Nice to be able to get mail in this remote area, but the system for oversize items and packages is really tough. Typically, you will get a little slip showing that you have a package and then you have to go to the window and pick it up. The problem: they have to be OPEN, and they are never open. I (unfortunately) work M-F 8-5 which leaves only a small little window of opportunity on Saturday to get my packages. If I go out of town or am otherwise engaged on Saturday, its two weeks before I can get anything. My suggestion, do like the rest of the world (including the East side of PMC) and install some large package boxes and place a key in the PO box to retrieve it - done.

I ordered a program and it was delivered to this contract post office. The container said CD DO NOT BEND on it. Yes they did! They bent it in half and stuck it inside my post office box. When I went to the counter and told them they said "you cant prove that was us next customer please" I called the USPS Complaint number and they did nothing about it. I was out over 1000 bucks. You have to be a friend of the people who work there to get good attention from my experience. Typical cold USPS attention is what I got.

packages missed, important notices missed, documents not delivered, important mail mishandled and lost while truckloads of junk mail get dutifully delivered to my tiny mailbox. Thus has been my experience since first moving here. If something is important to you, do not have it mailed via USPS to PMC. Use DHL, FedEx, UPS, but dont trust these guys to do anything right, except deliver endless coupons for Pizza Hut.

I was trying to mail off a package of Cliff bars to My son and his platoon in the Marines . At 12 on the dot. She said Im only helping the person in front of you and then closed. I explained. She didnt want to hear it. I have aambulatolion issues and find access there especially difficult. New owner refuses to bring the mail out to me in winter like past owner.

THE LITTLE WOMEN WITH HER HAIR PULL BACK TIGHT, ISNT VERY FRIENDLY, VERY RUDE ATTITUDE. NO CALL FOR THAT. I KNOW WORKING IN THE POST OFFICE CAN BE A DRAG JUST LIKE WORKING AT THE DMV, BUT LIVING IN AN AREA LIKE THIS, WHY BE ANGRY?

Its PMCs main U.S. PostOffice now owned by the ClubHouse. Without it, this place would be a whole heck of a lot harder to live in. You can trust your mail being sorted and delivered here. (Delivered = put into your P.O. Box. )

Love that we dont have to go into Frazier Park to pick up our mail. The new owners are doing a fantastic job. The new shelving is awesome and the new hours are working out great! Good job you guys!
