STORBOX Self Storage has been a fantastic move in experience. The facilities are clean and secure, the office staff is very friendly and helpful, and the price is pretty good considering the level of quality youre getting - not to mention the staff helps you out with numerous deals for the initial move in. For a little more detail on my specific situation, I was looking for a place to rent for only 3 months while I was in between apartments. Most places offer some form of move in deal, whether its $1 for the first month, or 1st month at 50%. However, this place offers the first 2 months at 50% off. While thats pretty much the same as paying $1 for the first month, STORBOX also offers a free Move in truck (and if its not available, a $40 credit to your rent) and a few extra discounts when possible. In the end, this became the best option for my situation. As far as quality goes, STORBOX is right up there. the entire facility is climate controlled, so none of your stuff is subject to changes in weather. It is also very clean and tidy. Theres not random junk laying around, and you DO NOT feel like youre walking into a post-apocalyptic wasteland warehouse of dust and bugs. The storage unit I moved my stuff into had no trace of someone elses stuff (dirt and dust included). Im not sure if I have a brand new unit, or they take that good of care of things, but it was all very clean and professional. The layout of all of the units seems pretty standard, but the multiple buildings and loading docks divide things up pretty nicely to the point where youre not walking forever. Whats even better, they have several large moving dollys to help get those heavy items in. I had 3 other guys helping me, and we were able to get a fully furnished 1 bedroom apartment out of the truck, on the dollys, up a floor, and stored away in 30mins. The extra moving supplies available really help out. I could say more (such as the special wine storage they offer), but I recommend going and checking it out for yourself. Very satisfied customer here.

My first experience here at Storbox was very comfortable and easy. It was my first time renting out storage for my personal items and I am one of those people that have a hard time trusting my surroundings. Right when you walk in you immediately see a screen with security footage of live feed inside the storage unit halls. That alone helped ease my mind, along with every door having a keypad in which you had to enter a personal code just to enter the storage halls. These pads allow you to page the front desk if there is a problem or emergency, which is perfectly reassuring. The halls are very well lit up with motion sensor lights that turn on immediately when somebody walks through a door. This is very energy efficient and lets me know if anyone else is in the same hall. The loading dock is very convenient, they even provide several dollys in order for you to haul your things to your unit. It took all of 20 minutes for myself and 2 men to load our whole house into the unit. The selection of your unit is very nice because a staff member takes you to the exact unit they have planned for you and makes sure you are satisfied 100% with the space. I estimated a smaller unit than what I thought was needed and the staff member paged the front desk and asked them to find the perfect one to view not to far from where we were. I have been back to take out and put back into my storage and every time I am in and out, knowing I placed my belongings in safe hands. Everyone is extremely friendly and helpful, allowing my first experience to be comfortable and easy.

I am changing my post. I am leaving this month. PS. They bought my good comment last time by giving me a discount. Not worth it. When I was pregnant last year, the owner decided to do construction and I couldnt get to my unit directly. He said I just needed to walk. I was 8 months pregnant. I told him that there was no notification, and I needed to park and get into my unit. He was frustrated with me. I calmly walked in after the incident (after removing my articles while he basically stood there and tapped his foot) and told him I didnt appreciate being treated that way and he said he was "sorry I misunderstood him". It was so inconsiderate... especially to tell a pregnant woman to park across the way, just because he wanted to have his truck closer. I also chose a unit that had easy access, and they decided to do construction ALL summer, and have a tiny entrance in the back where people cant fit very well. I use the unit for my business, and it has been a disaster. The ladies in the office are lovely and the maintenance guy is THE BEST. Unfortunately, their owner has no idea about customer service. And they up the price frequently. Im paying a crazy amount of money for a 10X15. I could rent a small office for the amount.

Overall, this place is great...thats saying a lot for a storage facility. Being new to the area, Ive already had more than my fair share of fingers crossed moments in dealing with businesses and people. The decision to rent from Storbox was completely different. I did my Yelp and Google review of Storbox and their nearby competitors. I was impressed by the reviews so I entered my info online and was almost immediately contacted by Lien. She thoroughly advised me of all of my options for storage size, price and auto draft. When I arrived on-site, I was greeted by Athena and Margaret. Both were incredibly friendly and engaging...even gave me great suggestions and tips of local places to dine and see. Athena reiterated the same info Lien shared on the phone (i was waiting for a hook or a catch), gave me a tour of the full facility, and patiently walked me through the initial paperwork. Like I said off the top, overall great. Do I wish I had access to the facility with expanded hours? Sure. But Ill trade that for the security, cleanliness, and superb customer service.

Storbox is really clean and their staff is second-to-none. I needed storage, so I dropped in as I drove by and I received such wonderful and courteous service and assistance from Athena and Lien. Everything is straight forward and easy to sign up, and I got a special rate to boot! Yes, they may cost a little bit more, but if you have been to other storage facilities, you can tell that you get what you pay for--the Storbox team is professional, rooms are climate-controlled, clean, well-organized, and smiles everywhere! They also offer free one-time use of their truck (first 10miles free, 99cents thereafter) AND you dont have to fuel up, they let you use their truck TRULY FREE! LOVE IT! Also, if you refer someone and s/he rents a unit from Storbox, they will give you a referral gift of $50 credit toward your rent. Great deal. So if youre in need of some extra storage, give them a call or drop by, and see it for yourself how they stack against the other subpar storage places. They get two thumbs up from me, thanks Storbox!

So, after keeping a space at the local Public Storage for so many years I finally got tired of them constantly raising my rent every few months for the same exact space with no change of service. Enough already!! I would drive by STORBOX quite a few times so I finally looked it up online. Reserving a space and getting in there was so incredibly easy (with a great rate as well). The difference in quality between the two business is like night and day! Moving all my stuff out of Public Storage was like pulling teeth (lack of flatbed dollies, slllllow elevators, office looks like a prison guard station). I get to Storbox and they have plenty of flatbeds available (that you do NOT need to leave a license for to use), quick elevators and clean grounds. I was so impressed by them having a bathroom available. So many times Ive moved stuff and drove home with dirty hands! Not here. They even have music piping through the facility to entertain you. Overall, Im so happy I moved to this place. Highly recommended!
