New Note - Now I am being called, emailed, & phoned by Equipment Recover Service although I have returned all of my equipment - in person within 1 day of cancellation. I have talked to Wave 3 times to get this to stop, but they are ineffective. What a joke. After nearly 15+ years of RCN/Astound/Wave, I have had it. They have gone from 5-star to 1-star in nearly every category. First the cost started creeping up, then the reliability took a dive, and the last straw was the "customer service" (as in completely useless). Our bundled service (tv,internet,phone) went out, so I called, and they said sometime the next day.... I hung up & called ATT and wound up with a 2 year contract (oh well) at about 1/2 the cost - taxes & fees included. Now I can truly WatchTVEverywhere - which I could not with the Wave advertised (3rd party) service - not without downloading (& signing into) each individual channel that I wanted to watch. Oh, and the kicker to the whole thing (and I should have remembered this) - Not One Person reminded to save or forward my emails or contacts before the cancellation date!!! Thanks so much!!

I wish I can give zero stars. The customer service really sucks. They told me they can provide service to my home and scheduled an appointment for that. But when the technician comes, they said my home is not serviceable because my home is brand new and needs outside construction. Then I called the customer service and they told me they would schedule outside construction for my home. After one day, the customer service told me the outside construction is done and scheduled another appointment for indoor installation. The really suck thing is that the customer service told me that my home is not serviceable one week later. It is really a kind of wasting time. I really dont recommend this company as their promises are worthless; and they lie everyday.

Worst company, do NOT do business with them. After over 8 years of their customer, nothing improved. So we switched to AT&T when it becomes available. I called to cancel service and they told me someone will come pick up the equipment the next day 10-12noon. I stayed home all morning, no one came. I finally returned the modem to their store. They accepted it and told me I have a refund of $41 due to cancellation. A month later, I received a bill of another $38 saying I owe them equipement. I called and talked to customer service, and he told me that he would email warehouse to delete the modem that was returned. A month later, I received a notice from Collection Agency for $38. They are the worst incompetent dishonest people.

Awful company. Important channels to me only work intermittently. Customer service is awful - they could never actually solve any problems. Eventually my internet and cable just stopped working altogether, and they couldnt solve this remotely. Told me I would have to wait a week to have somebody come fix it. When I told them it would be more efficient for me to just cancel my service and have a real company come install new, working service, they didnt seem to care. I did this, and it will save me a ton of money. I called Wave 3 times prior to canceling, giving them every chance to keep me as a customer. They never seemed to care. Do NOT sign up for Wave Broadband. I wouldnt wish it upon my worst enemy.

During installation they literally burned out my friends TV as well as their own cable box. They then supposedly submitted a claim for reimbursement. Over a month later, no one responds to his daily calls, not even the "local supervisor". Calling their customer service, they can just "send emails" and literally have admitted they "cant help him". Seems the only option is to take them to small claims court where a judge will force them to respond. Very sad. Would never consider using their service. Also, he had one box that was defective and had to be replaced which required a visit to their office and also an issue with another not receiving the right channels.

Worst customer service I had ever experience. I call and cancel my cable service on January 8, 2016 and they were very good at disconecting the service but they still charge me for the whole month. When I call to ask why I was getting charge for a service that I did no have, they told me I only spoke with at service representative and that they are not in charge of disconecting any service. Here I am, having to pay for a service that I cancel a month ago.

Astound was great.. until corporate Wave Broadband acquqired and ruined what was a good service. Spent a total of 9+ hours and dozen phone calls dealing with intermittent dropouts and issues. Technician came over 3 times and still has not addressed the issue, nor have they even given me a status. 1-2 hour hold times not unusual for a 24 hour round the clock tech support. Frustrating to deal with Astound

I used to be a believer in Astound and now its Wave and whatever they call themselves next week. Honestly, it was a "better than comcast" situation. But today they took the cake - they sent a technician to our house unwelcome and uninvited for a "pre service" call. Im disgusted by this total violation of my privacy and disrespect for our schedule. Time to find a new internet provider.

I had a problem with how we were charged but then after making a complaint, two different reps went out of their way to solve my problem and give me a refund. I am happy to continue service with Wave. It is good to see a company that cares about the reputation of their service. And of course, our internet is the best weve had.

Wave Broadband fiber potential clients. Bad experience while trying to disconnect service. Worst that the legendary Comcast. You cant talk to live rep in fiber. All that reps in business can do is email fiber department and promises you that someone would be calling you back to no availability. Dont fall for them!!

Placed order online for high speed internet installation. Get confirmation by email with promising ahead call. Nobody did call, nobody popup at scheduled time. Call to office and find out order not even get placed because "we dont serve this area".
