I live and work from home in West Hills, I visit this Post Office location several times a month at the very least, and every time I have been here there has been an insane line - sometimes out the door - and MAYBE two people actually working, 9 out of 10 times Ive been here there has only been a single person up front. Dont bother asking to speak with a Manager, this woman doesnt like actually doing work, shed rather just sit there behind the counter looking extremely upset that she even has to be there. The other staff members are friendly (Ive honestly only seen 2 other people working there the entire time Ive lived in this area), but they barely speak English and they have a horrible case of the mumbles. Its like pulling teeth trying to send anything, I would STRONGLY suggest getting flat rate boxes and using the Kiosk to print shipping labels and send things out, you dont want to wait in line for 30 minutes and then deal with people who have no idea whats going on.

I run a business that pays through checks. I normally drop off the checks at the Canoga Park Post Office but two weeks ago I dropped off checks at the West Hills Post office from two bank accounts. Both accounts were hit with fraud, someone in the West Hills Post office took the checks made bad copies and somehow cashed them under false names the following day I dropped them into the mailbox. Be careful with the West Hills office, seems to be a thief working there.

The manager, Harvey, is super helpful. I called to find out if this location does hand canceling for wedding invitations and he was completely accommodating and gave me the best times to come in. Highly recommend this location.

This post office is a wreck, the lines are always long and the parkign is always packed. I get the feeling the employees park and take all the parking there. The people in the post office are always miserable looking, so sad.
