As a single woman alone, it is extremely important for me to find a good auto mechanic I can trust. A few years ago, I went to them to service my 91 Infiniti and the mechanic at the time was very trustworthy. Recently, I had to purchase another car and had always believed that, although I had not been there in a few years, I would still be able to trust them. The newest car needed some maintenance, of course, and they provided me with a detailed list of what was necessary. I had a Groupon for an oil change with a few extras, but ATP said the serpentine belt needed to be replaced ASAP because it was badly cracked. Their charge: $165. I didnt have it so was scared to death to drive my car. My car dealer and a few others told me not to be afraid, and I was referred to a few other mechanics. The one referred to me by the dealer, Brent, said he could change the belt for $45. I found one on sale at Advance Auto for $21. All done. What a difference! Will never go back to ATP for anything. Cannot trust them and their prices are much too high.

Ive had mixed results with this auto tech plaza. Sometimes they do what they say they are going to do in the time they say they are, but.. last time I went in to get a simple hole created by a nail patched up. The owner, Ron some how managed to break my valve stem and not only not take responsibility at first but continued to try and blame it on me and say thats why the tire was flat when I brought it in. I told him multiple times I had to put air in it at least 3 times the last 24 hours and the valve stem was in perfect condition, and I knew it was the nail causing the flat because I heard air pouring out the hole. They also didnt have the knowledge to program the new one so I was told to go to the dealership, which at first he didnt want to pay for. I made it clear I held them fully responsible till he paid for his mistake.

I came to the 21st street location by way of a Groupon oil change deal. I had a hard time finding it to begin with and then found out when I got there that my appointment was earlier than I thought. Luckily they saw me. However, the staff were extremely rude during the entire appointment, which made me very uncomfortable. I get that I was late but I still deserve the same level of customer service as anyone else. Customer service is what makes or breaks a business. Word of mouth is crucial to keep a business going year after year. Your team at 21st street could use a refresher course on how to treat your customers. I wont be coming back and Ill most definitely tell my coworkers, as well as my friends and family about my experience today. Great Groupon deal but hardly worth it when the staff is unfriendly and rude!

I love this shop. Ive worked at dealerships and had our vehicles serviced all over the US and these guys are top notch and by far my favorite. They are always super thorough, only suggest work your car truly needs/may need in the future and they are never ever pushy about the suggestions. I had a caliper that the bleed screw broke on during a brake fluid flush. They called to let me know and replaced the caliper for me at no cost since the tech should have tried a few other things or called to see if I wanted it replaced or to skip the flush before he attempted to power through it being stuck. These guys are super honest, straight shooters, and female friendly, theyve earned all my automotive business while we live here!

We were trying to get back home to Arizona and had problem with our car overheating. We found Auto Tech Plaza through AAA and Mike arranged to get us in early in the morning. As luck would have it, everything was working fine, but they gave our cooling system a thorough check so we would have the confidence to resume our 800-mile trip. Mike patiently explained everything they did and even washed off all the coolant that had overflowed on our engine. The charge was very reasonable, I think they actually charged less time than they spent on the car. We were able to resume our trip with minimum delay and no further problem.

Auto Tech Plaza 21st is fantastic. They always thoroughly check out my vehicles (even when just coming in for a regular oil change). They let me know about what maintenance needs to be done, what is on the radar but can wait, and stuff that I may want to do on my own (if Id like). Debbie is very informative when she calls back with my estimate, letting me know exactly what is going on and taking the time to explain things so I can understand it as well. Their prices are reasonable and the services is always done exceptionally well in a quick manner. Youll love taking your car here!

The service is always friendly and responsive. I always feel that the advice Im getting is professional and honest, even when I dont like it. Mike always encourages me to get a second opinion before I have work done if Im not comfortable with his advice. Hes usually right though. The one thing I dont like it that the coupon, e.g. the $24.95 oil,lube etc, never seems to come out to $24.95. I dont think that is Mikes fault but rather the folks who put together those coupons. The invoices should follow the coupons without requiring explanations and references to fine print.

I went in for an oil change. They checked out everything and suggested that I do an oil cleanse, which I did because, as they showed me, my oil was very dirty, even though I have had regular oil changes. Sludge evidently builds up over time. I suggest that, when you go, allow a little extra time because they wash your vehicle when theyre done with their work. The woman at the front desk is superb at explaining exactly what is going on in a way that a laywoman can understand. She creates trust -- no kidding! This is a great place to take your vehicle.

We recently needed a repair where we didnt know the extent of what might need to be done, due to a fairly spread-out leaking in my trucks undercarriage. Step by step, we were walked through the repair and, at each point, the staff at Auto Tech Plaza worked to keep our fix as cost-effective as possible. In the end, we were fixed for FAR less than we expected and they even honored a special coupon we had from a past repair. Our family highly recommends the knowledgable and caring staff at Auto Tech Plaza 21st Street!

We brought our 2006 Lexus in for the 120,000 mile inspection. Auto Tech was very professional and I would recommend them for any work you need done. The work area was clean and the waiting room the same. Debby behind the deck is magnificent and she knows her stuff. They even washed the car for me. They are much lower priced than the dealer but with the same expertise. Great service!
