Despite the negative reviews of uhaul, I went with them mainly due to convenient location and cheapest price (by far from my research). I double-checked my reservation the day before and day of (strongly recommended) and everything was in order. They had the 24 truck I requested, but it was in pretty bad shape - fine for intown but if I were going more than an hour away I would find a more dependable truck (Penske was recommended to me but they were nearly twice the price of uhaul). The truck was fine, but the other nuisance was that the tank was only half-full, so i had to calculate the mpg to estimate how much I should put back in (apparently these trucks get over 10 mpg, but thats was i estimated). due to the trucks condition uhaul reduced my mileage rate by 30%, without me even asking! I was able to drop the truck off after hours without a hitch (pardon the pun) and they billed me electronically without me having to go back in. So, everything turned out fine, but if youre not a risk-taker and are willing to pay more, Id go with Penske or a different company. but if you want to be in-town, cheap and convenient, these guys will do the job... barely. :)

My son called to rent a U-haul truck to move some furniture last Sunday. When he called, he made sure that the specific U-haul office on Francisco Blvd. would be open until 5:00 pm. He got a confirmation number. When he arrived at U-haul before 4:30 pm on Sunday to pick up the truck, the office was closed even though there was a sign on the door saying open until 5:00. Other customers gathered at the front door. They were also disappointed. Next time, we will rent a truck from Enterprise.

Warning to anyone considering the U-Box service at this location: all my valuables were stolen from a U-Box stored here despite assurances from staff that they would be safe. Unfortunately, after a year of attempts to find some sort of resolution or even just an explanation, I am left empty handed. The staff is very friendly and the rentals are great, but I would be very careful about using the storage services.

Ive never seen a more disorganized u-haul location. Add in an aggressive, rude employee who seemed to determined to get fired. Customer service was not in his vocabulary. I dont spend my money at a business that yells angrily at me. Its possible his dog ran away or something and he was having a really bad day, but I doubt it. Plenty of uhaul locations. DO NOT rent one here!

Truck was fine but dont expect any help with customer service. It took them a year and a half to deal with a bridge toll and they racked up additional fines because of their inability to pay and then passed it along to the customer.

We borrowed a truck here the truck up was a nice view but the only thing it was hard to drive very heavy with all those stuff inside since we are moving boxes were full in the truck we hope that we wont have to drive it again

Made a reservation for a truck to rent a week prior. Came to get my truck rental and they didnt have it. They were nice enough to gift me some money but I really needed the truck. Wont be going to this place again.

Short staffed there are alot of Spanish people that try and get in youre vehicle for work or they yell at you becuse they assume youre working when you go rent a vehicle pretty annoying
