This might be too much for this kind of forum but after looking around there really isnt another way for me to express how dissatisfied I am with my Internet and TV service with Wave. Since day one of getting service in November of last year Ive had nothing but issues. The following is just a glimpse into some of the issues Ive had to deal with since last year. (Disrupted TV service on a daily basis, picture fades in and out. Some times there is no sound on certain channels. I have the 110 mbps for internet and I only get 3-4 mbps on a daily basis.) Ive had several technicians out here over the past year from Wave who have replaced 3 HD TV boxes, put in an entire new line from the main box, checked lines coming in from the main street and installed a new jack in my upstairs bedroom. After all the tests, replacing the boxes, including the modem and router, and installing 2 new jacks my service is still shoddy at best. I pay almost 200 bucks a month for TV and internet that is constantly being interrupted. So now I am at an impasse. This is way too expensive for the quality of service and reliability they offer. I find it really hard to swallow that Im paying this much for a service that is this bad. I am at the end of my rope here about to jump ship. I pay my bill on time and all I want is some reliability. Is that to much to ask?

Have had the service for over a year. Had to choose them by default because our area is not serviced by too many providers. The equipment install went fine. The hardware they use is average at best, had to buy my own for better quality and not paying rent for mediocare hardware. The big big negative is service interruptions. I can go along with one here and there after a heavy thunderstorm or such. But theyve had at least 4 service interruptions that I know of over the last 3 mo. in the absence of any unusual disasters that Im aware of. And to top it off on more than one occasion I couldnt even dial up their support line on my cellphone because apparently the phone lines to their own headquarters were compromised. Not a good indication of expertise and reliable equipment by any stretch of the imagination. I would drop them in a jiffy if I had more options to choose from primarily because of reliability issues and shoddy customer service.

Rethinking Wave Broadband. Have had internet service with Wave - no complaints. They used to have top-notch customer service...not anymore!!! (see Yelp reviews - wish I would have before switching! ) We switched from Directv to Wave Broadband and a month later were still waiting for our promised TIVO. (They installed a basic dvr b/c they said they had an overwhelming response to the promotion and would notify us as soon as a TIVO was available.) Talked to "Ken" in Customer service (misnomer) today. He was completely checked out and didnt seem to care one way or the other about his customer. Said he didnt know our TIVO wasnt available and no -- there is nothing they can do about it, and no -- I cant talk to a manager because theyd tell me the same thing! Rethinking Wave Broadband for sure. Wtg Ken!

What happened to this company? We check our bill online and when we call we are told its not even accurate. Makes me wonder if we are actually going over 300gb of data when everyone is at work all week. Plus after we called them to fix it they added additional charges to our bill. Cancelled internet services with them in September. Paid the remaining bill off and returned equipment the next day. Just got a notice in the mail saying i owe them $40 for additional services. How is that possible if i paid my bill off when i cancelled? I STRONGLY advise people to not go with Wave. Read the reviews and know that many people have voiced their experiences for a reason.

Wow. What a line. Two employees working, one a trainee, so theyre in the same register. 6 people ahead of me and one eventually left (cool, now Im "one closer") I look at my phone. Facebook a little. Wait. Then about 15 minutes later its my turn. They said they appreciated my patience. I scoffed, then smiled and asked, "so, do you have a complimentary pen for my waiting so long? " "Ill see what I can do", said the guy and left into the back. I pay and he comes out with a pen. "Here you go. ..." "Thank you", as I smiled. .. "I actually need this. .." To me, Wave and NW Gas have some of the best customer service. Are you hiring? Thanks, Wave!

We have Wave Broadband in my off and I have it at my home, I could not be happier, I had the local telecom service and was so unhappy with them I had to get a replacement service. Our phones would go out for no reason the speed sucked. I was at my whits ends when I happened across one of the reps for Wave at a luncheon. They had my service installed within days and I have not had any problems that were not acts of god related since. My business depends on internet and having a teenager at home I need fast reliable service. Thank you for the great service.

Once the very best, now the absolute worst, most awful company you can imagine with frequent outages of phone and internet. They recently switched billing systems without giving customers the info needed to pay their bills! They give business customers an account manager who is invisible and doesnt exist. There are long wait times to reach anyone and they just have morphed from exceptional to exceptionally awful. The only plus is the Customer Care can be good once reached-- emphasis on "once reached." Buyer Beware!

Absolutely useless company. I scheduled connection of internet service from them after they told me it was available. On the day of install two installers show up and proceed to tell me signal is two low. They then tell me they want $2500 to run a new line from my home to the next major intersection since I would be the last customer on the line. GET REAL! Next he tells me they will do it for free if I purchase telephone and TV service through them. What a shady company.

I make arrangements for certain services, and I am quoted a price. That price never shows up, and in spite of repeated calls I am advised they have no record. I am elderly with limited income, and I have adjusted my viewing to fit my budget. But they are no worse than Dish or Direct, thats why they are getting a 2 star from me, otherwise it would be a 1 star, considering the number of outages and/or riffed programs.

If i could give zero i would. we have had service for almost 3 yrs and its been unreliable to say the least. I have made a many of calls to customer service and they have been helpful and have given credits but $5 here and $15 there doesnt really compensate for all the issues we have had since day one. I feel stuck because there isnt another provider thats any better. Centurylink suck just as bad.
