First of all this is by far the nicest storage facility Ive ever seen. There are wine storage lockers that start at $28 a month! Very clean, secure and the tenants are all really nice. We know the competition and we know the quality of the competition. It doesnt come close to us here at Price. Never have we had a break in!!11ft tall ceilings and lights in most units, individual alarms, large freight elevators, wide variety of low cost high quality packaging materials, cameras all over the place, managers on site, and amazing tenants that are respectful of other tenants and the facility. We even give a free move in truck to new tenants with 5x10 or larger. What more could you ask for? Come down and see our facility trust me it’s a no brainer! Adam and Jared thanks for the reviews. Just to clear things up I didnt give Jared a hand moving out I simply showed him how to use a tie down strap to strap down a mattress he was moving. Sorry folks but we cant help you move at all other than the free truck and driver offer. It is and insurance liabillity

On the expensive side. Read your contract carefully - no prorated months. Since you have to give 15 days notice, you will owe a full month extra if you decide to vacate on the spur of the moment after the second week of the month! There is an extra $8 fee per month for insurance thats not included in the listed prices. Plus, there is a $22 setup fee and you have to buy one of their specialty lock cylinders for $14, which you cant use anywhere else. Not a good buy for a short term rental. OTOH a very nice facility, spotlessly clean with state of the art fire suppression and security. 2nd and 3rd floor units are a good buy since elevators and push carts are available for free. Semi-good location right next to downtown Walnut Creek, although a bit far from freeway access.

I chose this company because they were so close to my business. Yes they are a little more, but the staff is professional and courteous and the facility is spotless! I am surprised by the "bait and switch" comments. Trisha helped me and she went way out of her way to explain the closing process. She even said that if we thought we would exit at a certain time, we should give notice and then extend later. The extensions ARE prorated. In fact, we gave notice and then had to add 4 extra days and it was prorated. I think people need to pay attention when people are explaining the policies. So often people just sign and ignore the instructions. I really LOVED the free use of the truck for move in. I wish we could rent it for move out too, but I understand why they cant.

I had a great experience here. I just recently rented a space from here for 6 months and had an excellent experience. I, myself, chose this place because of its reviews. Despite a few low reviews, all of which are a few years old, were very good. I asked the staff about this and they are under new management. They were always very friendly and extremely helpful. The manager even personally helped me move out when I needed an extra hand! This place is always very clean and I always felt really safe- a rarity at most storage facilities in the Bay Area. I would highly recommend Price Self Storage to anyone.

Clean and secure place. Prior maintenance man was very creepy. Stood in shed or sat in golf cart and starred at you walking. Expensive and raise their rates too often. They are dicey when it comes to referral credit and auto pay discount. Recommend place to friend she went in and rented and gave my name several times instead of stating referrals are online only they said nothing. She would of signed up online if she just had been told. The auto pay discount is only for the first month. And leave you unit 3 minutes late and they charge you $25.

Great experience!! The managers are extremely nice and helpful. They helped me identify the appropriate unit for my stuff. The facility was very clean and easy to get around. As far as security - excellent - gated w/cameras. The pricing I found was better than other places nearby and they have great pricing specials! I was impressed that they also have a moving truck to help move my stuff from my house to the storage facility - so I didnt need to rent one. Ive never seen that before. Overall great experience and would highly recommend!!

We have had a 10x15 locker for 5 months. During that time the staff has been helpful and courteous at all times and provided the truck for us to move our things in initially...a BIG thing! We no longer have a need for such a big locker so we switched to a 10x10. They changed the rate the same day, saving us more than $40 a month, and prorated from the larger one immediately. The facility is clean, well-lighted, cool, with excellent security. This is one business who abides by their own rules

This is a clean facility, but unfortunately you use a "Bait and Switch" approach to wine locker pricing. They bring you in at a low price and then consistently raise the rent, even in the middle of a significant recession in rental rates (period 2009 or so). Then they raise the rent like clockwork, no matter what the local market is actually doing.

This company is a con. Each one of these reviews are copied into each of the companies other locations from the same people. This business is dishonest and under no circumstances deserve trust in keeping valuables safe.
