my neighbors and I have been treated in a cavalier and dismissive manner for the two months in which we have not received our mail. I understand that there is a danger from biting dogs, but the dog in question is a 10 lb mutt who is not even visible from where I live. My neighbors and I have to trek up that dreadful, potholed service road to pick up our mail, and there is no assurance that we will ever receive our mail. What ever happened to service? Rain or shine, sleet or hail? Haha

All post offices around the world are in the center of the communities. They give the conveniences for people who dont have cars, people who take buses or people who walk pass by . It is strange that Newbury Park Post office moved to give the services in the jungles. How could people who dont have cars go???? Climb up to the mountain and walk for long distance under the hot sun shine????? The people in Newbury Park community pay tax, they have the rights to get convenient services from Newbury Park Post office.Since Newbury Park post office moved so far away, People could not get convenient services. It is also difficult to find this Post office. When the communication is good,it pushes the businesses run fast. The communities will flourish. How about Newbury Park Post Office??? I d like to give minus . No star, so FARRRRRRRRRR !!!

It was announced that the reason for moving the PO from NP Road to where it is now was for the CONVENIENCE of the PEOPLE I wander to what PEOPLE THEY WERE REFERRING TO Now I go to the PO in the Janns Mall it a lot closer and centrally located. I do not want any misunderstanding, my disappointment is with the location not the employees. The work of all the employees is excellent and they deserve . ⭐ ️⭐ ️⭐ ️⭐ ️⭐️ plus ♥

I dislike that it will take a full day longer than when my package is delivered for it to show up in my PO box. A few times, I have even been given a key to a locker without the package in the locker!! Why would you do that?? Put the package in the locker THEN give me the key. Frustrating for me when amazon says my package is delivered and then all this bs happens

Far away, yes. Terrible customer service, I dont think so. Yes, there is the guy who speaks broken English and gets pissed at questions, and yes, there is the terrible management system when it comes to parcel delivery. But, besides that, I think it is fine. Its something I see at just about any other post office.

I would say that Ive never encountered an establishment so rife with incompetence and lack of customer service, but that would be unfair to every other post office and/or government-run business Ive visited since birth. This one is pretty high up on the list though.

I have a box that arrived at this post office over 10 days ago and they have yet to deliver it to me. I have gone in but they will not give me my box becouse I have to wait for it to be delivered. This post office is a joke and no one knows how to run it propperly

Will say, regardless of the location issues, I have called this office several times with problems they did not make asking for help. Lately they have been helpful and have tracked my packages when other offices have lost them. Just my experience.

The staff is very friendly, the place is clean and well organized and theres never a long wait. Much less hectic and crowded than the Thousand Oaks post office. Its worth the extra few minutes drive to get in and out with no wait or hassle.

Its Monday at 6:00 pm and the mail still is not delivered. If this was a private business they would be out of business. The worst bunch of managers run this branch, they all should be fired. Completely unacceptable.

This post office is closed since at least 6 months ago, they moved to grand vista dr. Use a competitors map program when searching for post offices since they update important locations sooner.
