I never post reviews but I couldnt help myself after the experience here. There is no communication between the shop and the customer. When they say your vehicle will be done, it will not be!!! I needed a front bumper, a grill, and a headlight replaced and a relatively small crease in the hood fixed. I went on vacation for 10 days and the shop said they would get it done. I returned to the shop after 11 days as my plane was grounded and had to fly out a day later. At this point I had heard nothing from the shop. I returned to the shop after the 11th day to find my vehicle in the lot. The hood had been fixed but was unpainted and the bumper, grill, and headlight were nonexistent. The shop had never called to tell me they were having issues. They said the wrong bumper was ordered and they would need it a couple of extra days. Later, Well they said they got the bumper in and painted but then noticed the bumper was cracked so they had to get another one. (after complaining the shop paid for a rental for 2 days as I needed to work. Three days later it was replaced and painted and I was finally able to pick it up. A large chrome piece of the grill was not replaced which was part of the grill and should have been replaced (but it was an insurance issue). The shop talked to them and got them to replace the part. I dropped the vehicle off in the morning and was told I could pick up the vehicle at 1:30 PM when i was able to get a ride over. Once again the shop did not get a hold of me and it had not even been worked on yet. I was furious and yelled about it and the owner said he had issues in the am with a vehicle with a transmission that was blocking the garage door which he had the keys to. (this was a lie because all he had to do was have the vehicle hand pushed out of the way (plenty of room) The grill literally took ten minutes for the employee to replace (which should have been done by the time I arrived. The finished product looked great but the experience was something I could have done without.

Easy and pleasant experience with Brian at ABC Auto Body. They do walk-in estimates, no appointment needed. I swung by with my Honda which had some paint transfer, possible dings underneath, and a crunched side view mirror. They buffed the transferred paint off at no charge so that they could see if there were dents or scratches on the door underneath and gave me two separate estimates - one for the mirror replacement and one for body work to repair the few light dings they found. They also gave me a referral to a place that will hammer out dings (rather than do the full body work and repainting) if I wanted a less expensive repair, which I thought was evidence that they do actually care about helping the customer figure out their best option, as other reviewers have said. I dont mind dings so decided to live with those but asked ABC to replace my side mirror. It could not have been easier. They got the part within two days and since their mirror guy was not busy he did the replacement in less than 15 minutes while I waited (though I also had the option to drop the car off and come back for it). Efficient, professional, friendly, and reasonable cost. I highly recommend these guys and will go back to them next time the need arises.

I cannot recommend ABC highly enough. When I bashed the front end of my car, my insurance company tried to steer me toward their own preferred body shop. (Unfortunately, one look at its reviews convinced me Id be letting myself in for a long stretch of misery.) ABCs glowing reviews intrigued me, and, although my insurance company still did their best to push their body shop on me, they were quite willing to work with ABC once I stood firm. The whole experience with ABC was outstanding (despite the bummer of a crashed front end). From the first phone call to enquire whether they could do the job, through them communicating with my insurance company and the adjuster, to obtaining genuine parts at the insurance companys specified discount price, to communicating with me clearly and getting the work done in a timely fashion... all of it was easy, hassle free, and beautifully done. And to top it off, they fixed an old and ugly door ding on the house! Extraordinary service, friendly staff, professional work--all done with a level of integrity that is unusual in this age of disposable values.

We recently had our car worked on at ABC Auto Body of Boulder and the results were absolutely amazing – quality workmanship and professional treatment in every aspect. Trevor was incredible to work with and turned out to be a really solid and trustworthy individual throughout the entire process. We actually started talking with him in early January, sent him some pics of the damage to our vehicle and he provided an estimate over the phone. Because we live part time out of state it wasn’t until the end of April when we could actually get the repair work done. In the meantime, we had some other minor repairs we needed taken care of. Trevor added these on to his original estimate and was very fair in his pricing of these. Again, the results of their work at ABC Auto Body on our car were beautiful and were done for both the exact amount estimated and in in the exact time frame Trevor had provided us initially. We could not be happier with how everything turned out and will trust both ABC Auto Body and Trevor with our car again in the future if the need ever arises!

My daughter is attending CU and I (her father) live out-of-state. She cracked up her SUV and I needed to choose a shop without being there or knowing people who had any experience with this in Boulder. I made my decision soley off of the reviews on line. This was a little scarey and I could not believe Bernie was as good as so many say. Bottom line, Bernie was fast, efficient and always gave me status calls without me asking. I have no idea if the price was the lowest I could have received, but I will pay for top quality service and being able to trust a person like I do with Bernie. When he overlooked something in the estimate, he called me and was frank and apologetic. We had a small thing that needed to be addressed after I paid and the truck was returned and Bernie handled this in the most amazing way. He actually had a mechanic from across the road address the issue because that mechanic had better knowledge. He did not charge a dime for this and treated my daughter like she was his own. I could not more highly recommend a body shop than ABC.

Initial estimate for a repair of back bumper and one tail light was 3-4 days. I delivered the car on Tuesday morning and was expecting it ready before the weekend. When I had not heard anything on Friday I called them. They told me they needed to take a look at it and they would call back. They never did. I called them again in the afternoon and got the same answer. This time they did call back to say it would not be ready before the weekend. The following Tuesday (7 days) I call them again and then I hear that there is hidden damage that they will have to clear with my insurance. Nothing for the rest of the week until they call me on Friday to tell me it will be ready on Monday. I should wait for their call. Monday I was traveling in the afternoon and my wife picked up the car - 13 days after we dropped it off. Their process is obviously broken, they do a bad job of keeping the customer up to date and did not seem to check for additional damage until very late in the game. The work seems to be good and thats why I give them two stars.
