Signing up to be a hair model is a sure way of getting a new style on the cheap. All you need to do is hand over your head of hair to the mercy of the stylist and allow them to give you a fabulous new look. Whenever you go out for free anything theres always a risk. With hair, they expect you to be open. You have become their blank canvas and they are creating a new you. The results most of the time are impressive. The first time I went to Vidal Sassoon they dyed my hair the color of chili peppers. I felt instantly refreshed and new. I’ve seen disappointment form on the faces of girls with blue hair and bowl haircuts. Luckily, I usually like my new hair. One thing is for sure, it is always an adventure!

I live a five hour drive from San Francisco and I make the journey to come to Sassoons. I am British and have been a customer of Sassoons since the 1980s. When I moved to the States I had dreadful hair cut after hair cut and ended up growing my hair and having it cut every time I visited the UK. That was until I discovered Sassoons in SF. They are the only place I trust with my color and cut. The training is the same as Sassoons in the UK--they may be owned by supercuts but thats the only connection with the low budget chain. My colorist does beautiful highlights for me that look completely natural, and the cut is so technically perfect that I can easily last three months.

The real hair salon with creative stylist who will lecture you about your hair if you mistreated it. This is my moms favorite place. Expensive but worth every penny. If you dont have a stylist, call and ask when you are making a reservation. Get manager, if possible. Junior stylists usually dont stay very long and you had to find a new one. Be prepared to spend time there. They wont rush your cut.

Philip cut my hair two weeks ago when I was in San Francisco. As always the cut looks and feels great. Have been a customer of Vidal Sassoon salons and Sassoon trained stylists since my first visit to their Toronto, Canada studio in 1970. Well worth it - have had lots of comments from friends who really like the cut.

Elizabeth is remarkable! I have alopecia (hair loss) in one area of my hair. She cuts my hair and no one notices it. A bit pricey but worth it. I drive 1 hour to see her. Vidal Sassoons reception staff is the best too. Professional and trendy themselves! Love Vidal Sassoon.

Get yourself pampered while you are getting a top professional hair cut. One of the few places in the city where my stylists can use scissors and get my hair cut properly. It is pricey but Im worth it. Dont forget to book much in advance.

Todd for cut and jennifer for color will make you look better than youve ever looked before. this is the first time after having had high-end services internationally that a woman stopped me to ask who is my stylist.
