Five star rating, I have only good experiences with extra space storage. I am an older tenant, back when it was USA storage, the facility was always dirty with trash around and there were homeless people living in some of the units. Ever since Extra Space took over, the homeless are gone the facility is clean and quite. Even painted the doors a nice green color, twice already. The times I forgot my gate code, the folks on the phone were very curtious and had no problem letting me in. The times i forgot to make my payments from time to time, I got a curtisy call to remind me, to avoid late fees. Nothing but good experiences. My yearly rate increase are not always enjoyable but I understand necessary because of the hard times. So I continue to rent. Thanks again Extra Space. Tenant for the long haul.

This facility has the worst "management". Glenn is VERY disrespectful and has a hostile demeanor. I would not recommend anyone do business here for the simple fact that the company would employ someone who treats their customers so badly. A payment error (which was Glenns fault) turned into a nightmare. Why would the customer have to be treated badly on top of a mistake he made? This unacceptable behavior should not be permitted and needs to be reprimanded by the company. NO ONE should have to deal with this kind of service. Did not have a problem with this facility until it came to Glenns mistake. The extent of my frustration reaches far beyond words. I want everyone reading this to be aware when coming here. Turn Back and go somewhere else!

I have to admit that when I had first moved in my belongings I already wanted to move on out. Reason being i was constantly harassed by one of the managers . To my understanding he was fired. Overall the facility is clean , and secure. Which is important . No elevators , stairs suck especially if your storage is on the 3rd floor , they have an elevator only for items . It can be a hassle if someone else is using the cart and elevator that means u have to wait till they are done and who knows how long that will be. like i mentioned the stairs suck and soo many of them to go up . The hours to enter and exit are decent I cant complain . The prices did go up for the units. Overall I recommend Extra Space storage

this is the worst storage space ever. They set you up with a good price just to raise your rent every few months. then when you ask to move out you cant move out unless its on their time. overpriced units. Entry gate is always broken. I had accidentally left a tiny box outside and they called me 10 times to move it or else they would charge a 100$ clean up fee. Tried to move into a smaller unit and they just raised the price to the same as the larger unit. these people are ridiculous and have the most ridiculous policies. And everyone you speak with will tell you something different. if you have money to throw away then this is your place.

Honestly... The storage space i rent is pretty decent and im in door so its pretty cool as far as tempeture wise. The location is probably the one and only thing i would change.. Customer service is freakin excellent. Well let me re phrase that... ESMERALDA IS FREAKING EXCELLENT. IVE ONLY DEALT WITH TWO PEOPLE AS FAR AS THE EMPLOYEES. ESMERALDA AND THEN SOME OTHER LADY... I DONT REALLY CARE FOR THE OTHER LADY BUT EDMERALDA IS FREAKING AWESOME. EVERY TIME I SEE HER, HER GOOD ENERGY AND EXCELLENT SMILE...ALWAYS MAKES MY DAY...! THANKS ESMERALDA THIS WORLD NEEDS MORE PEOPLE LIKE YOU.

First, I reserved a unit online and within minutes Aaron had called to confirm. He recommended i see the unit before move in. Next day, I came in, dialed the number on the door sign and Glen helped me out. He showed me the unit and he me sign the lease. He was able to give me a discount for mentioning Yelp, which I greatly appreciates since my current situation left me strapped for cash. I signed the lease, enrolled in automatic payments, and bought my lock. Glen was very thorough in explaining the regulations and conditions of the lease. Thanks a Bunch!!

I have to say hands down Glenn is the best landlord. I rent an office across the street from extra space storage and since day one he has been a pleasure to deal with. I am a women owned business owner and I looked at several office spaces before this one and I did not feel comfortable. Glenn made me feel very welcome and safe. Hands down best landlord I have ever had.

Dorene was a very nice lady, she was very helpful and explained everything we needed to know in detail. We didnt get the feeling of being pushed into making a quick decision. As we totally got from the Washington Ave Site. We immediately had a good feeling about this site. Complete opposite of what we were told from Graciela @ Washington Ave site.

Aaron was really helpful, I had a lock issue in trying to get into my storage unit. He was able to help me quickly and get me on my way so that I could continue storing with Extra Space. The facility is really nice, clean and well kept with a friendly staff plus its a great price. I recommend this location to anyone for their storing needs.

Friendly at home service with all the staff and property manager. Thank you Extra Space for a great site in the city I love so much. Whittier is where my heart is.

I had access to my stuff anytime I wanted. great business hours. answered all my questions...I am moving out tomorrow and would recommend this storage to anyone. ..5 STAR PLACE! This storage place is very clean with friendly service & very well kept up not like other storage places..there is a lot of parking and a dock! The manager is so cool and down to earth with a very cute smile, you know who you are;-) Also its in the heart of Whittier! This place does not disappoint!!!!
